They painstakingly ensured the sprinkler heads were properly positioned to ensure total coverage after major landscaping work was preformed on one of the hottest days of the year.     Superior was on time and performed the work within my expectations. My only critique was they asked for a map of our septic system the day they needed it which left me scrambling, but otherwise, great customer service and professionalism. They installed sprinkler heads specific to our property's shape and needs with 12 zones. I enjoyed working with them. The cost was $500 per zone with the hydrawise upgrade ($265).

    Crew tore up my yard, owner yelled at me, and they left Overall, I gave Maple a $1,600 deposit and in exchange, they tore up my yard, the owner yelled at me, said the work would cost $1,500 more than estimated, called me a criminal multiple times, tried to provoke an actual fight, and left without doing any of the work promised. And I lost 2.5 weeks where I could have been getting an honest company to do the work. They did at least refund my $1,600 deposit. Details: About a year ago, I got quotes from several companies to install a sprinkler system for either part or all of our yard. We chose to wait on the work. About a year later, we decided to try again and contacted the companies for updated estimates. Maple's updated estimate did not say whether it was for all or only part of the yard. So, I wrote them saying ���I have lost track of how much of our yard this will cover. Could you confirm if this will cover both sides of our front yard (divided by driveway) and our back yard?.... I'd like to confirm what the system would cover before signing the proposal. I'd like the system to cover the entire property.��� Maple's office manager wrote me back ���I just spoke with Tim [Maple's owner] and the estimate is for your entire property.��� Based on that, I sent in the required 50% deposit ($1,600) and waited for the earliest available appointment that was 17 days later. On the scheduled morning, my wife heard something and looked outside to see the crew had arrived and without letting us know they were there, they started cutting big holes in our yard and taking big chunks of grass out of our yard. My wife went out. Tim, Maple's owner, said that he thought we had a smaller yard, that his estimate was only for part of our yard, and that to do the whole yard, it would be an additional $1,500 beyond the estimate he had given us ($4,700 total). I found the email from Maple's office that had said the estimate was for the "entire property" and went to talk to Tim. He immediately started yelling at me, told me I was a criminal trying to pull something, and said that he didn't care what the office said about the estimate being for the whole yard, that his office didn't know anything about sprinklers. I asked him why he was yelling at me. He continued to yell. He yelled that there was no company that would install a sprinkler system for our whole yard for the price he quoted us. In fact, I had estimates from other companies to do so for within $150 of his estimate (not $1,500 more like he said he would charge). I told him that his crew had dug up our recently planted grass that probably wouldn't grow back [this summer]. He continued to yell at me and I lost my temper and started yelling at him. Tim got in my face and continued to yell at me. I told him he was doing a bait-and-switch, it was illegal, and he needed to get off my property. He went onto the edge of my driveway and continued to yell at me. I told him he needed to shut up. He told me "Why don't you come out here and make me?!" I threatened to call the police. They left. I can't imagine that Maple works like this all the time. But I would recommend not taking the chance. You want to do business with a company that if they make a mistake, works to make up for it--not one whose owner yells at you, calls you a criminal, tries to provoke a fight, and leaves without doing any of the work they said they would.

    The team was extremely professional. They were on time and did a great job! You could hardly tell that they had done any work they cleaned up so nicely. It's an expensive job, but we were willing to pay a little bit more for quality work. We're very happy.

    AFFORDABLE LAWN SPRINKLERS & LIGHTING
    Called and scheduled appointment for an evaluation of one zone that was not functioning correctly.  Unfortunately since he didn't arrive as promised I had to call their office to check status.  I was informed that an emergency situation arose and he was to arrive in approximately 3 hours but they would call me shortly before arrival.  They did call as promised and spent 1 hour with me determining the problem and fix required.  I scheduled the repair and received a reminder phone call and email the day prior to the repair.  The two servicemen arrived on time.  They repaired the zone and replaced 3 heads.  They were very pleasant, knowledgeable and worked really hard in very hot weather; and my sprinkler system is now working in its entirety.  The cost included both the 1 hour spent evaluating the problem and the time spent for the repair.  I have signed up for future maintenance of my system and would definitely recommend this company.

    In May 2013 they were to start up my system.  Please bear in mind that Interstate Irrigation is the only provider of service for my system for the last several years.  When the tech finally arrived he told me that my system wasn't working and a wire was disconnected.  The only techs that have maintained my system were from this company.  The tech proceeded to replace components in the control box.  I had to contact the company a few days later because my system still wasn't functioning correctly.  In June 2013 the rain sensor was not working and when the tech arrived he told me that the rain sensor had been disconnected.  The shutdown was scheduled the end of November 2013.  At that point due to the cold weather the system was frozen and when the system was started up in April 2014 the backflow was leaking and I had to spend a great deal of money for them to correct the problem they created.  Because of the problems with the 2013 shutdown I contacted the company and requested the shutdown earlier in 2014.  They refused to visit any earlier because the end of November was their schedule for my location.  My landscaper was kind enough to send one of his employees to my house to shutdown my system.  When the system was started up again on 4/8/2015 I had a problem with one of the zones and I needed to have the line replaced.  I was quoted a price that I felt was very high.  I contacted the office and left a message for a call back to discuss the cost.  I never received a call back.  I have terminated my relationship with this company and would not recommend their services to anyone.  I am now using the services of another provider.  They are knowledgeable, arrive as scheduled and their prices are more reasonable.

    Zone 4 would not shut off.  We had two previous service calls with other technicians, but Shawn was able to diagnose and fix the problem.  (Evidently it was not easy to diagnose.)  We are very appreciative and now can run our system again.
