    Basement Masters Waterproofing
I contracted Basement Masters Waterproofing to fill two cracks that started near the bottom of my basement window. I also asked them to install a new sump pump basin (jackhammering foundation floor needed) and installing a new sump pump. The crew showed up at 3 pm and I was worried they would be done by 5:30 when my wife got home. They got all the work done. Even re-routed my sump pump exit line closer to the wall. The price was higher than another company that got me a quote, but the work was completed extremely fast and they took the time to do the extras (smoothing concrete perfectly, re-running the sump pump line) without me asking. They were out the door by 5 pm. I highly recommend anyone to use them.

    Cyrus Construction LP
We hired Cyrus to remodel our unfinished basement and our expectations were far exceed by the finished product! They turned our dingy, uninspiring basement where we had nothing but storage into an awesome bar/lounge area where we plan on watching hours of sporting events, a gaming room for my kids that is separated from the adult side and a beautiful full bathroom (which is nicer than all of the other bathrooms in my house)!! Every step of the way we had Russell to ask questions or ping him with comments about what we were seeing. He was always responsive and communicated with us via email, phone and text. He always kept us apprised of the next steps in the project. I would highly recommend Cyrus and will likely use them for our next home renovation!

    American Plumbing Inc
It went great...American Plumbing was professional, responsive, and did a great job. They are very experienced at this type of work, they found the underground leak and replace the water line with minimum disruption. I was only without water to my house for half of one day, and their clean up after the job was done was perfect...It was hard to tell they had been there. I would hire them again without hesitation.

    Exterior Waterproofing Experts
Fantastic! We are so thankful to be working with Clifton Contracting! We had some very specific requests and high expectations. Chris and the Clifton Contracting team were so patient and worked very hard to complete the job. We could not be more thrilled with the final outcome. We have used them for 5 or 6 different kind of projects from drainage to grading to a two different additions. I will definitely hire them back for additional work.

    Exterior Waterproofing Experts
My experience with Clifton Contracting has kept me coming back to them time and again. Chris and his crews are professional, punctual and cordial. We were in serious need of exterior water management on our property. Clifton Contracting designed and installed a French drain system where others had failed. I could not be fore satisfied with their work and my experience. -Kevin

Clifton Contracting does outstanding work. The drainage and water erosion solution installed by Clifton Contracting at our home gives us peace of mind, no matter how heavy the rainfall. After a neighbor on ground higher than us installed yard drains for his gutters that were directed at us, we were inundated with water every rain event. Since Clifton's drainage solution, we have no problems. Their work was efficient, professional and well worth the reasonable cost.

    Basement Masters Waterproofing
I got wet basement due to excess rain. I interviewed top three waterproofing companies from Angie's list. I picked Basement Masters. Here are the three reasons - (1) The owner, Randall articulated a plan well to me and seemed to have my best interest in mind. (2) The customer care, Leah was friendly and personal. (3) Their price point was very reasonable. It turned out that my basement concrete was unexpectedly thicker than normal. They didn't complain and didn't raise the price and complete the work in 3 days. They installed French drain, added new sump pump, buried downspout drains outside. They did clean and beautiful job (see pictures below) and provided responsive customer care after installation. I was pleased with their performance and will hire them again.

    Terranova Construction Kitchen And Bath
This is the most unpleasant experience I have ever had with a contractor. Notice that there are no recent positive reviews for them - I would question any you find. A 6-8 week basement reno that started in April has not been completed as of mid-October. We decided that it was most likely easier to try to work with them to complete the job instead of hiring an attorney, but that was probably a mistake and we may end up still having to take legal action. During the contract negotiations we were told "not to worry" that specifics were not in the contract, but that was a huge mistake on our part. We foolishly trusted this company when we should have been smarter. The list goes on and on - so much that it's hard to choose which items to put in this review. Prepare to be charged extra for everything. The most recent is the owner complained that we asked them to rehang blinds that they removed because it wasn't in the contract. A large item for me that I regret is I would have hoped that they being the "experts" would have raised our unlevel floor as a concern and discussed potential options for proceeding. Instead they installed planks over the dip that actually popped out and warped the same day. When we complained, they threatened to stop work and not return. They charged us $500 to fix their bad work. Again hindsight we should have been grateful for them to leave but we were afraid of the time needed to start new with someone else. Beware that they push Next Day cabinets. Read reviews on the longevity of the products they recommend. When we asked their "designer" about a model number for a faucet she recommended, she told us that it would be too much effort to provide that. We endured multiple insults from the owner - calling us hateful people and telling me that I'm not a queen and I can't tell him what to do. If they made a mistake, it was immediately our fault and we were yelled at. I've never been talked to like this by anyone and as a woman I felt very threatened and uncomfortable by the owner's demeanor towards me. The owner also doubles as the PM and is completely out of touch with the job status. This project was very poorly managed and there was no attention to detail. The morning that carpet was to be installed, the basement was still filled with trash. My husband and I had to take off work and spent 2 solid hours hauling out trash and cleaning the floor so that the carpet people could work. The one positive thing that I can say is that most of the time when they screwed something up the 1st or 2nd time, after yelling at us, they would usually try to resolve it to our satisfaction. At the time of writing this, it has been almost a month since we provided them with our punchlist, but they have not made progress on it so we are still unable to use our basement.

    Basement Masters Waterproofing
My poured concrete basement wall had been cracked and leaking for several years always following substantial rainfall. The dehumidifier had been able to keep up with it to a point, but it quit and the mildew began. I called a competitor of Basement Masters ( that advertises heavily on local TV). The rep came out complete with big book of endorsements and did a walk through. He recommended their "system" to fix the leak. It consisted of a french drain around the inside perimeter. The price was incredibly high! I blew that off, and after several months contacted Basement Masters. Randall (the owner) came out, did a review of the situation and told me I could go with either of two ways: 1) outside dig to address the problem with a 20-year guarantee, or 2) inside epoxy injections to the prepared crack and a 10-year guarantee. The price of the inside epoxy injections sold me that that was the way to go. It took a while for the rain during the summer of 2018 to provide a dry three-day period for the epoxy to set and cure, but a window finally opened to allow for the process. Once Walter (the guy is a magician!) did his thing, the basement is finally dry! I can't say how happy I am! Basement Masters is true to their word, have more then fair prices, and just do the right thing. Call others for an assessment, but make sure you call Basement Masters and go with them for the work.

    NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair
This company is AWESOME. I was concerned about my property's water drainage/flow; I have an area that is constantly moist, collects water, and doesn't dry during the rainy season. In addition, I have a sump pump in the basement (we inherited the system from the previous owner) and wanted to make sure it was working. Bruce came out, walked me through all of my concerns. While the area that collects water could be remedied with a french drain system, he said I didn't need it for safety of my home. Then, he checked my sump pump (everything was working fine). I went to pay him for his time--and he DIDN'T charge me. What an HONEST company! He didn't sell me a system a didn't need and he didn't even charge me for his time. I know that if my sump pump system goes out--this will be the ONLY company I call.
