A diagnosis of glaucoma can be traumatic, and Dr. Michael did not relate well to an upset patient. He was very cold and frightening. However, I have since gone back to his office several times for testing only, so that experience was never repeated. Dr. Hobbs is very good with patients, and so are the staff. The practitioners who do the testing are excellent. They are an extremely busy practice, and one can't just call them for an appointment, because they don't have enough staff to answer phones. Somebody has to call you back. If you find this bothersome I would recommend using a practice with more staff.

Plan on at least a two hour wait to be seen for your scheduled appointment. This was my fourth visit and none of them was I seen by the doctor in less than two hours. The last appointment I left after 90 minutes. Between the ambivalence and attitude of the techs and the unreasonable long waiting it's absolutely the worst healthcare experince I've ever encountered. Of course there's not much one can do about it except what I'm doing now but they don't really care because they know they're the only retina specialists around. It's not like you can go find another one in this area.

My experience there was fine. The doctor I had was very professional. She did a good job checking me for glaucoma and any other eye disease. I actually saw a female doctor there, she's fairly new there. She was very friendly and talkative.

He's very efficient. I think he's very knowledgeable. Good bedside manner. He did a good job which was a major thing because I had a lot of cancer there, I never realized. They had to remove a lot of, the tissue on my lower eyelid, over the eye hairs are. All got removed, believe it or not. They're very professional. They do what's on their schedule. They have the latest equipment. It's very full service. It is a good place to go. I think they have a good reputation. I'll probably have them for an eye exam.

It didn't go so great. There was a very long wait time and I had explained the time constraints of my schedule and they said that it would be fine making it to work. But there was such a long wait time and they never said anything about me having to wait afterward and it made me late to work.
