Handrail installed on stairway to basement garage.

Prompt, professional, efficient, affordable, and friendly service! After searching extensively for someone willing to come to Brookneal on short notice for a job that was needed in a quick time frame we found Maintenance Plus on Angie's List...THANK GOODNESS!! I called in the morning, they called back within an hour or so with an estimate and drove all the way down to complete the job by 4 that evening! They were lifesavers for us. To top off the pleasant business experience we were able to meet two very nice people. We would definitely recommend their service and would hire them again.

Maintenance Plus removed two exterior doors and installed a new Pella 9 pane (1/2 light) exterior door at garage entrance and a new Pella exterior door and transom window at front entrance.

They were extremely careful to ensure that the doors were installed properly and with a great attention to detail. The front door installation required a good amount of extra work and time, but they completed the job with great results. I'm very happy with the final product. Total cost of project = $3,800 ($1,200 for labor and $2,600 for the doors and transom).

Power washed the front of the house. Repaired bay window sill and two dormers and painted and caulked the front of the house, window frames, gutters and the front porch.

He came when he said he would for the bid. The bid was comparable to another bid I had. He and his crew came promptly whenever the late fall weather allowed. He and his crew were neat, respectful, helpful, friendly, competent. All work was completed as requested and he threw in a bit extra for free just to make the job look better. There were no additional costs. His crew cleaned up beautifully when they were finished. I couldn't be more pleased.

Prepared and painted foyer and hallway, upstairs and downstairs. Installed picture frame molding below chair rail in foyer and painted white, creating a wainscoting look. Installed a new light fixture in 1/2 bath, new shelving in master closet and repaired outdoor electrical outlet.

I have used Maintenance Plus several times over the years and, as always, they did a great job. They are quick to provide an estimate and schedule the work once estimate is accepted in a timely manner. They have always started on time and worked steadily to complete the project. I'm very pleased and will continue to contract with them and recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Painted all exterior woodwork, pressure washed all brick patios and walkways, repaired pole lamp next to driveway.

Contracted with Maintenance Plus to paint all the exterior woodwork on my home, including wrap around porch, wood behind gutters, screened porch, all exterior doors. They pressure washed all the woodwork prior to painting, and also pressure washed brick walkways, brick porch and brick patio. Also had a pole lamp with a day/night sensor that stopped working, they replaced the sensor, which turned out not to be the problem. So they came back and cleaned out the fixture and got it working again. I have used Maintenance Plus many times before, and have always found them to be responsive, efficient and reasonable.

Provided an estimate to have a load bearing wall partially removed.

They were able to schedule a quick estimate appointment and were punctual. However, their estimate came in twice as high as two other local contractors.

Removed two large light fixtures and two sets of track lighting; installed two new large light fixtures and two new sets of track lighting.

As always, they charged what they had bid, even though the job turned out to be more complicated than anticipated! We highly recommend them. They are always very professional, courteous, and willing to tackle almost anything!
