    Body Works of Virginia Inc
I've done business with Body Works before. Even though the owner (Bill) died a year ago, the crew at the shop did a magnificent job on the repair. Since the dent was not that bad and new doors are no longer available, they chose to repair the door. Between "banging" out the dent and body putty work, they made it look smooth again. While the paint color had aged over 14 years, they did a perfect match of the color and blended it into the front fender and rear door so you'd never know anything had happened. What great work!

Got an on-the-spot estimate and info on dealing with my insurance company. Car repaired on time, job done well. Wish I'd asked about having minor scratched repaired too (at my expense) while car was being fixed.

Excellent work and communication. Very friendly and personable service. They even arranged the rental car to be delivered to their shop so there was no need for me to go anywhere else. Best part was the repair was done to perfection

This shop handled $7000 worth of damages from an insurance claim. The paint from the repairs did not match the original. Although the repairs are supposed to be covered as long as I own the vehicle, when I took it back to have them fix/match the paint they refused. Bottom line is this shop does poor work and does not stand by their word or guarantee.

    ROYAL AUTO BODY
The absolute worst body shop in the 26 years I have been driving and had dealt with. I had my 2009 BMW M3 repaired there that was referred by a local BMW dealer. My car was rear ended a few years ago about 3 or so. I had the work done right away. He took a little longer than average to have my car done. When it was finished it was not as expected, there was overspray from other cars in the front where I had no work done and he had to re-do the trunk lid on top and underneath. Fast forward to this week April 2016. I revisited the shop and spoke again to the owner Mr. Alli. He immediately remembered me.
I showed him the trunk lid he did, the CLEAR coat was peeling everywhere and bubbling. He shrugged started to show me others cars saying it was common. I turned his attention back to his quality of work and requested that he repair the defect in his work. He tried to give me lots of stories blaming PPG and they don't have any warranty on their products and he cant be responsible. I explained again that is between you and the vendor of your choice. I brought my car for a repair and showing you a defect. He said he only warranties paint for 2-2.5 years. Every bodyshop I have ever seen has lifetime warranty on paint. I asked him again, will you fix the defect. He said if you bring me the materials. I refused and he said he will not touch my car. Very SHADY character. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE.

    Dentmasters Tysons Corner
I had about 20 shallow dents on the top of my car from a brief hail storm a few weeks back. Because the car was fairly new I wanted to repair it but did not did not think it was worth the hassle (and cost) of a typical repair job. In researching options I came across some videos on "paintless dent repair" or PDR. This technique actually bends back (or pulls out) the dents via various techniques. Doing it this way keeps the original paint, making sanding/repainting unnecessary. Essentially, the car is brought back to its original condition.  It won't work for every kind of damage - especially where the paint is not intact, but for simple dents it looked like a very good option. Deciding to give it a try, I used Angie's List to find Dentmasters of Tysons. Reviews and videos/photos on their website looked good, so I sent in a request for an estimate with pictures via email. Paul Kordon returned my email within an hour with guesstimates but suggested that I come in so that he could review in person as the pictures did not show the dents very well. I did and in about 10 minutes had a written estimate that was lower than what he had originally guessed. I scheduled the work, dropped the car off in the morning a few days later and was provided a free loaner for the day.  By 2:00, I got a call that the work was done. The end result was just short of a miracle. All of the dents have been removed, and you can not tell that they had ever been there. The car looks new again! Given this experience I would highly recommend Dentmasters of Tysons and  will use them again when the next dent comes along. Paul was great to work with and a master craftsman. Everything worked out exactly as stated - the process and results are really amazing.

D & V has been an absolute pleasure to work with. I originally reached out via email to Kevin, the owner, about repairs for my car after I had been hit by another driver. He was very quick to respond and very polite. After our correspondence, I decided to send my car to D & V and I could not be happier. They were incredibly detailed and I have 100% faith in the work they did. Feel free to stop here or you can read the full story below.
Initially Geico gave an estimate of $2000 (to be fair, they don't look under the car at the first estimate) and while Geico offered lifetime guarantee on their work I didn't feel comfortable sending my car to one of their designated shops. Enter Darren. He
is a great guy, super nice, and took time to talk with me about what damage was found under the car. It was A LOT of work, including frame damage. I never once felt like he was in a rush to see another client. Same with the two ladies at the front desk. D & V's staff provided excellent customer service from day one all the way until completion.
Whoever cleaned my car, inside and out: THANK YOU! My car hasn't been so clean since I bought it a couple years ago. Living on a gravel road and being outdoorsy, my car went into the shop with dirt, dog hair, dust, mud, etc... It looks brand new and that was not something I expected since my car was in the shop for exterior repairs.
More important than the customer service, a clean car, and "good feels" is the outstanding work they've done. First, the new paint is seamless. Looking at my car you'd never know it was in a wreck. It drives beautifully and D & V has said they stand behind their work; that I can let them know if anything comes up. Second, my original date for pick up was last Friday. Upon pick up, Darren found a glitch in the parking brake. As it was part of an important function to the car, Darren didn't feel comfortable sending me home in my vehicle. While I was sad to not yet have my car, I was very happy that no corners were being cut. By Monday the issue was corrected and I was able to take my car home.
D & V handled everything with Geico. They became my weekly point of contact because while Geico's customer service was fine, I found myself looking to D & V more than Geico for progress reports and confirmation of extending my rental car (weekly updates). I understand the progress reports because D & V was doing the work but Geico always made me feel that my rental might expire and I'd be without a car (I was not at fault for the accident). D & V staff were just much more responsive and forthcoming with information than Geico (remember I said I felt like the only customer with D & V? In comparison, I could tell I was one of many with Geico and the Geico rep always seemed rushed.. I've been there and don't blame them but it was noticeable when compared to D & V).
10/10 would send my car to D & V again. I hope I never have to but they are now my first choice.
Big thanks to Kevin, Darren, the front desk staff, everyone who worked on my car and the poor soul who had to clean the interior. I am grateful for your work, genuine personalities, and very happy I followed a recommendation to send my car to your shop.

Andrew was my contact and he was very professional.  The work they did is perfect and their customer service is excellent.  I had this shop do a major project on my truck a few years ago and just had my car repaired there.  Both times there were minor issues after the vehicles were repaired and each time they were handled quickly.

    Seneca Auto Body
This is actually my second visit to Seneca and with the way driving is in this area, likely not my last. Although I do hope not to be putting them on my Christmas card list - at least not any time soon :-) Unfortunately a bad Friday turned worse when a very nice person tapped my car as I was waiting for a garage arm to go up and she was looking for a badge, perhaps thinking I was moving. I initially hoped it was just the screw marks from her SUV on my 2007 Honda Civic, but the folks at Seneca pointed out this long crack that meant a new bumper was required. Since I just spent considerably more on some work to remedy a misfortune with a nasty parking garage pillar, I wanted to get it done. Also, you could push on the bumper and see that the integrity was compromised. In my case, they worked with the individual to arrange payment and because of the year of my car, they use a bumper that I forgot the term for, but makes good fiscal sense. I'll likely be going back at some point for some more and quot;aggressiveand quot; door dings, so might be working towards that holiday car :-)
They were efficient, pleasant, knowledgeable, and my car looks great. They were also convenient and, with my initial work, where I went to another shop (big, bright, waiting room, lots of staff) that was recommended and way out of my way, more reasonably priced.

It went great...could not tell where any body work was done. He had to come back and wet sand the outback where he repainted and came when promised and finished the job. He's not only very good at his job...he acts like a true "pro"...which he is!
I would use him again without any hesitation.
