    Timber Works, LLC
Timber Works Tree Care does fantastic work. I live in a heavily wooded area and there was a lot of deferred maintenance and storm damage to trees along the street line, driveway and around the house that needed to be removed or trimmed without endangering the surrounding areas. Every tree was trimmed and felled carefully and efficiently including an enormous white pine growing well over my homes roofline. In addition to this, the trees that only needed trimming look beautiful and clean up was meticulous. It was a big job and they got it done in a single day! Excellent.

    Timber Works, LLC
The price quoted was substantially less than the competing quote. Although the work was expected to take 3 days it only took 2. The workers did their jobs quickly, professionally and skillfully. They took care to minimize tearing up the lawn around the house despite the rain and soft ground. Work was done as agreed, and to my satisfaction. Branches and twigs left over, were neatly removed afterwards.

    Gordon W Frazier Tree Service
We were completely satisfied with Gordon's Tree Service. His estimate was the lowest, he came when he said he would, his crew was efficient, competent and quick, and the tree was taken care of exactly as agreed and for the price agreed.

    Carl Suthard Tree Service
Carl came out on a Saturday to give me an estimate for a dead pine tree. He came with his crew and was ready to do the work if needed. He noticed that there were some small trees abutting my garage and expressed concern that they would compromise the structure. No problem with the work but the price was too high.

    Blue Mountain Tree Experts
Fantastic! We had trees in challenging locations. Darrel and his crew dropped them with amazing precision. They were very professional, friendly and courteous. The cost was significantly lower than a national company. We'll use Blue Mountain for all future tree services. Thanks Darrel, Jason and Chris!

    Garcia Outdoor Services, LLC
Quotes from several local landscaping companies were on average about twice as expensive as Garcia. He came with a team of 5 workers, fully insured, who performed each task just as we requested:
    - cut large curves into 2 areas of asphalt to extend the planting area - not an easy task and done to perfection. Removed asphalt and hauled away. Replaced with topsoil and mulch (for the winter).
    - advised on tree limbs hanging over a section of the house and removed some very large limbs without damaging plantings below
-removed 5 dead or dying trees and cut up for firewood, stacked neatly
-cut a 4' deep trench 40' long and laid perforated PVC for drainage purposes, filled in and flattened, re-seeded and covered with hay
    - we plan on using them this spring to build a stone retaining wall/platform for a patio in and area of the sloping back yard.

Merrifield Garden Center - Fair Oaks

Review of Merryfield Garden Center (MGC) Design Services TRAIN WRECK and deception. After spending a few thousand dollars at MGC I decided to use their landscape design services and contacted Renetta Holt. I had purchased some trees for installation and wanted MGC to install the trees and for Renetta to come out to my property for consultation and landscape design. She was unable be on-side during the planting. I waited nearly 3 months for Renetta to come out to my place for a consultation and design. Dozens of phone calls, emails and text messages were repeatedly ignored or I would receive a response a week or two later. She always claimed to be busy and told me that she was only able to come out on this day or that day at only this time or another and that MGC set here schedule. Finally after 3 MONTHS and dozens of contact attempts, I called the general manager Peter who told me that they DO NOT set their designers schedule and that Renetta basically sets her own. This revealed that her excuses were childish lies and that she lacks integrity. I gave Peter my contact information after he promised to look into the matter but I never heard back from the General Manager Peter or the Renetta and hence this review.

If this is the level of service and are seeking then you have found the right place and Renetta is your designer.

Note: the installation workers/laborers were professional and helpful and this review does not pertain to them.

The owner came on site and looked at the work to be done. He said it would take 3 days to complete. When asked to leave the most difficult of the standing trees and some of the smaller cleanup work out so it could be done in 2 days, we were told the remaining work would still take 3 days. The work was completed in the estimated number of days. The quality of the work was also good, although a bit of trash was left behind.
However, it is important to note (because we were not told this) that a day's work is not 8 hours. They were on site the first 2 days for 3.5 hours and on the 3rd day for 5.5 hours. When we approached the crew about how short their days were, they indicated 4 hours was their normal work day. They also said they were and quot;doing us a favorand quot; by cleaning up extra brush and rotten wood that was down (which we had not asked them to do).
We were very disappointed in the extremely short work days given the expensive price.

    Gordon W Frazier Tree Service
Gordon stopped by on a Saturday for an estimate. He arrived on time, listened to what trees we wanted trimmed and which we wanted to cut down.  He made several good suggestions for safety, in terms of some tree limbs that could be threatening to the home in a storm.   Gordon went back to his truck and wrote up the estimate in about 15 minutes, and the cost was quite reasonable.  We expected we might be forced into picking and choosing which trees we would deal with based on our budget, but it was a pleasant surprise to know we could afford to cut/trim all the trees at once.
On Monday morning Gordon and his crew showed up around 8 AM and got right to work and finished the entire job around 2 PM. The large trees were removed and stumps were ground up professionally.  They were quick and efficient and did a nice job cleaning up the mess of fallen trees. Gordon would not accept payment until we had a chance to look at everything and ensure that debris had been cleaned up to our satisfaction.
He's very pleasant to work with and made us feel comfortable in knowing we were choosing someone honest and professional.
We would most certainly use Gordon Frazier Tree Service again and we would recommend him to our neighbors and friends as well!

    Johnston Tree Care
This was a very professional job. I called for an estimate on a Monday morning. and left a message. Scott returned my call later that afternoon, and arrived for an estimate within an hour. He was very thorough in his assessment, and said he'd be back the following morning or afternoon to do the work. I was out in the morning, and when I returned home about noon, more than half the job was already completed. He and his wife explained a lot of things about trees to me which I had never known before, so I also recieved quite a useful education from this experience as well. I am so thrilled that i finally have a tree service I can trust.
