Great service and excellent work, ask Jason for advice, our bathrooms look like a million dollars for a very reasonable price, already referred Home Tech Services to a friend and they are doing a great job there too!

    TAS Interiors
The remodeling project went spectacularly well. Our 1986 home has been amazingly transformed at a reasonable price from an out-of-date home, to one that looks nicer than the beautiful, multi-million dollar brand new Signet condominiums in Mclean, Virginia. Andre Sabbagh, the owner of TAS Interiors is by far the best builder/architect/interior designer we have ever worked with. He is a genius at coming up with designs for kitchens, bathrooms, and all other rooms that meet our needs at a reasonable price. We hired him to update our very large home so that we could sell it quickly--but he did such a brilliant job that we love so much that we have decided not to move. It is impossible to find a better builder/remodeler than Andre Sabbagh.

    Cyrus Construction LP
Happy to report that Cyrus Construction, led by Russell, completed several renovation projects at our home and we are very happy with the outcome of each. Our kitchen and family room were combined, completely gutted and rebuilt, our basement now includes a very sweet kitchenette, and our rec room was renovated with all new finishes and a new fireplace faade. The project was complex and there were several unforeseen conditions (structural and electrical) that had to be overcome, but Russell and his team calmly and professionally dealt with each of them. Home renovations are simply stressful, but it was a big help to have Russell, who is extremely responsive, ensuring us that we would get over each hurdle and in the end be very happy with the outcome. And he was right, we are!

    Firebelly Renovations, LLC
Firebelly Renovations began work in our home in January of 2018 for substantial restructuring of our master bath, kitchen, and creation of a mudroom/pantry that took space from the garage and extended the kitchen. The contract stipulated that it would take 60 calendar days. Our expectations were for the project to be completed in April, at the latest, given change orders and construction delays. Firebelly did not complete their work until November, 2018 -- TEN MONTHS LATER!! We ended up hiring a third- party contractor to complete remaining punch list items, as we had difficulty getting Firebelly to return. While we have a kitchen and bathroom that is substantially complete and we are now enjoying, getting to this point was a huge life disruption that took nearly a year. As the months dragged on, we observed questionable commitment to the work product, unreliable business practices, and poor project management. Examples follow: QUESTIONABLE COMMITMENT TO QUALITY WORK -The new flexible vent pipe they installed through the roof for our new dryer was so flawed in design and installation that it collapsed creating a water trap for the humid air (see photo). -Firebelly installed closet doors that block the full use of our new Elfa closet system. Drawers will not fully open (see photo). -In several areas, new walls are not straight, corners deviate from 90 degrees requiring modification to shelving that will be installed in the space, and drywall compound/tape and paint were applied in a sloppy manner (see photos). -Caulking in the kitchen and bathroom has already cracked (less than six months), the toilet has leaked, the shower has leaked, the vessel sinks in the bathroom are not securely fastened in place, the bathroom live-edge vanities have started to sag and need to be re-supported to their installed level (see photo). UNRELIABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES -Firebelly failed to pay a subcontractor plumber, resulting in a lien being placed on our home. We have requested paperwork to settle the matter with the plumber, but Firebelly has not provided it. -Change orders were started and sometimes completed prior to receiving our written approval, a contract stipulation. -They often cut short their 8am to 4pm work day. There were instances of Firebelly excusing themselves from our project for an entire week, giving reasons that did not sound credible. They lied to us about a family vacation in July (that delayed our project another week). We later found out that this was really an excuse for the owner to work on other projects. POOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT -Firebelly made numerous miscalculations on the quantity of product needed. For example, bathroom floor tiling required three separate trips to the store, each time to order more based upon their calculations. Yet, when we returned in August from an overseas trip, we were informed that the tile design was not completed as planned as they did not have enough tile!! -Based on their calculations, we over purchased special-order tile and could not return it, costing us over $200. Another tile store had to make an exception to their return policy because we had exceeded their six-month limit for returns - otherwise, this would have cost us several hundred dollars. -Items, such as kitchen appliances, cabinets, tile, etc., were ordered so they would be available when needed and sat in our living room and garage for months until Firebelly made enough progress to install them. -Subcontractors were hired only as the project proceeded, introducing delays and resulting in variations in cost. Many more frustrations and observations could be listed. This was an ordeal that overtook our lives for the better part of year. We began to wonder if Firebelly had ever done a job of this size before as they did not appear to have the staff or the systems in place to address the challenges of this job. We would not recommend Firebelly for any substantial home renovation.

From the beginning, Ben was absolutely great to work with. I had requested quotes from 4 different remodeling contractors and Ben's Remodeling came in lower than the others by a significant amount. He came up with terrific design solutions for the space challenges we faced, allowing us to double the size of our master bathroom. He was very helpful in making other design choices, and also in helping us source the materials and products we wanted in the most cost effective way. I particularly appreciated the fact that he made sure the worksite was 100% cleaned up at the end of each day. I would absolutely use him again and can't recommend him highly enough.

    Vienna Woodworks LLC
Richard did another quality job for me in September, this time a bathroom renovation. He and his crew removed all of the floor and wall tile, the tub, toilet and vanity top. They replaced the water pipes, installed new wallboard, set the tub and the masonry team installed new floor and wall tile. Then they painted, installed a new exhaust fan and light fixtures just in time for the new vanity top and sink to be installed. The job took just two weeks and I have a perfect bathroom in time for the holidays. Richard does superior work and has high performing subcontractors. He and his team are all punctual, pleasant and trustworthy. I will use him again!

Michael Nash Design Build & Homes
If you want a gourmet kitchen featured in magazines, don't bother going anywhere else. Michael Nash is simply the best in this business around DMV. Upon the completion of this project, I can say with confidence that our home has been transformed and we have put the idea of moving to a different home behind us. More importantly, the execution and the professionalism of the MN staff were second to none. The team was behind us all the way, always answering our questions, accommodating every request we made, and going above and beyond when asked for a change. Martin, Oliver, Shawn and Julio were as they say in the movies, the good guys. You can always count on them to get things done. I honestly didnt think that a project of this scope and magnitude can be done before I spoke to you. I didnt know walls can move like that, or windows removed and replaced with this much ease. The price was hard to beat as well, as have researched this project thoroughly before we started. Last but not least, the quality of the cabinets, countertops and everything in between is second to none.
