We had a flooding issue with previous sidewalk. Mr. Williams and his crew put in a beautiful new sidewalk with proper drainage and we had incredibly hard rains a few days ago and our sidewalk did not flood at all. We are completely satisfied with Mr. Williams and his crew. Job well done.

Of all the contractors I've had do work on my home in the past 16 yr., A. W. Masonry & Restoration is one of the very best. Mr. Williams is very professional, responsive, courteous and competent. His brick layer has 38 yr. of experience, as I recall, and has managed very large construction jobs in the past. The crew were punctual and very easy to work with; e.g., they were generous in determining how much of the old mortar to replace. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this contractor to others.

AMAZING! I cannot say enough about how fantastic Alan and his team were. They were on-time and even more importantly exceeded my expectations in terms of the final product. I get compliments on their work all the time.

David presented himself as a master mason. I'm sure he may be good as a brick mason, but he also presented himself as someone who knew how to do paver walks. He brought his crew, and began the work. I'm sure there are many ways to do pavers, but one thing I have read in every case is that a good base is needed. My wife asked about the base and was told that that would take time! He did tamp the ground well, and put down approximately 2" of granite dust (great stuff.) Rather than dig out a base, he took some old bricks and pavers we had (used with our permission) and laid them down first in mortar as a base, He was also putting the border pavers in mortar. As his crew began laying down the pavers, We noticed that they weren't straight, nor level. The man putting down the pavers in the center of the walk was trying to level them by eye, tapping the pavers with his with his rubber mallet as he went along, rather that leveling the sand first and just laying them down gently. The pavers are keyed so they will be put down in the right direction, insuring straight lines. The crew were acting as if hey had never seen a paving brick. The next day when they came, we pointed out the un-level  un un-straight lines. He charged us over $1000 that we were foolish enough to pay for the work he had done. I look back and realized never should have paid for the shoddy work that was done. After we dismissed him and his crew, we ended up removing all that he had done, put down and tamped a good 6" base, then put down the granite dust, and did the work ourselves. He wasted about 50 bricks that are covered or stained with mortar.

    Advanced Landscape Solutions
First of all took over six months to get started on the project. The first two start dates we were given, no one from
Advanced showed up or call.  In hind sight we should have gotten our money back.
Steps and  Eagle Bay pavers were improperly installed. We had a representative from Eagle Bay come out and he confirmed the poor installation in a written letter.
Iron hand railings are still not supported to lower step.
Very sloppy curbstone work and water ponding on two areas of walkway.

The excavating and grading of the yard left hundreds of roots protruding through the ground throughout the yard. This caused another unsafe condition.

No lime or fertilizer was put down.
We have many pictures, video and emails. We already have a lawyer and are taking this to court.
Finally when they came out to do the repairs the foreman on the job told us we had unrealistic expectations and the workmanship on all the sloppy mortar between curbstones was acceptable.  After this he called Kenny and was told to leave and not finish any repairs. After talking to the owner Kenny, he said "He was not coming back and to "Do What You Have To Do"

Top of the LIne Masonry, LLC
I have delayed in writing because the owner was lovely and it makes me feel bad to say anything.  However, my wall is literally ruined.  I wish I could show a picture.  Neighbor watched and said there was no rebar, as promised.  No concrete was put under the wall, it was poured literally in a clump over the top of the grass - no preparation, nothing.  They worked just a few hours and stopped.  Later, I noticed that the blocks that were supposed to be replaced on the wall, were actually removed from another spot in our yard, instead of being brought in.  People actually ride by and point or ask us why on earth we would even do that.  I made it clear, more than one time, that the wall was a very important asthetic of our home and I was devastated.
Our water was left on in our backyard until a family member found it - it was fully wide open running and had been at least a few hours; our gate was left open; our dog was gone, of all of which I did notify them.
I did call when we saw how bad the work looked, to ask if the owner was even on the job when it was done; he was not.  The owner then came out and either instructed or did the work himself on the remaining portion of the wall, which turned out ok.  It is literally ruined and would cost a FORTUNE to fix.  About a week after, I got another bill for around $600 more (if I am remembering correctly).  In fact, we have been really on the fence about taking this to court to get the money back or the wall repaired.
There you go - now you do not have to keep sending emails asking about our experience.

My home is 25 years old and they did an excellent job of matching my bricks and the mortar so that when the repair was done, it looked like it blended well.  They showed up on time and they did the demo work and took extra care to clean up after themselves and started and finished the job when they said they would.  The foreman was sure to meet with me and he wanted all of my feedback.  He wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied before he would accept payment.  The price didn't change and stayed true to his quoted price.  They exceeded my expectations.

The suggested engineer was very professional and helpful.  Communication with contractor was excellent, work was performed quickly and in a very professional manner. Clean up was excellent. Special attention to shrubs by the foundation so they would not be harmed. Nice work.

Lupe (Willow Landscaping) was the first to respond to our quote request and the first to provide an estimate.  The estimate was the lowest and the most complete estimate that we received.  The work provided was exceptional and we are extremely pleased with the results.  They exceeded our expectations and we plan on using them again.

It went extremely well. Mr. Bagwell responded promptly to my request to visit my home to view the front porch. He was very responsive and professional in his demeanor and approach to the work. He assured me of quality workmanship and I received just that. He was prompt to the work site each morning and cleaned up the area before leaving each day. He fulfilled what he promised by way of excellence workmanship and service. I will not hesitate to recommend him to my friends. I am very pleased with the job!
