    Call The Movers LLC
While just completing our first phase of our relocation, Jason and did an excellent job of coming into our home, inventorying and packing us up to store with eventually move south. We were impressed with how professional and courteous they were and how efficiently they worked to get the job done. Thank you guys! We look forward to seeing you again at the other end when you deliver our goods. Pricing depends on numerous factors including travel, type of goods, etc., they will come out to your house to give a free estimate.

    Call 2 Sisters LLC
It went beautifully. I've used them several times and recommended them to many of my friends. Two people come and generally, one helps sort and the other moves the stuff. You'll help, telling them what's important to you and where you use things. For example, I pay bills in the bedroom, so that paperwork is stored there. However, THEY make it all happen. By the end, there is nothing left for you to deal with. My kitchen was a hot mess with stuff stored in the garage and closets, and anywhere it would fit. By the time Annabel and Joy were done, all the food that I use daily were by the sink, and the cans and boxes were organized in the pantry in a way that made sense. Things that we're still good but I no longer needed were taken to the food pantry. What's really great is they used the things I had to organize, like shoe boxes and old trays. I recommend having a few clear plastic boxes trays or boxes from the dollar store just to help, but it's not necessary. They make do with what you have. They know what can be recycled and what needs to be discarded. THEN THEY take almost all of it with them, even the trash. However the big trash, such as broken furniture and such, they take to the curb, if that's what you want. Their resources for knowing where things are needed are amazing. I was going to discard a bunch of old used pencils comma but they knew of a school that needed them. They can even decide what should go to a yard sale, if that's what you want to do with your things. My 86 year old uncle thinks they're great.

    Moving With Us
The guys were amazing! They arrived early and did more work than the quoted price. They made sure all of our belongings were packed nicely and we received everything in perfect condition on the other end of delivery. Their price was more than fair for the work completed and they all arrived with great friendly attitudes! We will definitely work with them again in the future.

    G&J Moving and Storage
Since I got an on-site cost estimate by the moving company before scheduling the service, I decided to move 2/3 of the items estimated for the cost to move them. I was able to get help from friends to most of my items because I relocated to a new home only 3 minutes walk away and two streets down from my old address. However, the moving company still charged me the full estimated cost to moving the remaining 1/3 Of the items.

    Helping Hands Handyman Services LLC
The job went Great. Full disclosure I have been using Helping Hands (Nelson Best) to assist with projects since 2014. I am disabled and I need someone I can trust to complete large or small projects satisfactorily on time without paying outrageous prices. I have a condo that I rent and I Had one week to get it ready for a new tenant. I needed Mr. Best to remove old linoleum and install new tile in a Master Bathroom and Guest Bathroom, paint multiple rooms to include trim, repair drywall, replace wood trim and caulk several areas through out the house. He also removed the old linoleum and installed new linoleum in the Laundry Room. Mr. Best reviewed each part of the project, and explained how he was going to complete it and in what order. As he completed each part of the project he would ask if the work was satisfactory them move on to the next task. Mr. Best was always on time, and his work was excellent. The reason I keep using Helping Hands is because Mr. Best is a highly skilled craftsman with years of experience who can do just about anything you ask him to do.

    Fairfax Transfer & Storage
Fairfax Transfer has always been punctual, professional, and true to their estimate. In D.C. summer heat, pouring rain, or the worst snow, slush and ice, nothing stops these guys. Really, they've moved us in all of these conditions. One of our more complex moves involve two storage units, two houses and three trucks in pouring rain. They never missed a beat, and kept our possessions dry. Fairfax Transfer has always sent a representative to view the property before estimating, and they are a great value for the price. The men on the crews have always been friendly and very professional. They wrap and pad wood furniture pieces and shrink-wrap upholstered pieces, dis-assemble and re-assemble tables and other items, carefully pad and box artwork (they've moved my paintings up to 6 feet x 4 feet as well as large, glass-framed art), easily cope with less-often seen items like a woodworking shop including saws, dust collector, and tools, keep an accurate inventory, invite you to inspect the truck and the premises before they leave to make sure every box has been accounted for, have you walk the house with them for any adjustments to furniture placement or to note damage (we haven't had any). I recommend Fairfax Transfer without reservation.

    NK Movers
The movers were amazing. Very very strong. One person carried sofas, three boxes at a time and deep freezer by themselves. They were also very careful how they handled my items. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Global Moving Systems LLC
It went really really well.  We've actually used him twice.  The first time it was fantastic the second time it was okay.  They were here in November the last time they were here.  Well the only surprise for me was they spent a lot of time in traffic between the two points.  I had them pick up a piano and a desk for me and bring it to the house, and moving those two items cost more than it did to move our entire house.  That was a little bit disappointing but I have no complaints about the service, they did a nice job.

    Carmack Moving & Storage
From the timely and friendly estimate to the last minute change in delivery, Carmack made our move effortless. Their crew worked quickly in unloading a single family home, with over 100 boxes and another 100 non-boxed items. They even created shelving in the truck for some of our hunting trophies. They were very careful with packing it all in, securely and tightly. The only thing that would have been even more helpful was faster confirmation of shipping and arrival time in Florida. It seemed no one could tell us exactly when our items would arrive in Florida. Not having more than 48hr notice made it difficult to plan for some quick home renovations in our new home. Ultimately, we asked them to delay the delivery and they were very flexible and helpful but we did pay a small additional fee for the delay (which we probably could have avoided if we had earlier confirmation of arrival of the items). It was one aspect of the move that was a little frustrating but overall a very successful move and would highly recommend them again. They shipped us an item (a small tv) that they had forgotten to deliver off their truck (and we had forgotten about completely!).
