    Rick's Tire And Auto
They're very honest. They're never going to screw you over, they will get you in when they say they can, and sometimes, if things go wrong, they will be there to back you up. I would tell others that the work they have done for me is excellent. I would trust these guys to cook my dinner and walk my dog. They care about their customers. It's old community style, they do a good job for the people they serve.

    Duffy's Repair Service INC
I use a place called Duffy's Repair Service.  I was there this past Monday.  I went to a muffler shop after that and they told me I had a belt that needed changed.  I then went back to Duffey's and told them about it and he said this belt doesn't need changed.

Everything went great. I received a call about 30 minutes before they showed up to let me know they were on their way. Troy showed up and was extremely nice, professional, and respectful. The work was done in about an hour and looks great. They were not the cheapest shop in town but we also not the most expensive. I will definitely use them again, the service is worth the price.

    Air Park Auto Service
    1. Checked fuel filter and intake for issues, none found.
    2. Checked exhaust for issues, had to remove catalytic converter to the tune of $350, no issues.
3, Checked the timing, it was off, then needed to check the crankshaft woodruff key for issues, it was bad and I was told the engine needed replacement. I asked the engine be reassembled and they Google and perform a '1990 Mazda Miata Locktite fix'., that cost me another $350.
So essentially, I paid $739 for diagnostics and a patch to get my car back home.
For another $2986, I could get  the engine replace with an unwarranted engine, decided to pass.  Time to shop elswhere.

Simple Inspect & Oil Change - No Problem:
We have used this company on and off (more 'on' than 'off') for over 7 years.  We were pretty happy for most of that time, so do not want to give a bad review, necessarily, however do want to be honest.  The last service we had was simply an inspection and oil change [$16 =inspection & approx. $30 = oil change (w/coupon + they take on chrg for disposal, etc...)].
    Past Problem:
One of the issues we had was with a major car repair we needed approximately 6-9 months ago.  My husband, while picking up one of our other vehicles explained the issue my car was having and what we had been told when the vehicle was getting a recall item replaced at the dealership (they wanted to also fix this other problem, but it was so expensive, that he thought it would be less if we took it to Seredini) & we wanted their opinion and help.  The gentleman/mechanic explained that it may not need everything the dealership discussed and that they could try a 'simple' fix first & that if it did need what they said, he would not charge near as much as we were quoted at the dealership for it.
A few days later my husband brought the vehicle up to them, to see if they could try the more inexpensive repair.  Unfortunately the first person he spoke with was not there that day, so my husband proceeded to tell the other mechanic, who was taking his keys, what was wrong with the car, as well as what the other mechanic had told him regarding the simple fix. The mechanic looked at my husband like he had his head on backwards and in a miffed tone said there was no way to do it that way and that he would take a look at it and let us know.
    The Real Issue:
Now, the real issue came up when the mechanic called to let us what he wanted to do, after looking at the car.  Please keep in mind that my husband had already had the diagnostic machine connected to the car when it was at the dealership, now this mechanic tells my husband what needs to be repaired/replaced & it is exactly what my husband had told him just a few hours ago, but then he also told my husband how much it would cost.  Now, remember, the first mechanic had already told my husband that if they could not do the simple/inexpensive fix, it would cost '$X', but this other mechanic told my husband the price & it was much more than the original mechanic had quoted to fix the very same thing AND it was even more than the dealership would have charged us. So, my husband told him he would be up to get the car (because he wanted to speak with him in person).  When he arrived, he explained again the information the first mechanic had given him, including the price quoted, but the mechanic would not budge in price.  So my husband just wanted to get the car and go, only to find that we were being charged $100 for the diagnostics he said he had to connect to the car to find the problem - BUT Remember we had already had that done at the dealership - My husband had already, specifically, told him what the dealership diagnostics said and now they were charging us $100 to tell us the same thing and we still had the issue of getting the car fixed!!! Now that is the real issue.
    Mixed Feelings:
We have very mixed feelings about ever taking a car there again, however, when we needed an inspection and oil change only, we wanted it to be convenient and quick - which they are usually.  So if all you need is an inspection & oil change (but be sure to search the web for the coupon or it will be closer to $45-$50 for oil change - my daughter found out the hard way & even with coupon of $19.99 or $24.99 - it ends up closer to $30 b/c of fees that are tacked on).
    Final Thought:
For most of 6.5 yrs we would have given them a solid 4-5 star, now I would say 3-4.   If the bad experience had been our first experience ever with them, we would have never returned!  As it is now, we have mixed feelings and not sure if they will treat us honestly and fairly, so I am just being honest when I say that we are not sure if we will return when needing auto repairs.

    Rick's Tire And Auto
Ricks is by far the best repair shop I have ever used. There have been times when I have taking my car in and thought I may have a serious problem and Rick has fixed the problem for very little cost. I would not use another mechanic.

    ATLEE AUTO SVC INC

I own 5 cars, 3 kid?s cars, wife and my own. Many of them are high mileage (over 100k) so I have no shortage of work that needs to be done to cars. I have been using Atlee Auto for 15 years, and they have always treated me right. They almost always get to it the same day, even when I just drop it off unannounced, they call with an estimate, stick to the estimate, and get the job done. In 15 years and countless repairs over the years, I have never had to take a car back to them for the same issue. Prices are good, and they never try to ?up sell?, they fix what is wrong and get you back on your way.

    Hollywood Performance, Inc

I have 2005 F-150 FX4 with a Fabtech 6: lift. I brought it to Taylor because it had 80k miles on and the front Fabtech struts were worn out. Taylor told me that switching to the factory struts/springs with a big steel sleeve spacing device was the way to go and would last much longer than the more expensive Fabtech parts. Sounded good so I told him to do it. In the process he told me my ball joints Upper and lower were shot so I had him replace those as well to a tune of well over a $1000 for all the work. About 10 months later I started to notice the front ties rubbing when I was turning. While I had in the normal shop I told them to take a look for me. Upper and lower ball joints were shot (in about 12k miles and 10 months from Hollywood doing the same work) The normal shop even told me they looked new, just worn out, a symptom they said was indicative of lower quality parts.

After the normal shop put in the new ball joints, I took it back to Hollywood as I had noticed the front had sagged about 1 or so. It was 11 months, and 13k miles from when they put in the new springs that they recommended. Taylor told me the springs were indeed sagging, but that it was outside of his 12 month/12 mile guarantee so he would do the work again and be happy to charge me again for it. Then he proceeded to tell me the tires were rubbing because they were too big. These are same tires that were on the truck when he did/suggested all of the work, as well as the same size I have had on the truck  from the start, but all of the sudden, they are too big to cover his poor quality work. Would not recommend using him. He made little to no effort to make things right for me, even though I had to pay to redo all of the work he did.

    Milex Mr. Transmission
When I took car in they were able to check car out that same day. They have worked on my vehicles in the past and they have always been accomadating and very fair with pricing. I would recommend them.

Great - Our family has used Bill for 15 years - he is one of the most honest and trustworthy mechanics you will ever find. He does excellent work and is a great guy! He is very very reasonably priced and one family member drives from out of town to come to this mechanic.
