Great, they exceeded our expectations! We interviewed 3 moving companies but as soon as we met Todd Tintle (owner) we knew he was an honest caring person. He owns all of his own equipment, trucks, etc & he uses only trained professionals to assist him. Todd drives the truck, does the estimates & does much of the heavy lifting too. Todd was in contact as often as needed before the move & gave us his cell # for any questions or changes that may arise. Todd's wife packed the kitchen & all of the fragile stuff, NOTHING was broken or damaged in the move! They covered the floors, railings & were very careful to not nick/scratch the walls or the furniture. They are very professional crew who just worked from the time they arrived until the job was done. It could not have gone smoother, I highly recommend them to anyone moving locally or long distance and the price they charged was the lowest of the 3 estimates we received too!

The move wasn't a easy move I had flight of stairs and a lot of heavy dressers and cabinets, but cortez and his workers were easy to talk to and very professional to deal with they started up stairs and worked there through the house I was very impressed with the pace they worked at and even more impressed on how fast they loaded the truck. He moved me out of state to Virginia and the price was well in my range unlike other companies sometimes be too expensive. When we arrived at my destination I just knew things had broken and shifted around but to my appeal they were not and nothing had moved. I highly recommend anybody that's moving a long distance call Cortez's Helping Hand you won't be let down.

Amazing!!!! They were super fast and know how to pack a pod to the hilt!!!! They were super strong. I mean we had some super heavy pieces and awkward to get down two flights of stairs. The 2 guys worked like 6 guys i am not kidding!!!

They did an excellent job. They went above and beyond. It was very time efficient and fulfilled our time frame. They helped set up our bed frame and put everything where we asked them to put it. They were very professional too.

The only issue I had with this service was that they lost my Dyson Vacuum amidst some repacking of a truck. They have offered to pay to replace it. Otherwise I was very satisfied with their services. They had 6 people pack up my things and load everything up, but only two people to drive and unpack. It took those two gentleman about 10 hours, but they were extremely hardworking, diligent, and polite. They were very conscienscious about the items being moved and careful to not do any damage to my things.

Recommended by the folks at the storage place where I intended to store my boxes.  They recommended  John Duker,  the owner of the moving company  who responded quickly to my request and picked up the goods when they said they would.  A big help to me was the fact that John Duker uses email to verify details making it easy to schedule.

I called Quality Services Moving because my family and I have always had great exeriences with them. We have always dealt with the Richmond/Chesterfield office, and for some reason, I was referred to the Lorton office for this move. Their estimator came to the house as scheduled, did the walkthrough and emailed an estimated quote. The night before the move, the estimator sent me an email informing me that he had underestimated the quote by $500.00. He promised to "make it right".  (I'm still waiting for him to "make it right"). My understanding was that my belongings would be loaded into storage containers on the truck, locked/sealed and the entire container would be off-loaded into the storage facility until it was time to deliver.
When delivery day came, the truck showed up on time with a crew of four, out of which only two spoke English.  As the boxes came off the truck, it became glaringly obvious that there was no order to them; i.e., boxes destined for the master bedroom came out with boxes going to the garage, or the kitchen, or the family room.  One of the movers dropped the entire stack of boxes wherever the top box said it went.  I found out well into the move that everything that had been loaded into the truck when I moved out of my house, had been unloaded into a storage facility, and then loaded back into the truck when it was time for delivery. My belongings had been handled/moved FOUR times; which came in very handly to the movers when it came time to point fingers,  I had broken furniture, broken glass shelves out of a curio cabinet (which Quality Services wrapped/packed for the move), crushed boxes, boxes which had been opened.  "Fragile" was evidently an Italian word that they simply did not understand.  One of my boxes was clearly marked "Very Fragile - DO NOT PLACE ANYTHING ON TOP OF BOX".....I found this box at the bottom of a pile of other boxes.   My $4000.00 king-size Tempurpedic mattress looked like a truck had run over it -- the cover had holes in it and was covered in dirt, grease and oil.  To add insult to injury, the following day I received an email from the accounting department telling me that they had "forgotten" to add the storage fees to the total and wanted my approval to run the charge against the card I had used to pay for the move..  I asked them to mail me an invoice since I haven't a clue where the movers put my printer when they moved it in yesterday.
Do yourself a favor.....if you decide to hire Quality Services Moving, make sure you are dealing with the Chesterfield(Richmond) office, NOT the Lorton Office.
