Well & Water Pump Repair reviews in Manassas

I had an structural engineer from Deska come out to look at the issues. He provided a report and documented recommended solutions for the issues and even provided an estimate for them to take care of it. We got one other estimate that was a little higher so we ended up using Deska and they did a great job!

This is the second time I've hired DB's Plumbing & Drain and I continue to be very happy with them. This time, there were two problems: A main sump pump that had died and a backup sump pump I had connected with flexible tubing which began springing pinhole leaks within months and spraying water all over the room. DB's swapped the dead pump with a spare I had on-hand and reattached the backup pump to the outflow pipe with standard PVC piping. They also joined both pumps to the main pump's larger outflow pipe with a Y-junction which should improve the backup's rate of flow. While they were at it, they replaced the check valves and disposed of a lot of rusty nails and junk that had been swept into the sump pit over the years. All told it only took 2 hours and now everything is quieter, no water spraying around and I have peace of mind that the place isn't going to flood in the next winter storm.

Wil did a great job replacing our old sump pump. He was on time, friendly and very professional. Even drilled and added additional screws to secure the well cover at no extra charge. Would definitely use again.

It was July 3rd when we had the emergency. Mr. Phillip Harris, PNH Maintenance was the first to call after we posted our problem. He arrived shortly thereafter and his crew worked into the evening installing a new water tank and electric outlet in our basement. It was then discovered that our 42 year old water pump was kaput. Mr. Harris promised he would be back the following morning, July 4th, and install a new water pump. True to his word they turned up early and worked half a day to ensure we'd have water for our 4th of July. They unselfishly sacrificed part of their holiday for us, when they should have been spending it with their families. What can I say. They were wonderful. Considering the amount of work and time they put in the cost seemed fair. We're still waiting for warranty info on the water tank. Thank you Mr. Harris and your wonderful workers. I called Cropmetcalfe Warrington (the old TLC Services) to get a quote on re-plumbing my house with PEX. When they were TLC I had used them to install an Geothermal system and they were great! I also have used them for the past 8 years to provide service to the system and in August of 2016 I had them replace the electrical panel, the electrical receptacles, and check check the wiring in my house - they did a great job. So when I needed a plumber I thought I would use them. They sent out a plumber (Bert) on a Tuesday, who was courteous, looked over my house, and promised to provide me with a quote by Friday. Friday came and went and no quote. Monday came and went and no quote, Tuesday came and went and - no quote. I called their Operations Manager, Dean Perez, whom I had dealt with previously to find out what happened. He apologized and said he would talk to Bert to see what was going on. He called me back and said that Bert was not comfortable using PEX, and in fact CroppMetcalfe did not use PEX, they used CPVC. I said ok so give me bid with CPVC. He arranged for another plumber to call me and set up an appointment to get another quote for CPVC. I received call from a Mr. Ken Keller who arranged to meet with me on Wednesday the 28th of Feb. to look at the house. He arrived as scheduled, looked at the house, then said he would have a quote for me by the weekend. Wellll - the weekend came and went, with no quote. On Monday the 5th of March at 3pm I again called their Operations Manager, Mr. Dean Perez, to see what was going on. He said he would call me back. At 3 pm on the 6th of March I called my Perez to see what was going on and was told he was not at his desk. I left a message with him canceling the re-plumbing job.

I made my appt. over a month ago. They gave me a date and told me that they would be here between 9 and 11. Its 2:18 and they are not here, I called the company several times before someone answered. She told me she would check with driver and call me back. That was two hours ago. Now no one will answer the phone.

Bruce spent over an hour inspecting our interior drainage system, our sump pump, our gutters, and our downspouts; moving our garden hose from place to place in search of a leak; and even playing T-ball with our toddler while waiting for the water from the garden hose to come out of the downspout drain at the curb. He was thorough and honest. In the end, he determined that the small puddle we had seen was most likely due to condensation. He recommended that we put 6 mil plastic behind the drywall before repairing it so that condensation will run down into the drainage channel. He also recommended that we run a dehumidifier into the sump pit. He answered our questions, advised us on how to rectify the problem ourselves, and didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need.

The prices were reasonable and they were extremely friendly on both customer service and actual work done. The work was completed during the first visit which was great since I didn't have to wait to have everything fixed.

Reached out to Oasis Well Service and spoke to Ken. Mentioned I had some semi-major work performed last year and had a great experience. This morning, when I went to turn on the faucet... no water! Checked the breaker, reset it just in case, no water pressure. Ken gave me a call back within 15 mins and told me he was in the area and could be by in 20 minutes. He arrive and took a look at things, cycled the water valve and noted one of my toilet was running. Checking over the systems he informed me that older shallow wells such as the one I have can go empty from a long night of constant leak from a toilet. He tell me all other systems look in good shape and to just be mindful of any leaking fixtures and tell me there is no charge. Quick honest service, that what you can expect from Oasis Well Service!

I called Runyon Well to help me with our well that was showing contamination after another firm tested it and wanted an excessive amount to clean and retest. They went above and beyond in responding to my call and explaining what needed to be done.
