5 Tips to Get the Best Tree Service

Tree Service reviews in Lynchburg

Absolutely fantastic. The Blankenship crew showed up, and were extremely "high speed" in the sense that they don't mess around. Just like "clockwork" for them-they obviously knew what they were doing, and were extremely professional. They got the heavy limb out of there, and they were careful to make sure my neighbors fence was intact through the whole process. They also cleaned up everything totally and nicely. Excellent job !!

    Redwood Escapes
Poor experience: The initial pricing was ridiculous. I negotiated and ended up with a price of $220 (still too high), which required Redwood Escapes to check and clean out the gutter under the river birch. Richard partially completed work on day one, but his pole saw was not long enough, and he did not have his ladder. He promissed to return with extensions and ladder for gutter cleanout. He returned within a couple days with the pole extenisions, but he gave excuses the ladder was stolen. He would return with a new ladder to complete the gutter work. I made the mistake of paying when the tree work was done but the gutter work remained. My follow up calls have gone unanswered.

Williams Brothers Tree & Lawn Service
It was fine. They were big branches and I didn't think the neighbors could do it. I didn't want them climbing up there. I have another job that I am going to call them for. They were efficient. They cleaned up. Their price was reasonable. They were very polite. My wife was here. They were very polite to her. It was a good overall experience and they did the job well. They were just very good. I was very pleased.

    Master's Touch Tree Services
I made an appointment with Reese Kincaid (owner?) to come out and give me an estimate for trees to be cut down in my back yard. They were no-show--didn't even bother caking to cancel or reschedule. I was home all day--never left the house--so I didn't miss them.

    Dominion Tree Care Specialists
Dominion is fully insured, providing a certificate of insurance if desired. They are punctual, respectful, efficient, and clean up fastidiously. They are very competitively priced. The owner is also a believer, if that term means anything to you and if it makes a difference.

    Master's Touch Tree Services
We had a huge Maple tree that had to come down due to its proximity to our drain field. The crew arrived and accessed the area and the tree. After some thought they got to work immediately. EXTREMELY knowledgable and gear was cared for properly so they could do the work without hesitation or problems. Worked for several hours clearing and cutting the tree. From the truck and chipper to all the ropes and saws, EVERYTHING was well oiled and ran smoothly. Communication amongst to crew was superb. One man literally had to climb the tree to top it off while others on ground followed his direction. Saftey planning and positioning was key. Not only did they remove tree, but also cleaned up remaining saw duct and wood chips. Other than the big empty spot where the tree was one would never know we just had it taken down. Not a chip of tree left!!!!! if you have ANY tree work, PLEASE use The Masters Touch Tree service. They are absolutely true professionals!

    ACP Landscaping and Lawn Care
The total cost was $375. That was for mowing the lawn on five occasions, doing some brush cutting and removal of some brush. We hardly ever saw him. So we never got a chance to talk to him about the work. But, he basically did what we asked him to do. There were some things with cutting the grass I would have loved to talk to him about. But I had a little bit of difficulty reaching him. But other than that, he got the job done. Our interaction was non-existent, after the first meeting. Grass mowing was okay. He wound up cutting some netting I had around my garden, which was unfortunate. So I had to replace that. The job that he did with cutting of the shrubbery looked pretty poor at the time. I think it will all grow back. He advertised with Angie's List that he gave a senior discount. I had to mention that to him. Then he said he would throw in the removal of brush as the senior discount and then he wound up charging us for it.

Mr. Campbell kept his appt to estimate the work on time.  He advised me to call "Miss Utility" to mark the utility lines before he would tear into the hedge.  It was a good thing as it turned out that two lines ran the length of the hedge.  He ended up grinding that area just shallowly, but that was enough.  The main stumps were north of the lines.  Must have worked.  We had no interruption of service and the stumps and roots are gone.  Good job, I say.

    Above Ground Tree & Landscape
Came when he said he would, both to estimate the work and to perform the work.  Was very knowledgeable about what should or could be done with the trees.  Brought along a crew and a huge chipper, so the crew immediately dragged off branches and fed them into the shredder as Jonathon dropped them to the ground.  When they were finished, they blew off the leaves and sawdust and left a pretty clean and much better looking landscape.

This provider called me the day before  the work and said they would be there in the morning and they arrived on time and ready to work.  Mr Blankenship described the work to be done again and what the goal was which was exactly what we wanted.  When the work was finished it looked so good that no one would know they did any tree work unless they were there watching.  They cleaned up every stick and twig and even blew the saw dust from the roof and porches.  The workers were polite and informative and just plain good folk.  For the work done, the price quoted was excellent.  I would employ these folks again and highly recommend them for any tree work.
