AKuhlman Lawn ServiceThese folks are top-notch. My yard was a bit of a mess after a patio project that left mounds of dirt by the tree line in the backyard. Also, the yard runs wet anyway with a natural creek that runs through the property. JD, the owner, came out to estimate what re-grading the yard would cost so that the water could be diverted away from the house. He was thorough, professional, down to earth and honest. The bid was reasonably priced and I appreciated having options: he gave me various estimates for less versus more work. Ultimately, I decided to do everything at once so that I could put any potential drainage issues to rest. The team came out as scheduled and they handled it all very well and efficiently. They definitely knew what they were doing and they instilled me with confidence from the start. The project took a day and a morning, and my yard is now BEAUTIFUL. I am so glad the boys can play in what was a mud pit. And now we all can appreciate the landscape without having to worry about water being where it's not supposed to be. ALegend Lawn Care, LLCI have a large yard about .75 acre and needed help with leaves this year. Legend responded to my request with an emailed estimate and scheduled to perform the work within a few days. The work was done well and on the day scheduled. AWe hired E T General Contractor (formerly known as E T Landscaping & Lawn Care, Inc.) to clean up the wooded area of our backyard. We needed to remove dead trees, prune other trees, remove the underbrush, and plant new trees and shrubs and mulch the area. We contacted 3 companies - one never responded, another made an appointment and never showed up, and the third was Julio who was very responsive from the beginning and met with us within 24 hours of connecting. He is very knowledgeable about landscaping and made suggestions for trees that would work well in our yard. He also took our preferences into consideration, as well as keeping in mind what would work best for our family. He was quick to address any issues that came up. We found his pricing to be very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of work that was put into the project. We have had landscaping and tree work done at a previous house, and his pricing was better than the previous company we used (a major company in the area). He and his team were very reliable and take a lot of pride in the work that they do. We are very happy with their work and have hired them for other projects, as well as recommended them to everyone we know who needs work done.

AGreat! We had a bit of a mess in our backyard: overgrown bushes, ivy and weeds everywhere, huge logs from a tree that was cut down years ago, crete myrtles that needed to reduce in size, and a fair sized dead tree that needed to be taken down. In the front we had some unruly azaleas and a weeping cherry tree that hung so low it was like going through nature's beaded curtain to get from the sidewalk to the house. I called Merino Landscaping on a Friday and spoke to Mr. Merino himself. Great timing because he was able to come out that afternoon (and wore a mask since we're still dealing with Covid-19 risks) to see what we needed and give us an estimate on the spot. We were very happy with the quote, which seemed reasonable and competitive. The Merino crew came the next Monday and did a great job. I had a little more ivy I wanted out and a couple more bushes to trim and they sent a couple guys out the next day to get it all done. They were on time, fast, efficient, affordable, easy to reach, and left no debris or mess. This is one of the easiest companies to deal with. Texts to Mr. Merino were quickly responded to. I will not think twice about using Merino Landscaping again for future needs.

ASo far, I only had Better Lawn Service 3 times. Two mowings and one grub control. The mowings were excellent in my view. They collect the clippings so not to leave thatch behind and suffocate the lawn. This practice may not be popular to some homeowners or companies. But no matter how you slice or dice it, it is a fact that accumulation of grass clippings would eventually overwhelmed the lawn. The few points that I want to stress are: 1) Pat, the owner, does come around to check your lawn before giving an estimate. In my case, since the grass was not mowed for a long time, Pat initially thought that it would cost $$$$ for the initial mow but he said he would check the lawn out first. After checking the lawn, the cost turned out to be $$ only. Now that is an honest and ethical way of doing business. No blanket statement. 2) The crew applied the grub control with full consideration of the following facts: a) after a mowing, b) before the rain forecast. The thoughtfulness that blew me off was: they knew that I am unable to immediately water in the grub control chemical, so they applied it the day before the rain arrived. You cannot expect a more ethical, thoughtful and customized service than this. Last but not least, when I initially approached Pat to start his mowing service, I might have said something that may trigger him to think that I need quick service without delay. So he even referred me to his colleague. He was trying to help his colleague boost up his young mowing company. Pat was conscious of the quality of service that he provides: he does not want to be overwhelmed with work that the quality of his work decreases. You cannot go wrong with Better Lawn Service.
