    Because I a extremely near sighted with a strong astigmatism, after discussions with Dr. Patel, I decided to have femtosecond laser cataract surgery for both eyes with the insertion of  toric intraocular lenses. Dr. Gaspar (who had done yearly eye examinations for me in the past and also did cataract surgery on my mother) did the surgery. Dr. Gaspar has a friendly, patient manner. He explains everything in detail to the patients. He is extremely experienced, knowledgeable and a highly skilled surgeon. He performed the surgery on both of my eyes, a week apart, and the procedures were successful. I am recovering quickly and without complications. I can now see clearly.

    I originally visited Arlington Eye Center in 2004 due to a serious vision problem. They identified the cause very quickly, and very effectively coordinated with my GP and another specialist to identify the root cause and find a treatment.
    Since my original visit to the office I have regularly gone back for a yearly checkup. There are several doctors there, and I have seen different ones at different appointments. This has not been a problem, however, because they keep good records of my history. The doctors and physicians assistants all seem well qualified and competent. They are friendly and very able to relate my eye health to the rest of my medical history.
    The office is busy but seems to run well. They are punctual; appointments starting within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. My one gripe is that you have to pay for parking ($5 per visit) since they are located in the Virginia Hospital Center and use that parking lot.
    Overall, I am very pleased with the treatment and attention I've gotten from this practice.

    Dr. Goldberg was very competent and clear in his explanations. Overall, my experience was quite good. I was able to get my first appointment very quickly and did not have to wait long in the office. For the follow-up appt, however, I waited about 25 minutes which was a little frustrating. My only caveat is to check which insurance they accept. I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield which they did not accept.

    Overall positive experience with office staff, nurses and doctors.. Dr. Robinson is friendly and thorough. Only complaint is field of vision test. technician was testy, made experience more stressful.

    The consultation was free and everyone was really friendly. The research I had done showed that Dr. Rajpal was an expert in his field and after the consultation, I knew I wanted to get the surgery done there. The lady in billing worked with me to help me plan how I was paying for the surgery. The same assistant took my vitals with each visit and I felt comfortable seeing a familiar face. All of the pre and post visits and the surgery were performed at the same location. I felt well taken care of with all of the follow-up visits. Everyone took time to listen and answer my questions at every step. I would recommend others interested in lasik eye correction to at least get a consultation here.

    They have totally screwed up the administrative quality of the fitting of the lenses I got. I thought their administrative staff was very good and very knowledgeable. I thought the administration of the billing was horrible.

    We started seeing him six months ago and we have each had one appointment. So far it has been very good. We love the technician. She is very efficient. He gave my wife laser surgery for glaucoma less than a month ago so we don't know the results yet. It takes two to three weeks to get in for an appointment. The office is great and has every piece of equipment that we can imagine. He is very, very punctual. We did have to pry some information out of him. He gave me a glasses prescription but I haven't received them yet. We knew all the costs upfront and he takes Medicare.

    I have seen Dr. Tigani for years (Dr. Oberhoff before then) and wouldn't go to anyone else -- I trust him completely and have never received anything less than stellar care. I have a form of glaucoma, as well as a family history that requires me to see Dr. Tigani ever 6 months for various checks/tests. On the occasions where I had an immediate need, the office got me in to see Dr. Tigani or Dr. Joseph quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Tigani, his partner Dr. Joseph and their entire office staff.

    I have been going to him for about 20 years. He can deal with any problems that we have, and provides very good quality of care. The office staff is fine and very friendly. It is a little difficult to get an appointment with Dr. Karlin though.

    Dr Rajpal did not use the equipment to test my vision, he only had me look at the chart on the wall. After I told him what I could see, he said that I was fine, even though I couldn't see 20/20. He was very condescending, and again insisted that I was fine. I was suprised that he didn't give me a complete eye exam, it was very unusual to what I've had in the past. When I asked him why he wasn't going to refract me, he again said that "you are fine." It was very confusing and disturbing, and his attitude did not help my experience.
