Tisa took her time to listen to what we wanted for a haircut and made suggestions when we asked her. She took her time and carefully and professionally cut my hair and two of my daughters hair. We will return when we need another haircut.

Choi has been styling my hair for six years. I was desperate to find someone to cut and style my hair for my daughter's wedding and she was recommended by a friend. At that time she had a chair at a shop at World Gate Shopping Center.  She has since opened her own shop where she can assure that all her designers meet her extraordinary standards.  I have miserable hair. It is baby thin and dry. These problems are exasperated as I frequently color my hair by myself and use a blow dryer regularly. No one has managed to do my hair to make it look more than acceptable until I met Choi. She has created fancy hairstyles for me for dressy occasions and relaxed styles for casual times. She has painstakingly taught me how to recreate these by myself and how to make a casual style appear fancy. She always remembers what style suits me the best. For the first time in my life, I receive compliments on how my hair looks.
My daughter, age 26, decided to cut her dead ends to even her long beautiful hair by herself. She kept cutting and cutting until her hair was above her shoulders and looked terrible and hopeless. I brought her to Choi hoping for the best. Emily had always had long hair and felt that she would look terrible if it were short. Choi used her magic to design a short hair style for her that looks magnificent.

I've been going to Shapes for hair cuts for many years, but this is the first time I tried their Signature Facial. It was absolutely wonderful! It was a very relaxing hour-long service that included cleansing, exfoliating, and extraction. I felt great afterward and my face is still glowing several days later. This was my first facial ever and I now I think I'll make it a monthly thing!

I also had a spa manicure and pedicure that weren't quite as impressive. I would have expected more massaging and pampering since these were the pricier "spa" services. I felt like my feet barely had any time soaking in the water.

Fortunately, Shapes was offering all three services at a 25 percent discount the weekend I visited. This made the pricing very reasonable. I would have been happy to pay full price for the facial, but the nail services seem overpriced for what you get.

Overall, I recommend trying Shapes, especially if you are lucky enough to get a discount!

I have been a customer of Sunny both at Studio Hair and at a previous location and she is absolutely the best colorist and stylist. Totally understands hair and client expectations. The entire salon is always welcoming and friendly. Clientele spans all age groups and no one seems out of place. It's great.

Par gives me an outstanding haircut every time, but that's not the only reason I go to her. Not only does she go out of her way to accommodate my schedule, but she also brightens up my day with her warmhearted nature as well!

Par is without a doubt THE best hair colorist and stylist I have found. Sure, you'll pay a lot more at some of the fancier Georgetown salons. They may even give you a glass of wine. But what you'll get from Par is the best haircut you'll ever receive at a reasonable price. And, the highlights she gives are the best. My hair is course and curly, and I haven't had much luck finding a stylist who leaves me with a cut I can work with. I've been the happiest I've been with my hair in years. Par is friendly, and her customers are just as wonderful as she is.  You won't be disappointed if you call Par. You'll wish you found her years ago. I guarantee it!

I have had a good experience. I call them a mid range haircut place. They are above the average but not as expensive as other places. I feel like I get a very good deal for what I pay. I go to the same hair person every time so it seems like she knows me.

One of the employees accidentally gave one of their customers MY coat instead. I had to say something to the employee, since I keep keys in the pockets. He corrected his action, but be apprehensive if they offer to hang up your coat/purse and it may wind up missing.
Sophia just took off after she was done with my hair, as if she couldn't get away from me fast enough. I wasn't all too impressed with her work. I wasn't disappointed, but wasn't blown away either. For $110 just for a cut and root touch up, I think that's too pricey.

Honestly -  when I walked in it looked like a great place.  I was impressed by the decor.  The stylist was professional and for the most part my hair was styled OK.  I have thick/coarse hair and as a result I was charged extra because my hair was thick and took too long.  Absolutely outrageous.  Hair is hair and for a basic wash and blow out there should be NO such added charge, especially when the stylist is the one that took too long to handle the hair. It was New Years Eve and I did not want to complain however, it is highly disappointing when a salon feels the need to impose these petty fees just to earn a quick buck.  I also checked the website prior to and there was no warning or indication of these fees. I prefer my run-down hidden gem salons that do not penalize clients for thick or coarse hair just because their stylist are incapable of managing and handling the hair - if you can't style ALL sorts of hair, go find another industry.  I will NEVER be returning or recommending this place and the stylist was NOT tipped due to the fact that I was NOT notified PRIOR to my style of this alleged charge.  You should ALWAYS let a client know how much a style may cost and roughly any added fees they may accrue so they may either choose to accept or deny it.  Had I known prior to I would have left since those fees are completely insulting to myself the client.  The way I was styled I could have done a better job at home - that style was not worth $60 and that fee was definitely a slap in the face.  Never again. If you have coarse/thick hair be warned you may get penalized for that just like I did, just a heads up before you go.

I use them all the time.  They are excellent and I have been going to them for over 8 years now.  I had left because there was one person that actually worked there and I really liked her.  She went off to a room and then I went to her for maybe six months.  She was trying hard to make money, but wasn't really able to cope up.  I will not pay money, if someone is not doing it properly.  I then came back and was really happy with them.  I did come back because it is a top-notch place and the owner is wonderful.  It is like a one big family there.  It is really a great group of girls.
