Their installation team was incredible. Timely and finished earlier then anticipated. Gave the house great care in making sure rugs and floors were covered and all inside workers had protective gear around feet. Worked as a great team. Would definitely use them again.

We were flooded twice in ten days during July 2018. Through recommendations from others who had similar work done, we contacted JES. Todd Simmons, the field inspector, came out in August to assess the situation. He was very professional and explained what needed to be done to keep the flooding from occurring again. His no nonsense approach was refreshing. The work could not begin until October due to the volume of calls they received throughout the summer and early fall. Our project was done over a four day span beginning October 29th. The supervisor of the project, Demetrius, has been terrific to work with. The foreman of the crew was Joe Lewis. Brian Swain, Cody Crenshaw, Rudy Gonzales and Wesley Smoot did an incredible job of installing a system that has kept us dry throughout the heavy rains since the work was completed. It is a disruptive process, but Joe made sure things were done right and explained what they were doing throughout the job. As with any large project, issues arose that needed attention. Nicole, Jamie and Heather who are in the office, were extremely helpful in responding to concerns that surfaced during the scheduled work. Jamie helped with securing the final inspection and we are very pleased with the quality of work and the crew that installed the system. It is not an inexpensive project, but we feel that it has been well worth it. JES has a reputation of doing quality work and they stand by their installation. We definitely would recommend them for waterproofing needs.

I spent closer to $200,000 for this project. They didn't want me to buy my own materials, but they were using builder grade materials. Instead I had the contract say that I would pay for the labor and purchase my own finishing materials, instead of doing "turn-key." They didn't adequately do the work. They didn't even complete the work. They left a failed inspection and I had to hire another company to come in and clean up their mess.

We really liked Carlos but Carlos had forgotten his tarps on the day he sanded our floor and the fine sawdust from sanding the floor was EVERYWHERE.   All over the bar in our basement, stemware, walls, shelving, EVERYWHERE.  We had also just had new carpet put down and the sawdust was all over the new carpet.  Carlos did his hurried best to wipe things down but in no manner did he capture even half the sawdust.  We hired a cleaning service to come and clean up the mess and Bob Anderson was noncommital and frankly did not care about the fine sawdust damages which caused us headaches and extra expenditures.  While we would hire Carlos again in a minute and provide him with tarps, we would hesitate to use Bob Anderson.  Particularly as we were later informed by Carlos that Bob had misled him into believing we did not pay the balance of the bill for the extra square footage due to the sawdust.  We had to provide Carlos with information proving we had paid Anderson so the matter could be handled in small claims court.

From the first time my wife and I met with John Stageberg, my wife and I knew we had found the right contractor for the job.  To say that the design phase of our remodel was long would be an understatement.  However, John was extremely patient with us and very accommodating. He was always there to lend input when needed and never tried to push anything on us.  He was also very conscious of our budget concerns and did his very best to keep us within it.  I can honestly say that John was the utmost pleasure to work with.  He truly made us feel as though we were dealing with a friend rather than just a business person.  He is  an extremely pleasant-natured gentlemen that we could just as easily see ourselves going out and having a beer with as having him build our dream kitchen.
Being a do-it-yourself kind of person, I naturally wanted to try and take on some of the work.  In this case, I was in charge of the demolition phase.  Unfortunately, at one point, I had a mishap with the ceiling and a true mess was the result.   This mishap involved lots of sheet rock and insulation; neither in the places they should be.  I contacted John after the incident occurred only to get some advice on how to proceed.  I was fully expecting to make the repairs to the ceiling myself.  However, when John heard of the incident, he and his construction manager took time out their schedules the next morning to come over and repair the damage to the ceiling.  I cannot express how much this was appreciated.  This incident  was also the first time I was able to meet our construction manager, Lance Rittenhouse.  As with John, Lance was another gem to work with.  The honesty and integrity of these two gentlemen and the job they do just cannot be expressed enough.  Lance was always extremely informative and walked us through every stage of our construction.
I wish I could say that our construction went by without issue, but unfortunately there were some bumps along the way.  Most of the bumps were minor, a couple were a bit more serious in nature.  The more serious of the problems occurred during our cabinet installation and some poor workmanship in that regard.  However, rather than diving into the minute details of these issues, I would rather concentrate on how these issues were handled.  To me this is how a business is defined.  We are all human, nobody is perfect, and in my life I have come to realize that it is a real rarity when a project completes without issue.  Forme, it is how the issues that arise are dealt with that makes me want to do business with a company again.  EVERY issue that arose during the remodel of our kitchen was handled honestly and with professionalism from both John and Lance.  They went out of their way to ensure that everything was to my utmost satisfaction, performing the work themselves if needed.  It is this type of dedication to there work and striving for complete satisfaction that sets Lakewood Home Builders apart from the other contractor's in my area.   This is why I know exactly who I will be contacting when my next big project comes along.  Thank you, John, Lance and the rest of the Lakewood Home Builders team!   Until next time...

The workman showed up at the appointed time and place and I assume did what was needed on the septic system.  The order was to perform an inspection of the septic system and test of the well for the sale of the property.  The workman assured me this was routine for his company and that reports would be sent to the title company.  The report on the well never made it to the title company.  After many phone calls, I had to actually go to the ghetto office and inquire about it.  A smart aleck clerk refused to help me and asked me to leave the office.
    Don't use this company.

I have used LPR in the past and very much appreciate their responsiveness. Yes, they do cost a bit more, but the company is small, well-managed and very easy to contact. The service is catered to your needs and the owner always takes the time to walk through available options without pressure to take one option over another. I have never had to wait for more than a day to get a response to an inquiry. It's a family run business and the way they handle clients shows such. They are very organized and professional. LPR showed up exactly on time for both the estimate and the service. The extra cost is well worth the piece of mind for using the company.

We purchased a home with a rehab loan and the home needed a new septic system.  Triple R completed all the install and work on time with no issues. We had a couple post install issues with septic alarm, they came out Immediately, found no issues and there for us.  I would use them again.
