    Their management and cooperate office contacted me and rectified a few things that went on, that was just terrible, the sale that I got adequate communication from my sales person after the sale, I was not properly informed about my responsibilities with the installation with the rewiring work that had to be done. One of the items that I had purchased, the wall oven, somehow wound up delayed in shipment and I don't think they really took very good care of in regards to that. In the end I ask the sales manager of the store to have someone from their cooperate office to contact me and their saving grace it was that I believe it was the vice president of the company called me and we taken a lot about their reputation and how everything went and he stepped up to the plate to do a better monitory conversation that I was originally being given from the stores itself and just the fact that he called and demonstrated, they did consider me a valued as a customer and I just wasn't getting that feeling from the store but their cooperated office certainly work to rectify it.

    The repairman was friendly and knowledgable. He took his shoes off when entering the house and cleaned up completely when the repair was completed. He diagnosed the problem and replaced / tested the dryer once the repair was completed in less than 1 hour!

    Many years ago (17 years ago) we purchased our kitchen appliances from Sterling Appliances.  I stubbornly insisted on buying everything Maytag, thinking it was a brand as reliable as its longtime reputation would have led you to believe.  At that time Maytag was just beginning to go downhill.  Our refrigerator was beautiful, with thoughtful touches, drawers, and space considerations. Unfortunately, this refrigerator turned out to be loud and temperamental.  It would throw fits and have meltdowns on an ongoing basis.  I would call Sterling Appliance, and they would send their repairman.  Contrary to the well known Maytag T.V. commercials of that era, I was on a first name basis with the repairman.  He kept that dang thing running for the full five year warranty that Sterling Appliances offered free of charge with the purchase of your appliances at that time.  How many stores, then or now, offer a five year warranty independent of the manufacturer?  And anyone who has ever dealt with home warranty programs so popular today knows what a pain in the neck it is to deal with those folks.  They try to weasel out of their obligations every which way they can contrive.  Not Sterling Appliance.  I would call them, and they would efficiently and without a single grumble send the Maytag repair guy to my house.  After five years, we replaced that #!& refrigerator with a generic Kenmore refrigerator, and that was the end of our ongoing contact with Sterling Appliance.  Fast forward to today.  We puchased a house that came with a fancy Jenn-Air range.  I have had a couple of problems with the range that repair men just can't seem to figure out.  I have dropped by Sterling Appliance in Leesburg to pick the owner's brain several times.  He has generously shared his time and his knowledge in trying to help me figure out what part is the cause of the problem so that we can get it resolved.  Thank you, sir!  Much appreciated.

    Same Day Service
    I called in the morning for a washing machine repair and was told I would get service between 12-3pm.  I told them I would be home the whole time between 12-3. They would call about 30 minutes out.  They called and I missed the call by literally 10 minutes.  When I called back they said the repairman was already in my area and could'nt come back until the next day in the afternoon!  I am usually not a a knit pick, but 10 minutes???  There website says that "Great customer service is our goal!" So far, I would not call it that.
    I am pressing with the appointment tomorrow and see if the service gets better.  I will update the review.

      He was quick to schedule appointment, he was on time, he is very friendly and professional. He is honest about issues and the cost of repairs. He took extra time to look for best price on part and got back to me quickly. He explained the situation thoroughly and helped me make the right decision about service/parts/price. He did more than necessary to help me understand all my options with no extra compensation....just to be available to his customer...he answered my text message/question about parts/services and went above what he had to do to earn his $65 flat rate. I will absolutely call him again if we have any appliance failures in the future!!!

    I was expecting to replace the air conditioners that came with the house (7 1/2 years old). Bill from Mannix inspected both unit, went into the attic and checked the unit there, checked the drains for each unit (attic and basement), measured the temperature and pressure of the Freon and also checked the burners for the furnace. He also provided good guidance on what I should be checking for.
    Rather than suggesting I replace the existing units, he told me they were is good shape and did not need to be replaced, because although the newer units provide higher efficiency; the entire HVAC would have to be replaced, So at this time it made more sense to maintain the existing unit until it began to loose Freon or required other more costly maintenance.
    Bill was very professional, informative, and thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend or use Mannix in the future.

    One of the best examples of home appliance repair that we have ever had. We called wednesday morning, technician arrived wednesday morning and diagonsed problem and explained that we needed a new refrigerator fan which he could procure by the next day, we made an appointment to be at home the next day (Thursday) but we were unable to do so because of something that came up at work. He volunteered to do the repair Saturday even though it was our fault for missing the Thursday appointment and even though he doesn't usually work Saturdays. Very professional, made the repair very quickly, extremely flexible.
