    Gary did fine work for a period of time , but as his business grew he tride to fit me in schedule at his convenience. Got a text late the night before he planned to come. We parted ways when I insisted on more notice. In addition he never bothered to let me know if he could not make it when he did give me an earlier notification. 125

    He's quite good. I just called them and asked whether they'd be back. Their prices are very reasonable. Occasionally I have them do other things, like cutting down a tree or other things. The workers are very professional and very willing to be cooperative. It's a family business. It's a man, his son and his grandsons. The grandfather is really good at tree cutting. He can cut a tree and make it fall on a dime, if that's what you want. They have good equipment. They have a bunch of mowers and string trimmers. They do good work and they care about what they're doing. They're also reasonably priced.

    Augusta Equipment sells and services New Holland tractors.  They  picked up my tractor in the beginning of the week to determine causes for loss of adequate power for heavy jobs.. I requested they let me know when they determine the cause of the loss of power before proceeding to other cosmetic improvements I wanted done.  The following day I called late in the afternoon to inquire whether they could provide any information on what the tractor needed.  They told me they just pulled the tractor in the shop and were evaluating it now I asked them to call when they knew something. But not having heard from them in 24 hours I called again and was told they were about ready to pull the tractor in the shop! So I guess the story from the day before was not true. I allowed days to pass waiting for them to call, but I never got a call.  By the beginning of the following week I called again. This time I was told the fellow working on my tractor would call me as soon as he came back in the shop. At this time I have no idea of needed repair, how much had been done, or the cost!  I did learn that there was dirt in the fuel tank  which is something I suspected since I previously lost the fuel cap while bush hogging but  did not realize it for hours.  The next day I spoke to a manager they call "BUMPER".  I explained to him that  none of my three requests for a call were honored even though I had been assured each time someone would call me.   Bumper excitedly told me that they could not spend all their time on the phone or they would have to charge way more then I wanted to pay.  I said but they have not called me once! You have had the tractor over a week  and all I know for sure is there was dirt in the tank which is something I suspected but  I have never been given an estimate of the cost or a complete list of the problems.  He got irate and told me he would get an estimate.  Of course he did not get an estimate.  He did call back to rant how the fuel tank was filthy.  The first I was given an estimate was over two weeks from the time they got the tractor and Bumper called to let me know the tractor was ready.   So over $2000 of repairs were done without telling me anything.  Their philosophy is we will repair your tractor and you will pay whatever we decide after the job is done. My car dealer would not think of doing anything like that.  They provide the cost before any service is done.  Not these guys! Their idea of customer service is we will fix it when we are good and ready and it will be right but don't bug us for any information. Even after I was told my tractor was done it took 2 days for them to deliver it and no invoice showing what was done came with it. 

    I have not put the tractor under a heavy load condition since it has been returned, but I do believe they checked the horse power  and made sure that is up to specification.  I will know for sure in the Spring when I need to bush hog 36 acres.  Unless there is a change in management there I would not consider using August Equipment for service work.

    It was a great job. He made the gravel deep enough so that it keeps weeds from sprouting. It was done in one afternoon. I was really pleased and have had no problem with this area since it was done.

    The bathroom was more beautiful and functional than I could have imagined.  This is an old house and much time had to be spent leveling the floor and walls.  The tall ceiling was lowered, the tub was removed for a full, walk-in, accessible shower and bathroom with grab bars, a custom cabinet and hamper were installed, and ADA accessible toilet and accessible sink.  Despite the accommodations, the room looks as though it belongs in a spa!  The floor and walls are tiled, we have an adjustable shower head with hand held options, built in tile seat, and 2 built in cubbies for his and her shampoo, etc.  We could not have been happier with the work.
