    OHI Design
I got a few quotes from different companies before I ultimately decided to go with OHI. I choose them because they were very open and honest about everything leading up to me signing my contract. Scott and Whitney came to my home to give me a free estimate and talked to me about what I wanted and what to expect during the remodeling process. I liked the fact that they werent trying to up-sell me and worked with me to do everything I wanted within my budget. They came to me with a computer design and we worked together to make everything perfect for my home. I highly enjoyed working with them and highly recommend them to anyone who wants to update their home and do it with little stress. They communicated with me throughout the process and made me aware of everything that was going on. I love my new kitchen and bathroom!

    Bull Run Kitchen & Bath
Bull Run Kitchen & Bath After 10 kids and 25 years of wear and tear, our kitchen needed a facelift. Knowing that there was quite a range of options out there, we gathered contractor references from friends and various internet sites. Since we were not radically changing the design of the kitchen, we solicited 7 bids for what I called a kitchen upgrade. (i.e. new floors, cabinets, counters, appliances, backsplash, lighting, paint). We were looking for not only a good price, but more importantly, best value. Although Bull Run came in 2nd in price, we decided to go with them for two reasons: * The Team: Our experienced Project Manager was Rashed. Our sales guy, Matt, was also the designer so there was limited opportunity for slipups. Matt was not only very knowledgeable, he listened, and paid keen attention to detail. * The Approach: Bull Run had a very practical design approach without a lot of up-selling. They have good quality materials, and their labor is backed by a better warranty than most. The project commenced with demolition on Feb 5th, the day we left for a week in California. We told Matt that we were entrusting our home to his care. He did not disappoint, constantly texting us pictures of the work in progress, and soliciting our comments. The project was completed on Feb 25th; less than 15 working days. The crew chief assigned to us, Orlando, was quite talented and versatile. When something was in question, he asked or texted me for my preference. The crew exercised great caution to move, cover, and protect our home furnishings, sealing off the kitchen, and placing dust filters on the HVAC intake vents. Matt, Orlando, and crew willingly handled minor change requests, and even suggested some minor improvements as the project proceeded, without adversely impacting the contracted price. The crew was very careful to protect the new floor, cabinets, and granite counters, as they installed the new appliances. On the last day, Orlando and crew finished the project, cleaned up the site, and uncovered and replaced all of our furniture. The crew took such good care of every finishing touch up and detail, that I had NO outstanding punch list! The best part of this exercise, however, was the quality and finish of the end product. Our new kitchen is gorgeous in every detail. My wife is very happy, and is very complimentary of Matt, Orlando, and crew. The kitchen was finished on time, within budget, and exceeded my expectations, .... truly a best value. I would highly recommend that you put Bull Run Kitchen & Bath on your project short list when considering a remodeling contractor. We were delighted with their work. Mike & Ann Hadro

I cant say enough good things about BRK&B. They remodeled my kitchen very quickly and with very impressive and detailed craftsmanship. The materials and installation went very well and with little problems as well as the area was kept very clean. Sam (the project manager) had everything scheduled very well and addressed any issues that came up. Ron (the sales rep) was wonderful and helped me to select styles, colors, and textures. I am very happy with the results and hope to love this new kitchen for many years to come.

Imade a last minuteappointment, but these guys were veryaccesible, I just needed to explain once and they caught my idea, and met myexpectations when they described what they were going to do for me.

They started to prepare the area close to the work area, coveringall before demolition (cover hardwood floors, paintings, furniture, etc.) toprevent dust in nearby areas. After that they started demolition phase in myBathroom, since the moment I signed a contract with them they werevery clear when explaining about the need of having a designated space for the debrisand trash generated through demolition, however they explained to me,that thisspace would also serve to store or place the new acquisitions to install (tub, toilet, tiles, etc.). After demolition phase (which was far more ordered than Iexpected) they started remodeling phase, plumbingand rough carpentry, electrical installation, insulation, drywall, tileinstallation (walls and shower), cabinet installation vanities and flooringinstallation, plumbing fixture hook ups, with toilet and tub installation, sinkand faucet too.

Only a few days were needed for miscellaneous issues, tasks and generalclean up, like for washing the floors, hanging light fixtures, putting upexhaust fans and hanging mirrors, bacame the final touches to my bathroomrenovation.

ALEXANDRIA CONSTRUCTION .INC satffwere fast and efficient, on time and the job looks
    very professional.

    Bull Run Kitchen & Bath
It went very well. My kitchen is an old galley style and there is not much room to work in. BRK&B has been responsive when questions were asked and when additions were made. The installation turned out beautifully. High marks for craftsmanship. Matt, the project manager, was helpful during the design process as well. It's like he new what we wanted before we said anything.

    Moss Building & Design

This was a little tricky because Moss had to coordinate with our insurance company. They worked with us to give us the service as cheap as possible using their handy man for a day coupons with the insurance payment to save a little money out of our pocket. It took a little bit of coordination, but we usually heard back within 24 hours from Moss when we needed something. We had to schedule the work about 6 weeks out, but that was to arrange the work to be done on days when one of us would be available to be home.

When the time to get the work done came, our handyman was prompt and professional. He worked extremely hard from the minute he got here until the minute he left. So I'm certain we weren't billed for any time that he wasn't working. He worked efficiently and effectively. We were really impressed by how industrious he was. He was also very professional. He spoke perfect English so there were no communication problems. We were billed for 19.5 hours over two days and I'm being honest when I say I don't think anyone could have worked any faster.

Without a doubt I would use Moss next time and every time

    Elite Contractors Services Inc
Elite Contractor's Services remodeled our kitchen more than two years ago.  While we were extremely happy with both the design by Ana and work done by Ken's crew, after some time we discovered that the tile they installed would not hold grout and in some places the floor seemed to flex more than it should.  After several attempts by me to resolve the grout problem, I finally wrote Ken and Ana an email describing the issue. We were out of the warranty period, but Ken unhesitatingly offered to fix the problem. Although I offered to pay part of the cost, Ken declined and promised the problem would be fixed to my satisfaction at no cost to me.  I was surprised as this would not be a small job.
Ken came with his project manager, reviewed the situation and agreed the problem would require reinforcing the floor and redoing the tile job to correct the problem.  Within a few days, Ken arranged for his flooring specialists to begin work.  They started by removing the previously installed tiles and the concrete board underlayment.   Ken's workers discovered the original home builder had left some ends of the plywood subfloor unsupported and had missed securing the subfloor to the joists below in some cases. These conditions were not apparent when the tile had first been installed in place of a linoleum floor.
Rather than destroy the finished ceiling below, Ken's workers carefully cut into the kitchen's plywood subfloor and nailed two by fours between the floor joists to stabilize the subfloor where it was unsupported and then screwed the plywood back into place.  They also located places where the floor was not secured to a joist and screwed those section down.  Over top of the now more stable floor they placed a concrete backer board thicker than the one used previously.
A major snow storm delayed the tiling for several days, but when work resumed things went quickly.  I was impressed with the quality of work and how careful the workers were to clean up the work area at day's end.
Both my wife and I are extremely happy with the new tiling job and Elite Contractors Services commitment to the customer's happiness.  Having worked with other contractors, it is unusual to find one who stands by their work despite the expiration of the warranty period.  Ken and Ana are a rare find whose work I admire and whose honesty and commitment I respect.  I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The work was top notch and they were able to match stains for my cabinets to the flooring that I had selected.  We did go over deadline a little bit due to some sick days of workers but overall a great company to work with.  Kenny managed the project and was very responsive.  During final walk thru there were very few issues to address.  In the end we liked the work enough that we have hired them to do our basement next. Several recommendations that they made during the planning/pricing phase saved us money such as staining the cabinets instead of replacing them.

2X4 came when they said they would and performed the services we had contracted for.
