    Burgess Plumbing Inc.
Burgess was brought in by sellers of a home to inspects suspicious work in the master shower and tub area. His written assessment is that the damage was from prior leakage and no further action was necessary.
Within a year, we started to see water stains on the ceiling tiles in the room below the shower. After some time of trying to fix it personally, brought in another contractor. He was able to tell immediately that the shower had been installed and quot;fraudulently.and quot; Turns out, the entire sub floor was rotten, to the point you could scoop out wood with your bare hand. Clearly, it has been leaking for years.
When confronted, Burgess said he and quot;ran waterand quot; and didn't see a leak and the he and quot;did what he was told to do.and quot; So we are stuck with a $3,500 repair bill because all he did was run some water and look for obvious signs rather than really doing what we asked which was find out if there was a leak. We relied on his assessment in the purchase of a home, and now he won't back up his assessment.

    HINES GROUP LLC
We contracted The Hine Group to build a custom home that had features that required detail to workmanship.  Based on their portfolio and their word, we engage them to build our home.  However, the project was poorly supervised, had many unexplained deplays which cost us dearly, secured subcontractors that provided poor and unadequate work.  Had the project been better supervised, the quality of the work could have been easily remedied. Once in the home, we began finding shortcuts in installation, ghastly drywall and painting work, and began questioning many more aspects of the job.  The Hine Group abondoned the project before it was completed. At that time,  we closely scrutenized the invoices and realized there were things that sudcontractors had agreed to do, but did not,.  We were billed for materials that we never received nor did we receive credit for unused materials. Attempts to remedy the situation has been made with promises but nothing else.

    Eastern Applicators Inc
Eastern Applicators was secured as a subcontractor by the general contractor for our custom built home.  They were contracted to do both the drywall and the painting throughout the house.  We were told that the drywall finish would be the highest quality finish, a "level 5" which is achieved by shining lights on the drywall finsh to ensure that the surface would be free of irregualrities, holes, etc.  Eastern Applicators also painted walls, trim and doors throughout the house.  Only after we were in the home did sunlight reveal  the most unsightly finishes on the drywall and painting.  Not only are the areas around electrical boxes highly irregular, but there are large areas throughout that still show trowel marks from the first coat of drywall compound.  The painting job was also subpar. They failed to adequately cover installed cabinetry, marble counter tops, hardwood and travertine floors, custom door hinges and light fixtures.  There was and still is over spray of paint, paint runs and paint brush marks on all of these items.  Sunlight reveals areas of the door trim to to have been painted around hinges leaving exposed base coat. Sunlight also reveals large areas of paint runs on walls and base board trim.  Some rooms we find evidence that the second coat was never applied.  A mysterious "alligatoring" on the painted wall surface has begun happening throughout the house.  Some of the paint has flaked away to the drywall board underneath.  Upon contacting other professional paint contractors and suppliers, we have been told that this happens when the surface is not clean prior to painting.  How naive we were in assuming that Eastern Applicators would send experience drywallers and painters to the job giving us the finishes that we were told and tought we would get.  NOT SO!!  Their onsite supervisor failed to oversee the inexperienced labors and ensure that the work was done adequately.  Not reliable.

    Fortress Construction LLC
Brilliant! Darel gave me a good estimate, kept to his word and did excellent work.  He always puts in a long hard day's work and the quality of his craftsmanship is outstanding. I have used him four times now, because he previously insulated and remodeled my upstairs rooms, took out my old shower unit and installed new framing and insulation for the new bath and tiled the walls, and fitted new plumbing.  He also built a beautiful patio area outside my kitchen. He is honest, reliable and completely trustworthy. I love that I can explain to him what I want, and together come up with a design plan, and then he brings it to life.  I am always completely happy with the results because his finishing touches, care and attention to detail make his work solid, lasting and beautiful.  Thanks, Darel!

Was very pleased with the response I received. Called that morning, they were there that afternoon. They came back within an hour of being called to tell them I still had a problem.
