    Anthony & Sylvan Pools
The project was to install a new pool from scratch. We started in Oct with the design of the pool. Overall the design process went well. The excavation took place in December and the concrete for the walls went in in Jan. From here, the schedule completely fell apart. Despite the amount of money you will pay for the pool, you as the customer will be expected to perform a lot of the oversight of the sub contractors and you are on the hook to clean up after them. March turned into April. By late April, we had figured out that our project manager had left the pool company. Our project made slow progress but by mid May the pool pump equipment was installed. By early June the pool deck was poured and the water was put in by the end of June. Despite having a new project manager, you will not see the PM on days when big events are happening, you will be on your own to make sure the project is put in correctly and that the sub contractors clean up after themselves. It is now late August and the pool has failed county inspection three times for various different issues. Do you expect hiccups along the way on a big project like a pool - Yes and we had quite a few. After all was said and done, A&S corporate headquarters stepped in and is doing what they can to ensure the project gets finished in the manner it should of be. Will you get a pool installed - Yes. Will you have to do a lot of supervision - Yes. However, for the amount of money that you will spend and how long you will look at the final product, I find it difficult to recommend using this company.

    Armor Fence

Can not say anything but great.  Tim came on time for the estimate and got back tome quickly.  He even pointed out a way that we could level the sag in the deck at no additional expense.  He delivered the estimate quickly and it was the most complete explanation of the work to be done, but also was the lowest cost.

The fence crew was first and did an outstanding job.  The lay of the land was no the easiest and the crew did fantastic.  The fence looks great.

The step's crew came the next day and did an equally great job.  Quick and it looks good.

I would recommend Armor Fence for any work..

Scott was great to work with and his crew was awesome!  They had quite a task involving repairing and painting our walls and extremely high ceilings.  The guys took their time and everything looks absolutely terrific.  We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

    On Point Builders Inc
On Point Builders constructed a 32' x 20' deck with a 14' x 14' gazebo using composite decking  and pressure treated lumber. The entire process could not have gone more smoothly.  On Point is a small family-owned business that is absolutely fantastic to deal with from start to finish.  They are extremely responsive and excellent to work with during the design phase and are 100% focused on ensuring the customer gets exactly what they want by offering ideas and solutions that would work best while still staying within budget.
The owner, Wayne Shepherd, and his son Brennan did all of the work themselves with the exception of the shingles on the gazebo roof.  This is a huge advantage because the quality control is "on point".  They are extremely meticulous and the attention to detail is second to none.  On Point only uses the highest quality materials and even does additional work including sanding down exposed surfaces, gently rounding corners, and taking extra effort to hide screws and fasteners when they can.
The final product turned out better than expected and we could not be happier.  Since they are a small family operation you may have to wait a little longer to have the work performed, but the final product will make the wait completely worth it.  When you hire the bigger mass production companies you are really taking a chance depending on which crew gets assigned your project. Contact On Point Builders for your next project and you will receive a quality product at a fair price that you will be delighted with for years!

The quality of the deck was an A and the price was competitive. They estimated the start date to be 3/24 and they verbally estimated it would take three days even though the estimate said it would be 30 days later on 4/24. They ultimately finished in mid-May. My husband chose them because they were deck specialists, but I had a bad feeling about them. They weren't good at listening. I had to say things multiple times to get them to follow through. They seemed determined to talk mostly to my husband even though my husband and I are a team and I had the ideas as to the coloring and other aspects of the job. There was just poor communication between us and them. They didn't show on the designated start date, but they didn't contact us. I had no clue as to their target start date because they didn't let us know. They weren't good with communication throughout the job either. Their didn't get the final check until 5/16 and they still had to address some electrical issues because the stairs had lights on them. That took about a week for them to come back out. There were issues with the landing portion of the deck as well because they removed it completely even though I specified that we wanted that to still exist. The owner had the audacity to call me 5-6 days after they had finished up everything asking me where the final check was. The check was already in the mail to them, but it seemed ironic that the owner was good at communication when it came to his money.

    Red Carpet Remodeling, Inc.
The guy who came to my house for the estimate (his name was Todd) was so professional and did such a good job interacting with us at our home. He really made me feel like he was going to do a good job. Todd was sincere and had a great presentation for us. We did not pick this company in the end because we chose a company that specializes in decks.

    Design Builders Inc
They were eager when I first contacted them. I had sent them pictures and they mistakenly thought I wanted to replace the whole deck and screened in porch area. I only wanted to replace my deck. He said he would do an estimate, but then they never contacted me. I called them and they said that the job was too small for them. They failed to let me know that. They promised an estimate and then they never followed up with me.

    MC Fence
These guys are absolutely awesome, professional, and know their trade. I was looking for a fence that was tall enough that my dog wouldn't jump it, beautiful enough to sit next to my home, low enough that we could still enjoy our beautiful wooded view. All other fence companies gave me two out of three of those things and all options were wood. KC (of MC Fence & Deck) gave me great quotes on various wooden fences but when I explained we wanted to still be able to see the woods behind our house he suggested aluminum fencing. Genius! No other provider suggested that to us and we never asked because we thought it would be way too expensive.
KC came out, drew out the plan, that same evening we had our quote. I worked with his office the next day to schedule an installation date and provide 1/2 payment and the following Tuesday morning my fence was being installed. The process was seamless. We had a new driveway installed a few weeks before and KC made sure that his flatbed did not come down our driveway and ruin it. He didn't have to do that, but I'm glad he did! He also provided me with wire mesh to deter my puppy from digging in his favorite little spot. The installation crew was also great. The two of them worked methodically and efficiently and cleaned up after they were all done.
I would HIGHLY recommend MC Fence & Deck (and have) to my friends and neighbors. They provided great pricing, great ideas on how best to achieve exactly what I was looking for, were professional, efficient, and courteous. I'm a fan! Thank you.

    Prince William Home Improvement
They were suppose to start in the winter but because of bad weather they couldn't begin at that time. The weather kept delaying the start time to the project but they were very persistent and did the work when the weather would allow them to. The workmen were courteous. They kept me informed the entire time throughout the project. Whenever I made suggestions concerning minor changes, they accommodated  They made it possible for handicap people to access my house due to the ramp they built. I recommend them!

    Wash My Deck
Initially there was some confusion on what I was asking to be done. They measured the area wrong and then when we got that corrected the estimate was correct. They were a little slow in initially responding to me to come out and more importantly to set up a date to do this. A very nice young man came out and power washed the deck. A few says later another person came out very early in the morning and sealed the deck.  He left a card saying it was done and I could smell the spray.  I did pay for the difference and it was reasonable. We did a play a little bit phone tag. I would not use them again because I have now bought a power washer. The man brought his own power washer.
