    James River Neurology
I’ve seen the physician’s assistant and she was okay.  She did a biopsy, which was negative.  I was assured that she was trained, but she is a physician’s assistant, not a doctor.  I was told that if I had to have surgery, then I would follow up with the doctor, but I didn’t need surgery, so I didn’t get to see the doctor. Otherwise, they followed up well and gave me the results of the biopsy quickly.  The only negative thing is I wish I had known up-front that I was not going to see the doctor, then I could have made either alternate arrangements or waited or made another appointment.

It was excellent. She burned off everything that needed to be burned off. As you get older you may need some stuff to be done. I've got no complaints about them. In fact she dealt with a situation that I couldn't get anyone else to do before.

I went to see Dr. Suzanne Peck because I had a very itchy rash that was covering my entire torso. I had been to my primary doctor and he did not know what it was. He referred me to a dermatologist who he thought would be able to see me pretty quickly. I called that office and was given an appt. with a nurse practitioner because the Dr. did not have any appointments available. The nurse practitioner had no idea what the rash was either. Her prescribed treatment did not help. I decided to make an appt. with Richmond Dermatology at my husband's suggestion. I was given an appt. with Dr. Peck. I had to wait a few weeks to get in to see her but it was worth it. She knew what the rash was right away. Simple eczema. She gave me a prescription that cleared it up in a few days. She explained the cause and answered some questions that I had about other skin issues. She was very helpful.

My experience with her was okay.  I think she is a good dermatologist but I didn't feel like she really discussed the new technology and all that.  She was like, well you can do with this medicine but it's really not that bigger the deal but for me it was a big deal.

    Bohannon-Grant, Dr. Jo
The office is very efficient. You do not wait a long time and they are very friendly. The procedure was quick and I was finished in less than 45 minutes from signing in at the front desk to making my next appointment.

    Bohannon-Grant, Dr. Jo
During the childrens' teenage years, Dr. Bohannon-Grant saw them as needed to prescribe medications for their specific problems. I had treatments for spider veins and have had body scans for potential skin cancer problems, including removal of some problem areas and moles.
