    Aguiar, Dr. George
In my opinion, when I'm under general anesthesia its impossible to tell with any degree of certainty how surgeries go. At the end of the day we do the best research we can given the amount of time and money we have and take a leap of faith. At the conclusion of every surgery I've had from countless surgeons they all say, "Everything went great!" when I woke up. But, the surgeon has a huge self-interest in saying, "Everything went great!" so who knows how it truly went? Hard to say if I really improved after my surgery, but I have a chronic knee problem. Relative to other surgeons I'd say Dr. Aquiar seems pretty good. Of course, what do I know about surgery? From what I read some of the best 'skilled' surgeons have terrible bedside manner so hard for me to actually rate. I would hire again so I guess that means my gut tells me he's good. Bedside manner is pretty good.

    Poulin Chiropractic
He is a nice guy and a great human being. I think he was referred by a neighbor. He is the best and he uses a very well recognized methodology. He has been great and I highly recommend him. He has two clinics and he works both, but he will go out of his way to make himself available. The office environment is outstanding.

    Dr. Gregory Lee, DC LLC
My dentist recommended that I see a chiropractor for my TMJ pain. This sounded very strange to me as I previously only associated chiropractic therapy with back-related issues. Dr. Lee has a therapy plan specifically for TMJ patients that gradually eliminates opening/closing deviation in terms of jaw movement, while also massing and/or dry needling the impacted muscle tissue to relieve pain. So far therapy is going very well. I have been seeing Dr. Lee now 3x a week for almost 3 months now, and have been off muscle relaxers after only a few visits. Overall jaw condition appears much improved, although not 100%. Hopefully over time I can get there. Other notes: staff is very friendly, and use of traction/TENS units in lieu of just sitting in a chair waiting for doctor to see you makes you feel like you are not wasting your time even when there is some delay.

Very happy with the surgeson's skill and outcome (and I will rate the surgeon separately), but the office environment and billing could be better. Got incorrect information from staff on two separate phone calls, and always felt rushed.  Before surgery, I received an estimate of costs, which I paid at the time of surgery but am still being hit with miscellaneous charges months later. Not huge amounts, but frustrating and annoying nonetheless

    Bruno Chiropractic Arts Center

I had never been to a chiropractor before but last week when there was a pop in my lower back followed by severe pain I had no choice.  I could barely walk and my muscles kept cramping.  It was miserable.

Despite my pain I was reluctant to go to a chiropractor because of the horror stories I heard from my friends.  They complained about endless expensive treatment plans, constant attempts to sell them outrageously priced vitamins and healing crystals (I'm not kidding), and lectures about how every ailment from colds to cancer is caused by poor alignment of the spine.

I found Dr. Bruno here on Angie's List and he was able to get me in the same day.  In minutes he diagnosed the problem, a tight psoas muscle.  He did some manipulations, applied a heating pad, and fifteen minutes later I was out of there with almost no pain. He gave me some exercises to stretch it and scheduled a follow-up two days later.

In my second 15 minute session he did another manipulations, applied electronic stimulation, and put me under a heating pad.  After this I was pain-free.

That's it. In two quick sessions I was able to go from fairly severe pain to being fine.  I don't understand how any of that worked but it did.  He just told me if I have the problem again to come back.  No need for ongoing appointments or attempts to sell me anything else.

I would highly recommend Dr. Bruno and definitely use him again if I have further back pain.

Great.  I've been seeing Dr. Poe because of a rear end collision.  He was thorough in his examination of my injuries.  He was great in allowing me to ask a lot of questions and explained everything we were doing and why.  He's been able to resolve my issues.  I'm very pleased with my treatment.

They were very efficient, took xrays, checked my back, requested an MRI, which I got, they went over it with me thoroughly, they recommended non-invasive surgery, but I chose not to have it. They gave me pain medicine and told me to rest it and drink lots of water. I did, and within a few weeks the pain went away. I had stopped taking the pain med's after a couple of weeks to make sure the pain was really gone. It was. The pain has not come back. I liked that they did not try to pressure me into surgery. They gave me my options, but the first option was rest, the second was surgery. I chose the first option. My doctor was Dr. Mazahery. Very nice, very thorough, good bedside manner.

    Klein, Dr. Thomas J.
The surgery went very well. Dr. Klein is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I had minimal pain after the surgery and I was walking unassisted within 24 hours after the surgery. Recovery was swift and I was able to resume all normal activities within a few days including my winter conditioning program for senior softball.

    To the Point Therapeutic Massage
My sister and I both had a great experience dealing with Tonya Shultz at To the Point Therapeutic Massage. I called Tonya from Virginia to arrange a session for my sister in Indiana. Tonya was very pleasant and accommodating in establishing a gift session for my sister at a future date. After eight months, during which she had back surgery, my sister had her therapeutic massage yesterday and was very happy with the results. She reports that Tonya is very thorough in working out kinks and knots which can be a bit uncomfortable at the moment but feels sooo good afterward. I'm happy that she's happy and may treat her to another session.

My son has been having trouble with his knee for years. Over the course of the last year it has gotten worse. We received treatment from other doctors before going to Dr. Novack and Commonwealth Orthopedics. MRI showed no problems. Dr. Novack did a much more thorough job investigating the cause than any previous doctor. He is quite busy but the visits with him put us on a well-thought out track. We tried physical therapy first for several months. Dr. Novack communicated well the condition of my son's knee after a much more thorough examination. We still could not find the cause so Dr. Novack recommended a knee scope. The scope didn't find any problem with the knee either, but what I like is that Dr. Novack didn't just shrug his shoulders like previous doctors, we still have a plan using physical therapy. Very good doctor, competent, communicates well and we have a clear plan. Highly recommend, we will stay with Dr. Novack. He is busy but worth the wait.
