    Project was only a 900 sq foot garage. They promised work would be done in 2 to 3 weeks. It was 6 weeks before started and 7 weeks before compleyed. The estimator promised plywood but sent OSB and he ordered the wrong color shingles. Company was only pro active to give quote and ask for payment. I had to press the issue to get materials delivered and work scheduled. After I told them it was taking too long to get started and that I did not want their service anymore they pulled a roofer off of a bigger job. He left his crew on the big job and came with just himself and his girlfriend. It took 4 days of working only a few hours each day and then a week to come back and try to correct trimming the edges. Completed work was sub standard, roof edge trimmings are still uneven on all 4 sides and and not straight line cuts even after roofer returned to fix. When I sent pictures of the poor work to go the estimator he did not see the problem, I had to really explain what was wrong. Twice I sent an email to CEO Mr Fritz but he has still not given me the courtisey of a reply to address my concerns.

    After some strong wind gusts that accompanied all of the rain we've had, a slow leak developed on my back porch. I called Eric Gray/Gray Contracting as we'd had a conversation about what materials should be used for a flat roof when he had done some work for me earlier this year. He came out to check the roof which had an odd-shaped tear in the membrane, and tonight, brought the appropriate materials to repair it. Easy to work with, accommodating, knowledgeable.

    1) the company is named Tech Advantage. While the phone number is okay - there is no one named Andy there. This is a service out of Alexandria, Va with local technicians. 2) When I made contact, I became a bit uncomfortable when I determined this contact wasn't as presented. I specifically told and quot;Micheleand quot; to have the tech call and talk to me before I decided what to do. I also specified that I was going to be leaving the house in about 1/2 hour. She told me she would get the tech to call immediately. That didn't happen. Instead, he called and talked to someone else in the house and made arrangements to come and pick up the computer. My husband was left with the impression that I had already approved this. I had no intentions of letting the computer leave my home since I had a great deal of financial and personal information for the organization that employed me. I would not have had the computer leave my possession but would have paid the additional cost to have the work done at my home under my supervision. As it turned out, the tech did get the bulk of the problems fixed but had to set with me to get the internet connections and virus protection set up again.
    I am not sure where the work was actually performed but I think the technician took my computer to his home.

    Our Kenmore range went crazy on Saturday night, November 16th; when it was turned on at 350 degrees, it came on and did not turn off and started flashing F10! We called the Sears number provided in our manual which it said to call if you get any and quot;Fand quot; error message. The person could not tell us what the message meant and could only offer to send s repairman on December 2nd! We went to the Sears store on Monday evening and talked with a representative who told us the error message meant and quot;runaway oven temperatureand quot; and that the electronic oven control (EOC) would need to be replaced. They could not do this until December...after Thanksgiving!
    So Tuesday morning we called Ed Hawkins, Inc. not even sure if they worked on ranges, but the person who took the call was very knowledgeable about the problem we were having and said that they could repair it Thursday afternoon! And they did! They were right on time, extremely efficient and professional and fast! While he was at our house, we happened to ask about the non-working ice maker on our freezer, which a plumber had told us was not working because we didn't have sufficient water pressure. He took a quick look at it, told us that the module was bad and he had one on his truck, so he fixed that too! I was elated! Very, VERY pleased with Ed Hawkins! I will recommend them highly and definitely call them again!

    Called to see if they would even come out for an estimate since we live a long way from town in the mountains ( lots of people won't even come out because of the distance). They did charge by mile increments and I was charged exactly what she estimated for the service charge. I was given a time frame for his arrival and he was exactly on time. He came in and found the problem and showed me where the leaks were specifically. He was able to modify the water line (no new parts or cost) and he was able to replace the valve after attempting to fix it first. He worked quickly and was extremely pleasant and professional.
