Sammy, my 13 year old black lab, was unable to get up and was in pain. I knew it was time to let him go. He's was a big guy which would have made it hard to get him to my regular vet. It would have been painful to Sammy to put him in the car.

Dr Cryan and his assistant Jim helped me through this process. They had already checked with my vet and knew Sammy history. Dr Cryan gave Sammy some medication which relieved his pain and settled him down. We all sat there here on my living room floor and talked about Sammy. They gave me time where I could hug Sammy and say goodbye. It was very peaceful for both Sammy and myself. I am eternally grateful to Dr Cryan and Jim for helping me let Sammy go. They are both caring people.

Our 15 year old cat suddenly began spending most of her time sleeping under our bed, and she was eating less than usual. We then found one of her eyes had significant discharge coming from it. We scheduled an appointment for a quality of life assessment. I called their office, left a voicemail, and Bonnie returned my call promptly.

Dr. Cryan and Jim (his assistant) arrived at our home during the scheduled appointment time. Even though our cat has been shy around strangers, she allowed them to pet her. They sadly determined that she most likely had a tumor causing her issues, and we decided euthanizing was the kindest option for our beloved girl. They were both kind and sympathetic, and they allowed me to hold her for as long as I needed. They also made the arrangements for cremation.
