    American Restoration Service Inc
I can't say enough about ARS and highly recommend! We had some complicated mold and water issues in our new older home and we didn't realize the extent of until we had already purchased. It was a huge job that encompassed almost every room on the ground floor of our house. The repair was even more tricky because mold and chemicals make me very sick, so the remediation needed to be perfect and the repairs had to be nontoxic. From our first appointment, through a hundred plus phone calls/texts, and meetings, to follow-up, Shaun has been an outstanding partner in this process! I am very sure we couldn't have done it without him. He couples an incredible amount of knowledge about every aspect of the home with creativity and receptivity to new ideas (or requirements). He listens carefully to the customer's needs and concerns and ensures that their needs/goals are met. He is a perfectionist by nature and it always looking for ways to do things better. He is honest about pricing and helpful when it comes to discussing priorities to help me meet my budget. He has a can-do attitude and a laid back style that was such a asset in the middle of a difficult and stressful situation. Decision after decision, we found that we could trust Shaun to look out for us and give us excellent, honest advice. His team is super friendly, trust-worthy, and hard-working. All good people. I'm very happy to say that the mold remediation was 100% successful - no bad reactions any more. And everything that was removed (interior walls, studs, baseboards, trim, insulation, sheathing, wrap, siding, header, gutters) was put back just as it was or better than before. ARS are my go-to for any future issues.

    American Group Construction Inc.
Everything was excellent. Isai and his crew were on time, very professional, did all work as described and contracted for, and Isai was extremely responsive throughout. And the cost of the project was certainly more reasonable than most and I thought very fair for what we needed. I'd highly recommend Isai and his team for any job within their wheelhouse.

At some point Mr. Kehoe Working with [Information redacted] of [Information redacted]. Put in writing a threat to extort me for more than $16000 of monies not owed to any company and immediately abandoned my project when I would not acquiesce to such extortion. my home has been left exposed to the elements. The construction done to date poses a grave danger to me, my children, my pets and my property since with out paying the extorted monies mr. Kehoe, [Information redacted], [Information redacted] and Orion have abandoned my project. These people have all acted like criminals and I am in contact with the authorities to pursue any and all possible courses of criminal and civil action.

    Gutter Ethics LLC
Gutter Ethics did an excellent job at my house replacing all the gutters and fixing some rotten and falling apart siding. I called them for an estimate and they came out a few days later right on time. They did a very thorough walk around with me about what I wanted done and what I thought the issues were. They also went up on the roof for a closer look and found some rotten siding that I wasn't even aware of. I'd never been on the roof so it was very helpful and they showed me pictures and videos of the damage and recommended the appropriate fix. Got the estimate in a very timely fashion. After getting a few more quotes I went with Gutter Ethics as they had a very fair price and the interaction I had with the Owner (Justin) left me feeling the most comfortable out of all the companies I had quotes from. After a few weeks of bad weather delays, the guys came out and got to work. They were very professional and took great care in making sure everything was done properly and making the repairs look better than new. They were done in a few days and right on schedule. They left the site like they never there in terms of any debris or garbage. Very clean. All in all it was a great experience in working with Gutter Ethics. Highly recommend them and will continue to use them for any future projects.

    KCSI Construction Inc
On Friday, March 2, 2018, we were having breakfast when we saw some shingles flying off our roof due to the severe storm. While the house and roof are old, this had never happened, so we were unsure and nervous about the size of the potential ensuing damage. I immediately went online to find a roofer as I predicted that the storm would soon cut our power and internet capability off, which it did shortly afterwards. After reading up on KCSI Construction, I called and spoke with John Knowlan. The first impression is very important. He promised to come by the same day to assess the damage, which he did despite the ongoing severe storm because he wanted to assess whether a temporary tarp would be needed to prevent water leakage. He promised to put us on his schedule as soon as he could. Although the damage was not as bad as we initially thought it would be, due partly to my unfamiliarity with the roof system, John stood by his words, gave us the estimate for a repair and a replacement over the weekend, and sent his crew today, Tuesday, March 6, 2018. He told me he received some 360 calls after I called him. He could have pushed me back on his schedule to take much bigger jobs ahead if he were merely after profitability, but he did not and honored his promise. The two workers who came with him have worked with him over many years, with one working with him for close to 20 years. They did a superb job in a timely manner in repairing the damage and cleaned up perfectly. In addition, without me asking them to do this, they also nailed down some loose portion of the soffit which was within reach when they climbed the ladder, and also cleaned up some portion of the gutter which was full of debris. This was not in the original scope of work, but going this extra mile means a lot. It shows they genuinely care about their customers's house condition. If you care about integrity, honestly, and professional workmanship, it is worth trying KCSI Construction.

    Innovative Inc
This is the 3rd time I have hired Innovative. They are very responsive and professional. My home had extensive exterior damaged trim that I wanted replaced with PVC and painted. It took two days to remove, replace and repaint all the rotted and damaged trim. In some cases, the gutters had to be removed and replaced. Innovative's workers even cleaned the gutter sections before replacing.

    JW Home Improvement
Cesar and Sung were incredible. Efficient and professional from day 1. Carefully explained what needed to be done and showed me what they had done. The siding that needed to be replaced is a custom size and Cesar was able to find the right size which is not available at local stores. I appreciated that he took the initiative to locate store that carried it. Best of all they came in under estimate.

Schaefer Siding and Exteriors Company Inc.
Company did a good and efficient job replacing the siding/trim. We are happy with the work. They gave some good ideas in terms of design aspects. There were a few issues (roof shingles, trash) but the company resolved any issues we raised with them. Quoted us the best price for the work and we are happy with the overall job they did.

    Moss Building & Design
The quality of the work was good; however, construction started later than planned and the 3 month timeline became 8 months, making it nearly unbearable. The delays did not occur due to problems with construction, but due to the fact that a good 50% of the time, there was nobody working on my house. It took a good six months from the time that we signed the contract to complete design and permits and begin working on the house. For the first six weeks, it wasn't too bad. They were constructing the foundation outside and there was little disruption inside. Even at this point, they were very slow. I never got any explanation or warning that there wouldn't be workers available or that the project was delayed. I always had to follow up regarding timelines without much of any response and never an apology for the delays. In the end, I had no bedroom for about 6 months and no kitchen for 5. Pretty intolerable. They sub-contact the flooring and painting. The flooring contractor was not great. Some of the floors had to be redone due to poor workmanship. This only accounted for about a week and half of delay. The finish on the floor is poor and started to show scuffing and wear immediately. The painters did a great job, but their estimate provided no details for the scope of work and they tried to change the price in the middle. There were a few things that needed to be addressed after project completion, and they were very attentive to that. It even involved removing a pocket door that would not stay open after the initial installation. These things were scheduled and completed promptly.

    Colonial Remodeling LLC
Colonial Remodeling designed and built a beautiful portico, with suspended light and rounded bead board interior, on the front of our home.  My husband and I had wanted a portico for years, however the design of our house is unusual, and not entirely symmetrical, so we have never been able to see one on other homes that we thought would look good on our house. A few years ago we had another contractor come out and he told us it was a difficult project but he would send some sample designs; however he never did so or follow up.  We came across Colonial Remodeling at a Home & Garden Show. Representative Chas Kulbok promptly scheduled a time convenient for us to come to our home.  He provided lots of pictures of other work they had done in the area and he immediately had ideas as to what might work. Designer Christie Forbrich then met with us, at our convenience, took lots of pictures and measurements, and then produced several designs for our consideration.  The designs took into account and complemented the various roof angles, dimensions, materials, and design of our house and entryway and the preferences we had expressed. Colonial then took care of all of the permitting, brought the construction project manager out to meet and discuss the project with us, ensuring we all clearly understood the specifications, and then began the project.  My husband observed much of the construction and was impressed with the care and craftsmanship exhibited.  The end result is absolutely beautiful. The front of the house was rather bland before; the portico really adds character and design flair ("curb appeal"). The suspended light gives it a dramatic, striking appearance at night.  We have had many people comment on how beautiful it is, including people who regularly walk or jog past our home, who have stopped when they have seen me or my husband to tell us how nice it looks, and how much it adds to the design of our home.  The overall price was more than the original "ballpark" price we were given, however that was due to design choices we made and Colonial was upfront with the prices for the options and upgrades when we reviewed and signed the contract.  We would definitely recommend Colonial Remodeling to others.
