I was pleased with the experience. The people were very friendly and attentive. They were available when needed. It is a new complex so it was nice and clean. The care was good. I was happy to see that there were actually a lot of males there. They were good and I would go back. They were busy but they were available.

Triage was more than prompt, wait time for a room was almost nil. Diagnostics were prompt but results were not. Curteous staff was accommodating to my request for no iv or meds.

The stay was just so great, we didn't even want to leave, knowing I was getting such great treatment. Also, private rooms for everyone, including a TV (with DVD player in delivery room) and a little couch for your husband to sleep on.

It was great. I really liked the doctor and his ability to go over my records and explain everything in terms I could understand rather that just using the medical terms. He made me feel at ease about making my decision on weather to go aheda with surgury or not.

I had an appointment with a doctor in the hospital and we discussed my having a blood calcium test done. Her office called the Diagnostic Center there at the hospital and they were able to do my test that very afternoon. It was a short walk from the doctor's office to the Diagnostic Center. They did the test and I was on my way within the hour. The technician was professional and very courteous.

Do go during the day and do not go one the weekends unless needed because you will be there for hours on end.

Although my husband had to wait an hour or two after he woke up from surgery, he was taken to his room and treated as well as one could reasonably expect in any hospital.  He was impressed by the cleanliness of his hospital floor and his room, and the nursing care was excellent.  It's a teaching hospital, but I guess he wasn't interesting enough to show off to students, so except for staff, his roommates (he had three during his stay in the two-bed room) and their families/visitors, he was able to rest between NG feedings, IV changes, various alarms and machines beeping, etc.  He had no complaints about his care, although he grumbled a lot about not being able to blow his nose.  If that's the worst thing one can complain about, the facility gets high marks indeed.

They have great providers at Urgent Care. The majority of the staff is nice, but some of the secretaries can be a little stand offish.

They seem to be very attentive. They have a staff of hospitalists, that is doctors that don't have private practices. They work as doctors in the hospital all of the time. They are always there. If you are in there very often you possible could see the same doctor a number of times.
