Before the truck picked up the equipment I found a broken bolt on the leaf blower and a flat tire on the front of the lawn mower. I put the broken bolt in a plastic bag and attached it to the handle of the blower. When the equipment was picked up, I notified the driver of the bolt and flat tire. I got the equipment back the following week. I was not home so I had them leave the equipment in my backyard. When I attempted to move the equipment, I found the lawn mower tire still flat. I inspected it and found a nail in the tire. I ended up having to go to local hardware store to get a patch kit that solved the problem. I can't understand why Burchett's did not address the flat tire on the mower when it was in for service. It was a very obvious problem that a repair expert should have seen and was also clearly communicated to the truck driver when the equipment was picked up. Burchett's did repair the broken bolt on the leaf blower. The receipt indicated the broken part was attached to the unit. I think both the person who picked up the equipment and the repair technician should have done more. If the driver had instructed me to call the office to let them know about the tire and bolt issues, I would have done that. But, he just acknowledged the problem, loaded the equipment, and drove off. The work that was done seems to have been done well. I hope the owner reads this message and works towards improving the overall service quality.

The whole transaction was very smooth.  They arranged to have my mower picked up and within a day they had diagnosed and repaired the faulty starter motor.  It was returned two days from when they picked it up.  Total cost was about $200, which included the cost of the pick and delivery.  I thought it was going to cost much more and take longer, so overall I'm very pleased.

The muffler on my Briggs and Stratton engine mower broke off. I took the part in for replacement. Mr. Azeri did not have a new one in stock but found a used one I bought for five dollars. Forty five minutes later I had the replacement on the mower and it sounded great. (He also advised me on removing the broken portion of the muffler from the engine). I did the work but his resourcefulness
    made it possible.

They told me it was a very busy time and repair would take 2 weeks, but it was done in 10 days. All repairs done as promised and the machine has been running fine since then.  The price was reasonable ($155) just about what I expected. Very courteous service both on the phone and in person, and a man helped me load and unload the heavy machine from my car. I would definitely rely on them in the future for lawnmower or any small engine work.

The original order to their Honda parts supplier was somehow lost so they had to reorder. The replacement part came within a week as they promised it would and they said the original order issue was due to a renumbering of the part number by their supplier. My mower is about 10 years old so I think that is understandable. They installed it for me first thing on a Saturday morning as I waited without need for an appointment. The installation time was about 15 mins, which was very acceptable to me. Price was around $50 for part and labor which I again deem as reasonable. I also dropped off my weed eater blower which was having start-up issues and I asked for a repair estimate. I received the honest estimate in the promised 1-week time frame and we both agreed for what needed to be done and the cost to do so, I could buy a new blower,
I will definitely go back to them again with my small engine needs. I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. The owner and employees ar very professional, fair and competent.

The people were knowledgeable and courteous. They helped me get the mower to and from the car, a definite plus for the elderly or infirm. I was initially quoted about $79, but the blade replacement and other issues pushed up the price. The mower runs very well now. I was surprised by how many other mowers were there for repair, many of them Husquevarna. I would use them again without a second thought.
Only one issue which has less to do with Burchetts and more to do with Google maps. It sent me to completely the wrong location and was forced to try the trip again with my GPS. I am not the first person to experience this problem as Burchetts told me of a few other people being directed wrongly.
Angie's List might want to contact Google Maps.

Customer service was excellent. The estimated time for repair was 3 weeks. They did it in 2 weeks and the machine now runs like new. Cost was fair and the service was unusually friendly and prompt.

I have used Knabe to service all my law equipment. The latest was an 18 year old Lawn Boy push mower. It was smoking and not running well. Knabe gave it a full tune up and it runs great now. (about $65). I have another lawn boy push mower about 10 years old Knabe did a tune up and that machine runs great now (about $65). It took them about a week to get the mowers done. They also tuned up and replaced the fuel line and primer bulb on my Echo weed eater. Tuned up my echo back pack blower. All work is done well. No problems with anything. During the busy times of the year it might be 1 - 2 weeks from drop off to pick up. The shop is busy, but they have excellent techs, good customer service and can order parts you need. I have also taken my John Deere ridding mower to them for a tune up and belt replacement. Much cheaper than going to the John Deere Dealer!

Based on time of year mower brought in, got two day prompt service: cleaned carb., got new air filter and plug, changed oil, sharpened and balanced blade, and test ran. Brought in for no other repairs and no other repairs necessary.
