They give your pet a bath before you pick them up from boarding.  I'd give them an "A" for everything.  He just looked good when he came out.  They did a good job with his nails, brushed out and smelled good.  They did a very thorough job with his cleaning.  He was happy when we picked him up, I could tell he liked being there.  They met my expectations.

    Yappie Cuttery
I picked up our dog up on April 11. As soon as we hit the parking lot she started limping and whining. After a day of this, we took her to the vet. They confirmed she was in pain but could not identify a break or wound. I don't know what happened, but I'm sure it happened during her stay at this place. Today, on April 16 (five days of limping), we are still giving two pills twice a day to the dog and she is still unable to put weight on her paw. The vet cost me $300. We've used this place as a back up a few times and have not had problems. This latest event, however, is really bad. I cannot recommend this place.

    Dogtopia of Manassas
Dogtopia Manassas is the best place I have ever taken any of my dogs. They love my dog and are always available for day care and pretty short notice for boarding. My father had open heart surgery and there were many unexpected delays in my being able to come and pick her up. They were extremely understanding and took care of our baby girl until we could bring her home. she has been going there since she was about 9 months old and is always excited to be there. We are about to go out of the country for a vacation and we are not at all worried about boarding here there for a week. On the grooming side, we have a Airedale Terrier and they require a special cut. The groomer there is very knowledgeable and was able to do what we had requested. They are also great at giving her a bath, I think she likes It better there than we try to do it at home lol

    Featherle Pet Care
They are quality people and they are quality groomers. Their services are used to dog shows. They are nationally certified and they are very, very good with the dogs. We travel 45-50 minutes to take our dogs over there when there's a lot around here.

    Lucky Dog Grooming
Mel took Rusty and talked to him, held him.  He responded well to her.  When I picked him up, Mel had him and he seemed very happy.  Rusty looks great and is very happy and energetic.

    Lucky Dog Pet Lodge
This was our second time at Lucky Dog. Stella got excellent care. In addition, since they have our information on file, we can "drop in". Stella came out at the end of the day happy and looking so nice! We will be using Lucky Dog again when we are in town, and additionally when we move to the area next summer!

    Yappie Cuttery
We went to pick up our dogs, and they wanted us to pay a higher charge than contracted for.  When we refused, we were threatened that if we did not, we would not get our dogs back.  Terrifying.
Our dogs have been groomed at Yappies before and when we were about to change to another company because the prices were too high, the woman who managed the accounts told us of a discounted program.  If we agreed to allow our dogs to be groomed in conjunction with their training program for student groomers, and if we promised to bring the dogs every 5 weeks, we would have a discounted rate of $55.00 for our Labradoodle, and $35 for our little Welsh Terrier.  On a couple of occasions, when my husband had gone to pick up the dogs,  they had charged us the higher price but each time they corrected it later when I called and reminded them of our agreement to be a part of the student training.
This time, the account manager was not there and it was the owner who did not have the courtesy to come out to see me; rather, he sent his poor frightened receptionist to pass along his threat that we either pay a price higher than agreed or we could not get our dogs. Therefore, I gave him a check for the higher amount to be sure I could get my dogs away from this man, and then I promptly put a stop payment on the check given such bait and switch tactics.
This was very very disturbing.  If the prices have gone up, they should have told us in advance and then we could have decided if we wanted to continue with Yappie.  But to tell us of a price change in this manner and to threaten to keep our dogs was beyond all reason.  In the past, when one of their student groomers cut one of our dogs, we pointed it out to them and told them they should have told us first about the error instead of leaving us to discover the wound.  We talked it out and they apologized to us and asked for another chance promising that this would not happen again.  We are reasonable people and agreed.
But today, when they should have been reasonable and worked this out in a professional manner, instead the obviously volatile owner made a stupid and frightening decision that it was better to threaten us than to find out the facts.  If this man is so rash and hot tempered, I don't want his business at any price.  I have sent him a check for the agreed upon rate minus the $30.00 I had to pay for the stop payment.  I will never go back to him again.

Elaine bathed and did a haircut on my dog. She is very thorough and careful, and takes time to keep my dog comfortable and safe. (he is a challenge at times!). Jack always comes home clean and happy!

    HoPPooH Mobile Pet Grooming
I'd definitely use HopPooh again -- very prompt, courteous, and professional.  This mostly went well, but they couldn't complete the cut / groom because my cat was pretty upset about the whole thing.  This is only the second time she's been professionally groomed, and the first time was at a brick & mortar location. I don't know if it was because they had her all day at that place that they could let her calm down or what, but they (the first place) got her all done, nose to tail.  My cat was less cooperative with the HopPooh ladies, and they did their best to get her taken care of.  It was unfortunate that she was somewhat traumatized and was therefore pretty defensive, because she still has a rather large area that's ungroomed on her backside and rear that looks a little goofy.  My wife and I will finish that up when she's relaxed.
HopPooh was real convenient and they did a great job getting our cat all fresh and beautified, but that last bit was probably some of the more important grooming, for sanitary reasons...  Anyway, I'll try HopPooh again -- Sarah and Marzi were super nice and really wanted to finish it all up, but I can't really fault them for not wanting to get cut by a seriously p*****-off cat.  :)

They are wonderful. I cannot say enough about them. The cost is a little high but the care is well worth it. We travel about 40 minutes to get there due to the care that is given towards our dog. We use them every month for service. We used there service for years.
