DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Excavate two sides of residence to basement footer. One side was approximately 4 to 5 feet deep and also required a trench extended nearly 60 or so feet to daylight the drainage pipe. The exposed basement walls were power washed and re-mortered. Careful attention was provided to mortar the seam where the footer and 1st coarse of wall block exists as the original mortar was not screeted well and was crumbling. Exterior waterproofing was rolled after overnight drying of the mortar. Wall protection was applied and drain pipe placed along footer. 3/4 clean blue stone applied, filter fabric and socked piping to prevent clogs. At my request Luis and his crew gladly also added appropriate tee's and clean outs for future cleanings...just encase. Backfill process was methodical making sure to use gas powered tamping machine to minimize settling. Regrading in areas excavated as necessary.
