    Water Works Water Treatment
We built our home in 2011 and Water Works put in the Kinetico water softener and reverse osmosis systems. We chose them because Kinetico was HIGHLY recommended by others who have used their systems. We liked the reverse osmosis idea as we are on deep well water and do have a little lime scale from the tap that we didn't want to build up in our appliances or use in cooking, and ice made with the untreated water was "flakey". (Also, you just never know what might find it's way into your well water, even though it is initially fine...) Water Works has been a top-notch company every step of the way. They are professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and just really nice people! I cannot praise them too highly. The only reason I gave them a "B" on price is because I always wish everything didn't cost so much; but to be fair, "you get what you pay for", and Water Works has never, ever disappointed. I am very, very pleased with them!!

    Clearwater Plumbing & Pump Service
Kevin Reinhold is excellent.  He came to the rescue when our builders plumber could not install the orafice on our gas dryer prior to our moving in.  Even helping to move the washer into the laundry room.  When we called him back he voluntarily looked over the new build plumbing and fixed several areas that were potential for future leaks due to poor installation.  He quoted the work, made recommendations for fixing our issues: hard water and 10+ minutes to get hot water to the second floor.  He came back quickly to do the work.  He was not prepared to patch the drywall he had to cut for the pump, but otherwise cleaned up and you wouldn't have known he was there.  He didn't just leave the drywall, we discussed it.
Also worth mentioning, he uses email and returns voice mail, I rarely had to wait for a reply even if not urgent. He is my new plumber!  Fantastic.

Roto-Rooter has come to our aid three or four times and they are expensive but they are extremely dependable.  They are very professional and well trained and they know what they are doing. I have no other local person in this county that I would recommend for pluming. He took about hour and half to do the whole thing correctly and it will work for probably the next years. They are well trained and certified. We called and they guy came and checked it out on a Sunday evening.
They are about 35 miles from us. In the past they have replaced galvanized pipe for us. when we had the addition put on we had a fire place in the basement of the older house I wanted gas and someone told us that there was no way we could get that done. When Roto-Rooter was here doing plumbing I said something to the man about it when he was in the basement working and he said it sure can be done and he explained how to do it.  Roto-Rooter set up a beautiful gas fire place for us in the basement.

    One Stop Home Services
It was okay. It could have been better if they clarified everything up front. I ended up being happy with the job but had to really discuss the job with them to get everything covered. Everything seems to be working and I have had no complaints from the tenant. They came out promptly as well.

    Frank's Pump & Repair Shop
Great service! Arrived on time, answered all our questions, worked quickly and effectively. No hard sell; lots of good advice and general information about well pump/filter operation and upkeep.

    Culligan/Stoner Quality Water
Worked quickly and effectively.  Took time to show us key parts of the system, explained ongoing maintenance we needed to handle, things to watch out for. The Service Technician was running late - due to unexpected extra time on earlier service calls - but the central dispatch office called us to let us know about the delay...revised the expected arrival time.

    They never finished the job.
After two days, I started calling. My phone calls were never answered, nor did they answer my voice mail messages. After two weeks, I had to fill the hole in the ground they had left.

    Blue Ridge Water Treatment
After dealing for about 9 years with a not-so-reliable Rainsoft-authorized service outfit located in Harrisonburg, I finally (somehow) was able to use Blue Ridge Water Treatment for the annual system inspection/adjustment and UV bulb replacement. Though it took a while to set up the service visit, once it happened I was very pleased. The technician Robert was prompt, courteous, and professional. His knowledge of Rainsoft equipment and associated plumbing was comprehensive, detailed, and confidence-inspiring. Beyond the careful service he provided, he made suggestions for a relatively inexpensive system control upgrade that will likely extend the life of the softener and reduce the likelihood of a future, leaky failure. Overall, an excellent experience- my only gripe is the price of the work, but that's just the going rate- the grade of C for price doesn't reflect on the company. Bravo, Robert and BRWT!!!! I definitely recommend this company!

    Frank's Pump & Repair Shop
These folks are great! Our well pump went out late one afternoon... no water! We had used this company 14 years ago o install the pump originally. We thought it would have to be replaced and expected to pay about $1000 or so. We called them and a man came out immediately. He assessed the situation, made sure we had another source of water for overnight, and came back the next morning with some help. They showed up when they said they would both times and were pleasant and friendly. The pump is old, but Frank advised us that he could fix it rather than replace it if we wanted -- even said that's what he would do in our situation, I appreciated the fact that although he could have gotten a new pump sale out of it, he offered us the choice. We did choose to have it repaired, and have had no trouble since then. I would recommend them most highly.

    Scott Rochelle
Scott responded immediately to a call about a hot water heater problem. He came within one hour and the heater was repaired within an hour at a very reasonable cost. We have used him previously and found him just as responsive and thorough.
