    Mark Home Repair
My mother lives in a home that hasn't had maintenance on it for years! Mark came in to do some smaller projects for me. The house had a 60 year old toilet in it which I wanted replaced. When you take on a project like that it requires knowledge and proper parts to make old fit new. I just shook my head when he removed the old toilet thinking this will never work. He got it done and it works perfectly. It is difficult to find someone just to do the small jobs now days...they are all about the big money. You call and they either don't show up or don't call. I believe there is no project too big or small for Mark. He has been a lifesaver. I am going to keep him busy and I hope others will as well

    Wilco Construction
Do not engage this contractor!  He abandoned the project half-finished when we questioned the quality of his work, leaving us without a working bathroom or kitchen in our house. He did not finish ANY of the projects.
Here are some of the most agregious examples: (1)  Didn't properly prep sheet rock with primer before painting; (2) Sanded the floors by hand instead of renting the appropriate equipment - unsurprisingly, there are now uneven boards that still show notches; (3)  Didn't match the varnish correctly with the existing hardwood floors - now we have two colors; (3)  Moldings in the bathrooms did not meet properly in the corners, and were filled with caulk rather than being properly cut; (4)  Instead of taping the corner joints of sheet rock, he used wood molding.
The painting was also pretty abysmal.  If we just wanted to slap paint on the walls, we would do it ourselves.  We hired a contract to sand and smooth out the walls, paint the trim evenly, etc. Also, the painting was done after the floors were finished, and voila - now there are paint stains on the floors.
And to top it all off, he left us with a bunch of trash and debris littered throughout the house - we now have to hire a dumpster to cart it away.
