    Drs. Christopher & Favagehi Periodontists
Excellent. I have known Dr.’s Christopher and Favagehi for a good fifteen years during which he has implanted ten teeth in my mouth. They run a state-of-the art environment equipped with latest technology and treatment procedures that make you feel comfortable and confident in knowing you will have trouble-free results. Their professional staff is always attentive and responsive in a very friendly manner. Dr. Favagehi in particular is a very detailed-oriented dental implant expert who is transparent in sharing all possibile scenarios with you in a crystal clear manner. I never had any problems with any of my implants.—no bleeding, no pain, and no discomfort in chewing or eating food. Before working with Dr. Favagehi, I dreaded going to the dentist. With his patience and kindness in understanding my own anxieties with every procedure, Dr. Favagehi has helped me overcome my fears. Now I can smile confidently!

Dr. Patel is my oral surgeon. He did 4 surgeries on me in past 10 years: 1. Extraction of wisdom tooth-Involved strong complication with sinuses. There was a hole in gum that caused frequent infection over years. Dr. Patel used 3 layers to close it. After surgery, I had only 2 sinus infections in 9 years. 2.Molar implant- Local anesthesia was used. Surgery was painless and smooth. I never had an issue with implant after installation. 3.Abutment for implant- Once again, surgery went smooth. There was no pain during/after surgery. 4.Re-abutment for screwed crown- Outstanding surgery. Unfortunately, crown installed by general dentist (after previous abutment completed) fell off after 4+ years. I did not re-install crown in 5 years and gum tissue went thick. During re-abutment procedure, there was no pain with local shot, removal of excess gum tissue, and abutment procedure. Surgery took 7-10 minutes approximately. Altogether, being Dr. Patel’s patient for so many years,I can, doubtlessly, state that he is an outstanding, knowledgeable, dedicated, professional, and caring surgeon. In fact, I’d recommend him to anyone. It has been a pleasure to be in such good hands that genuinely heal patients with expertise and care for them. Thank you, Dr. Patel😊

    Cascades Center for Dental Health
(Posting for my father): I would caution Cascades billing practices, see below. My wife had extensive work done recently. The entire staff was extremely professional and competent. We are very pleased with the work that was done. I would caution, however, that the practice has some aggressive revenue generation efforts. I would advise to get written quote of all charges associated with the work to be done prior to treatment.

Late last November 2018 I had an infected root canal and the tooth could not be saved. I was advised to have the tooth pulled and then possibly an implant. I was extremely disturbed by the first two consultations with oral surgeons. Not comfortable at all with the doctors or the procedures they were suggesting. So I decided to get another consult with Dr. Rothman and am very glad I did. What a pleasant and calming bedside manner. No pressure or scare tactics either. Just lays out the facts. And very patient as well - I ask a lot of questions! So I chose him for my extraction and implant. The procedures went well. He had a difficult tooth to yank out from my jaw, but he was as gentle as he could possibly be. He frequently checked on my comfort during the extraction and implant procedures. His staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and responsive. A few days after my implant, I thought something came loose, and they squeezed me in promptly the very next day. Cost-wise, his fees were more reasonable than the other two surgeons I consulted as well. I'm very pleased I chose him and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Both implants failed within one year. The first one broke about a year after it as installed. The second one failed a little over a year later. I know there's no guarantee for dental implants but they should have lasted longer that one year.

    Hoffrichter, Dr. Mark S.
ABSOLUTE WORST Office Manager. I would never in a million years go back to this office. Instead of being helpful with my daughter’s oral surgery claim, Dr. Hoffrichter’s office manager was very rude and argumentative. I understand dealing with medical insurance can be frustrating, but arguing with patients and treating them with total disrespect is completely unacceptable. Trying to get my claim submitted correctly became a huge nightmare, and I have never been treated with such disrespect from a medical provider’s office. I would steer clear of this doctor until he hires a more professional office staff.

    PearlFection Dentistry
They never finished the job (the crown) because I complained that they wanted to bill me twice for the same service, once for a general dentist and once for an oral surgeon. Because I complained about their "double-dipping". I got a call from "Stew" Stringer, who identified himself as the "Owner" of Pearlfection Dentistry. That was a lie. He is not a dentist and is not even listed on their website. When I told him he could not be the owner because Maryland law requires that only a dentist can own such a practice, he immediately demoted himself to "general manager" because he knew I was right. Most of the negative online reviews for this practice relate to their (greedy) billing practices, not their technical skills or personalities. But virtually any complaint will draw a rebuttal from Stew that the complainant is just some kind of disgruntled nut-job who is "hated" by his entire staff. Another lie from Stew. I interacted with only 2 other employees there, Dr. Perez, the oral surgeon, and a receptionist named Kaley. All interactions with Dr. Perez were professional and cordial. He is actually an active-duty Navy Commander who is "moonlighting" there one or two days a week. I am a retired physician and was an active-duty Navy Medical Officer for 5 years during the Vietnam war, at which time I also had a moonlighting job, in the E.R. of a civilian sugar-plantation hospital on Oahu while stationed at Pearl Harbor. We shared our military experiences pleasantly. I felt sorry for Kaley. She knew she was REQUIRED by Stew to deliver the bad news about his onerous financial policies. I could tell she was uncomfortable and nervous in trying to explain them, but I also understood that her job depended on following his orders to the letter, so I was never unpleasant to her. I simply indicated that I would leave this practice as a patient, rather than pay twice, and find another to complete the implant they started. If Stew wants to send a rebuttal to this message, I will be happy to report his many specific lies, with dates, chapter and verse!

IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A SURGEON THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU REMOVE YOUR TEETH WITH NO COMPASSION THEN GO HERE!!! Everything was rushed, Dr. Robinson is extremely lacking in bedside manner!! He talked extremely fast everything is as if he has to finish before the buzzer goes off! During my extraction I felt the pushing and pulling and could not remain seated to bear the pain .. however he did not care he kept going and told me to keep my legs down! Never asked was I ok! He had no regards!!!! He was out of the room and In the next room before I was out of the chair never said anything to me but you're done!!! I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME HERE to be seen by him! I'm sure they treat animals better than he treated me today! Most horrible experience of my life! & the staff looked like they are use to him treating his patients like ****! No compassion either handed me a bag and showed me the exit!
