    FAT FROGS BIKE & FITNESS
Fat Frogs is the go to company for bike repair and fitness equipment. Their customer service is second-to-none, and prices are more than reasonable. I recommend them without reserve.

    Anytime Fitness
Beware of signing a contract. It is a yearly contract. It takes 30 days to get out of their system. During that time they can still charge you. I was charged a $25 yearly maintenance (for next year) fee even though I had cancelled, but wasn't out of the 30 period. I will never go back even if it is free.

The truth is in the name! I suffer through a spreadsheet worth of chronic medical problems! I saw a promotion on Facebook for a couple classes with free gloves for a small amount of money. I immediately knew that I wanted to give this a chance. Today was my first class and It Was. Awesome! Every exercise had an easier modification if I felt that I needed it. I am EXTREMELY proud to say that I didn't need to use many modifications. My trainer was excellent. When I felt like maybe I couldn't do any more combos....both his cheering and encoragement kept me going. At any point that I needed a water break or a short rest I was given it with ZERO feeling of judgement. :D Before we started the training session my trainer and I went over all my medical challanges and what I hoped to gain from my workouts. I told him that I wanted and needed to feel like the old me. The me I was before my medical problems. That I wanted to be the mom & wife who can do everything my family wants to do....without having them to make modifications. I KNOW this was just the first day. I know todays session happened to have caught me on a "feel good" day. I know all this, but today for the first time in 20 years I felt like the real Michelle that has been hiding behind my illnesses! Today I Was Strong And Fierce Again! I truly cannot thank this family enough for what they have given me today!

    FITNESS SHOP EXERCISE EQUIPMENT REPAIR
After a few years of non-use, we decided to get our Bowflex treadill repaired. I saw the Fitness Shop van in my area, wrote down the phone number and contacted them based on their outstanding ratings, Dave called me back promptly that night and told me exactly what parts I needed and where to get them, He came right out and got my treadmill operational again. The walking belt and pully belt only cost $140 and Dave's service charge was an additional $110 which I felt was a small price to pay to get our expensive treadmill back in service.

    FITNESS SHOP EXERCISE EQUIPMENT REPAIR
Very professional service. Quick and efficient. Initial visit service charge $65 was worth it to determine if worth repairing. Part plus installation of $350 was worth paying to repair because we like this model very much and think we it will get us a few more years. It would have been much more expensive to purchase a new one and disposing of large items is not that easy.

ILKB provides the best workout! The instructors at the Chesapeake location are encouraging, helpful, and keep things fun. They take the time to teach proper technique and provide modifications if you need them. In addition to ensuring that I get a great workout in each class, the instructors take the time to get to know me. They know me by name on the mat, and they know my goals and show interest in my progress.

    Premier Health Chiropractic
I was getting daily deep tissue massages to help ease the pain, I couldn't sleep, could hardly straighten my back, etc. In less than a year, I'm limber again and have spring in my step. My low back pain is just about non-existent and my headaches and nech pain are nearly there as well. I get super excited for my appointments because I know how great I'll feel when I leave.

    I Love Kickboxing
I absolutely love this place. It's been a lifelong struggle of finding the right fit with gyms and honestly, I love hitting stuff and always have, but I have some injuries so fighting gyms are a bit much for me. This is what I think of as the perfect medium. It's contact hitting so you hit the bags and learn punches and two types of kicking, which I prefer over a regular gym's cardio kickboxing class, but not as fighting intensive as MMA/Boxing gyms. I describe the membership and gym style as similar to a yoga studio. It's 100% class based and kickboxing exclusive, as well as fairly similar pricing. Now I'll try to touch on things I read in the other reviews. Instructors/Owners: They are all very very nice. I never had any trouble with feeling out of place here. They motivate and cheer often, BUT they don't do the "Tear you down to build you up" thing that "boot camp" classes do. You know, the trainers who they assume they know how you live your life and yell at you for it? They don't do it and it's WONDERFUL. I have yet to meet someone I don't like. That goes for people in my classes as well, everyone's all been very nice. Parking: It's part of a strip mall so there's tons of shared parking. I've never had a problem and I typically go 3-4 times a week. Facilities: There is one large mat that is only used for classes. It's a special anti-microbial mat since all the classes are barefoot and have some ground work during cardio. It has give which is great for my injuries, I haven't had many flare up problems. The locker rooms are itty bitty. There's not much anyone can do about that now, so just be prepared. No showers, a lovely basket full of helpful toiletries if needed, and two bathrooms that have been spotless whenever I've gone in. The Paper Form: I'm seeing complaints about the form. It's fairly basic and mostly it's about you and not about what they need to know, except for the injuries part. If you have injuries you should be telling people ahead of time anyway. The forms are for your goals and to make yourself aware of what gets in the way. It's also a small ice breaker for that trainer can chat with you a bit before you start. I have a feeling they don't do the full fitness assessment because part of their market are those of us who get really uncomfortable with that. They focus on fun, strength, and how your clothes fit.  Oh! If you use wraps and don't know how to use them, get to class early and a trainer will show you how. I, personally, liked finding youtube videos on it so I could make sure I had it right well before I even went in. Classes: The classes are intense. Don't pick a bag in the corner because that's where the speakers for the music are and it is LOUD. The first 15 minutes are the intense cardio time and the worst part, once you're through that it's bag work and just delightful. There is always one instructor and one assistant. They spend one minute explaining the drill. The music is off during this part so I'm not sure why someone had trouble hearing. Feel free to move closer during the instruction part if that is the case, though. After that minute you start the drill to music, while they walk around. If you didn't process the drill (I do that sometimes) feel free to ask again. They never roll their eyes or get mad at you for not knowing. While they watch you, they're looking at your technique and deciding how best to help you with it. You can even ask for them to watch so you can make sure you're doing it right. I'm very comfortable in this class and that is very rare for me.  BRING LOTS OF WATER---- but they do have fountains and water to buy if necessary **I wanted to add. Yes the majority of attendees are female but I have had guys in my class several times and they did great. So if you're male, you're definitely welcome to join up!!
