Im alive in spite of them, not because of them. If you have the option, seek prostate-related care with another provider. 5 of the doctors literally had their hands on me during my very miserable experience. The details are long, but suffice it to say that a second emergency surgery was required to remove a tube from my abdomen. Run; dont walk from this group.

While my initial experience at the Allergy Asthma & Immunology Institue in Landsdowne/Leesburg VA with Dr. Laura Ispas was initially positive -- it quickly went downhill after that and turned out to be a very negative experience overall. For my initial appointment, they did extensive allergy testing on my back -- of which I had numerous severe reactions. The Doctor was polite and even called me that evening to ensure that I was okay. Before starting my injections, I was also told I had to come back for food allergy testing as well via a blood test -- even though I've never complained or had any history of food allergies. Once the extensive testing was completed over 2 visits, I started my initial injections about two-weeks thereafter -- and this is where it all started to go downhill. First off, the office only offers injections 3-days per week with no dedicated staff for the injections. On numerous occassions, it was so busy that I had to wait outside the office in the hallway with a toddler and other patients -- in some cases waiting upwards of 90minutes just to get called to the back. Of course, once the injection is complete, you had to wait another 30 minutes to ensure there was no reaction before they would release you. 2Hrs for an injection is a little extreme -- especially when I was slated to get 3 injections per week for numerous months. Moreoever, on 2 separate occassions, the Doctor wasn't in the office during the supposed "available" injection times -- and I was subsequently sent home as the staff couldn't even tell me when the Doctor would return. So with that being said, and being tired of waiting upwards of 6hrs per week for 3 scheduled injections -- I decided enough was enough. After waiting again one late afternoon, I decided to ask the staff how to get a copy of my paperwork (with the intention of switching to a new office). In doing so, Dr. Laura Ispas overheard me talking to the staff and loudly started to ask "why I was asking for my paperwork". Instead of asking me to come to the back and talk to her privately, she put my business out there in front of all the existing patients in the waiting room -- even getting argumentative at times because of my decision to leave the office. It was so bad, that I had to finally tell her to simply respect my decision -- at which point she walked away agitated. And then it went from bad to worse. I'll save all the details, but in short, they slow-rolled my paperwork to the new office (took over 30 days despite HIPPA laws requiring them to do so) -- and only eventually sent it after I mentioned getting my attorney involved and reporting them to the BBB. So when my records were finally sent over, it was a complete mess and required new testing anyway. And to add insult to inury, Dr. Laura Ispas's office refused to send over any of my remaining allergy injection vials. So needless to say, my initial positive experience with Dr. Laura Ispas's Allergy & Immunology Institue when from bad, to ugly, to just downright pitiful and unethical. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Try this office at your own risk, but don't say you weren't warned. It blows me away that this office has as many positive reviews as it does -- it really makes you wonder... Thanks - Karen

Dr. Linda Himler was outstanding in all areas. She was professional, kind, thorough and did not rush us out the door. She was patient and accommodating to my Downs Syndrome sister. We highly recommend her!

Excellent first impression. The office was clean and comfortable. The staff was warm and welcoming. My appointment began on time. ???? Dr Ayoub sat down with me for quite some time reviewing my history. I really appreciate how engaged he was and how much time he gave to me as a first-time patient. He said that his goal is to make me feel confident during my pregnancy. I have to say that I am 100% confident in his hands. He is knowledgable, thorough, and genuinely cares about his patients. I'm thrilled to have made the decision to switch practices and join Dr Ayoub's.

    Beautiful office, multiple locations.
    Flexible hours, relatively easy scheduling.
Seemed like there was a lot of turn over and because of the size of the practice, I felt like no one really knew who I was.

I have been going there for the last 6 months. Their bedside manner is great. Everything about the office is good. I'm very happy with them. Whenever I go in, I usually schedule for an appointment ahead of time so usually the wait is not really there because I know when my appointments are. The wait time is only about 5 minutes.

For orthopedics, the group I go to is called Anderson Clinic. It is in Mount Vernon as well as Arlington Virginia. They are both affiliated, in other words the one in Mount Vernon is where they do their surgery along with the hospital that they are associated with and then they have an office in Arlington Virginia. They are absolutely the best you could find as far as I am concerned. They are just phenomenal. The cost was covered under my Medicare and my secondary insurance so I didn't pay anything. When the bills came in, the approximate cost and this is for the surgery, and of course there is the hospital,. there is the anesthesia and there is all of those other things, but the surgery alone for bilateral full knee replacement, which is important because they do a lot of different things, bilateral means both knees, full knee replacement was in the 1200 dollar range. I would rate the staff friendliness an 'A' plus.

He is just smart.  I use him for geriatric care and I have been really impressed by his service.  It’s a very small office so there is no waiting and everybody pretty much know what’s going on when you go in.

Dr. Shuman was very nice and able to squeeze me in quickly when I needed some help with a bad ingrown toenail and quickly fixed the issue! She was able to remove the side of my nail so that I never get an ingrown again and the toenail still looks quite normal. I'm really glad I had that procedure done and may actually go back to get it done on my other foot if my ingrown gets any worse. I actually went to see her after having a bad experience with another Podiatrist in the area and I'm really glad I went. I have also had plantar faciitis for several years now so Dr. Shuman was able to make me some custom orthodics. They are working pretty well right now, but I still may go back and get some cortisone shots. Her office is very clean and pleasant and her receptionist is very nice as well.

They are one of the largest HMOs. The staff and the office environment is excellent. My primary care physician is excellent. She is diligent in giving the right information, follow up, and communication. She is a whole package. I have been going to her for 5 years.
