    Blabey, Dr. Gary
I have been going to Dr. Blabey for about 15 years. I see him often when I'm having back or neck pain, but then once I'm better (thanks to him) I don't see him for a couple of months. He always helps me! He is very competent and he listens well.

    Terrell, Dr Eric D.
I've never had a bad experience at Horizon Chiropractics. Dr Terrell, his associate Dr Sable and the entire office staff (Charlene and Mary) are personable, very friendly and efficient. Wait time is any is minimal and attention to patient care is of the utmost importance. Both doctors take time to understand their patient's health problems and provide excellent care in the office and information on how to control your health in your daily life.
I feel lucky to have found this practice and always recommend them to family and friends.

I LOVE DR. HOCKSTRA! I've sent my husband and both my parents to him because I'm such a believer in all he can do. When I initially started with him, he did an incredibly thorough assessment of my rather colorful health history. He touched on possible causes for my pain that I had never heard before, but made complete sense once he explained what he was thinking. His Active Release Therapy (ART) works wonders. I have a number of long-standing injuries that have caused changes in my gait and posture due to various forms of compensation. After the very first session with him, I felt instaneous relief from tension and pain that I thought I was just going to have to "deal with." In the months since, he's helped me heal faster and more completely than ever before. He's even helped stave off the aches and pains of pregnancy. I'm almost 8 months and I'm JUST starting to experience some mild back discomfort. The other thing I like about Dr. Hockstra is that he can provide suggestions for lifestyle changes that may change how you feel. For me, making a few changes to what I ate and limiting fragrances near my chest/neck, made a world of difference for my pain... who knew!? I can't say enough positive things about Gentle Touch Chiropractic!! He's incredibly effective in his practice and he takes a personal interest not only in your health, but also in your life. You're not just a number with this doctor!!

I was turned off pretty quickly.  The office was clean, the receptionist was nice, but the doctor was incredible arrogant.  I gave him two tries.  Further, though I have responded well to manual manipulation in the past better than with instruments, mentioning this opened the door to what felt like ridicule.  I was told that there are a lot of "out there" practioners and that this practice was based on "science".  OK.  Long and short of it, the day after BOTH of my visits, I was in so much pain I could barely move.  When I mentioned this after the first visit, the response was glib -- that is was likely about to happen anyway and not necessarily caused by the previous adjustment.  Sure enough, the day after the second adjustment I was once again taking analgesics for the pain so I could go to work.

It may be a great practice for some, perhaps those who have never had chiro care and can just go along with all of it, but I didn't care for it.  Had he not been so arrogant I likely would have continued.

Their availability was good and their professionalism was excellent. They were very punctual, and the staff was very friendly. Everything was excellent. The effectiveness of treatment, and billing and administration was very good. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I've been so many times that it is difficult to outline everything.  I went because an irregularity in my upper back which they solved with regular visits.  I've been several times when my back hurt or I felt that I did something to it and they were always able to solve the problem in a very short time.

I would recommend them highly. The big drawback to them is their office is upstairs, and I hurt my knee because of that. It is a husband-wife team, and they are both very good. He is very low key and quiet, which actually can be a good thing. He seemed to very good at isolating the issues and fixing them. There is not a lot of pressure. They would make recommendations for future appointments, but they won't terribly push me about it. My other chiropractic provider was very aggressive with the appointment. They also have some Saturday hours. The office environment is fine other than the stairs.

I liked their accessibility.  The facility was good and very conveniently located.  Their hours were good.  The office environment was fine.  They were very aggressive with scheduling the appointments.

    Kaplan Center for Integrative Medicine

They are thorough. They use alternative medicines like acupuncture and physical therapy on the problem in my back. I am trying to avoid surgery so theyve been giving me a lot of different ways to avoid the pain in my back. When people have pain or problems that cant be solved by regular internists, they go to the Kaplan Center because they are the best for pain management.

    Cho, Dr. Charlie
I do not know what he can improve on because he takes on a holistic with nutrition and a couple of other approaches to chiropractic that you don't normally find in this area. It is more like an acupressure than it is chiropractor. It is more about stretching, pressure points and releasing stress by touching certain parts of your nerves. It is totally different. He does not have any staff. as for billing he does take insurances. I would not dream of changing him. I am not sure if he takes patients all the time. Sometimes he takes sometimes he does not take patients.
