    Builders Fence Co
Had my 25 year old estate fence replaced with a picket fence and it went extremely well. I mentioned to my next door neighbor that I was replacing my fence and she ended up getting part of her fence replaced also. They did both fences at the same time over two days. Wilbur and his partner were very efficient, skilled, neat, and respectful. Jarrod, our salesman, was good too. The company offered financing through Synchrony Bank. Won't be needing another fence anytime soon, but highly recommend.

    DJ Fence
We have nothing but good things to say about Lorenzo and his business. The price was right, Sergio (project manager) was great, the team was on time and worked extremely hard. Sergio did a good job of keeping us in the loop as the project was laid out so that there was no misunderstanding regarding coverage, gates, etc. Clean up was done very well. We had an excellent experience with DJ Fence. We wouldn't hesitate to work with DJ Fencing again.

    Moore Designs & Outdoor Living
I cannot say enough good things about Moore Designs! They made everything so easy--they obtained the permits, dealt with HOA, removed and disposed of our old deck. We received feedback from our HOA thanking us for the very detailed submission submitted by Moore Designs. In addition, the inspector praised the work, telling us that the deck was one of the best built decks he has ever inspected in the area. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

    Steadfast Construction Inc
My husband and I hired Steadfast Construction on the advice of our neighbors, who had a stellar experience with them when they hired Steadfast to build their deck, screened in porch, and patio. Based on how beautiful their construction project turned out, it was an easy decision for us. After reviewing three bids, just to be sure, Steadfast came out on top in terms of quality promised and delivered, design and construction expertise, proven track record, excellent customer service reviews, and, of course, value for the price. Our experience with Steadfast was equally as outstanding as our neighbors, and we now have a beautiful new deck, patio, and a shed. And, at every step in the process, Steadfast went above and beyond to ensure that the work was completed on time (except when the weather intervened - and they called us to explain the weather delay and the conditions that would allow them to resume work), to our satisfaction (to include hand picking the deck and railing in coordination with us over the phone and at no extra cost), and within our budget (explaining every item and at every step so there were no surprises). The invoicing was pristine, they handled all the permits and inspections, and worked with us on the design, even when we asked for something to be changed, such as building a fence, redoing our walkway, and having no middle posts so we had more open space under the deck to clean our kayaks and bikes. Everything is beautiful, functional, and solid. Everyone we worked with at and through Steadfast was fantastic--friendly, expert, thoughtful, and thorough. And, to top it off - their work is guaranteed for two years. We would highly recommend Steadfast.

    Adirondack Fence Builders
Extremely well, even though we experienced many obstacles before we could give them the go-ahead to proceed. How I prepared: Researched the county and HOA rules. Discovered I could get an 8 high privacy fence in the back because our property abuts a major road. Looked up fence laws on the county website. Found out that if a fence is built on a lot line, that both owners own half the fence and are responsible for half of the upkeep, so we wanted to be sure that our new fence was just inside our lot line. Got property surveys. Had to call them back because they didnt put stakes everywhere we needed Put up tape between the surveyors stakes so I that could be sure the fence avoided some trees on one neighbors side, still staying within our lot line. Services provided by Adirondack after I accepted proposal: Extensive e-mail exchange to identify and work through any issues that might come up on installation day. Helped me with HOA request by providing pictures of proposed fence and gate materials, and a drawing of the proposed fence placement on the property Worked with me during process of getting surveys, HOA approval, easement identification and avoidance, constant rain, and change in proposed fence line after surveys completed because we needed to avoid easements and large trees in the back of the property At my request, avoided using our driveway because it was recently resurfaced Planning around other contractors scheduled to work on the property (e.g. arborists and landscapers), and constant rainy days Day of installation at 7 a.m. Monday 11/26th: It rained all day, but the crew worked diligently and were able to finish in 2 days. They built the fence and gates on site rather than using prefabricated panels. Met with owner Rob, and foreman Jose to go over o EXACT fence placement (needed to be just inside property line, avoiding as few trees as possible in the wooded area in the back, and working with a large stump and the neighbors fence along one of the sides) o Went over every utility marking and compared it to photos I had taken when they were first marked. Rain had made them harder to see, but we located them and the crew was able to avoid the utilities. o Gate placement o Whether supporting parallel boards needed to go inside or outside the vertical boards. This was important because of HOA rules. o During the process, the foreman was putting up tape to mark the fence line. During installation o Foreman Jose asked me again about some of the fence placement, and which side I wanted the vertical boards on. Glad I was home to remind him of what I wanted. o They were patient when I went out to inspect several times, and after they had finished. Caveat I rated the price as an A but I selected Adirondack from reading reviews online rather than get competing bids. I was time-constrained, and because of delays not the fault of Adirondack, we barely got the fence put in before the weather became cold. It is important to me to have workers who are employees of the companies I hire, and are protected if they get injured. The price I paid was fair to me, especially as I watched them work in cold pouring rain, sitting on top of an 8 fence, hammering.

    Builders Fence Co
We were very satisfied with the overall fence project. The workmanship was outstanding, Jarrod was very responsive and helpful, we love the fence every day. We did have a couple of things that needed to be changed and that was done very quickly and efficiently. I'd definitely use this company again.

    Vicente Pro Handyman LLC
Excellent communication. Company requested list of items to be fixed before arriving. Workers did show up almost an hour later than original appointment, however, they worked hard and even through lunch to complete all tasks up to the full time allotment. They worked efficiently and quality of work was superb. Will definitely hire again for future jobs!

    Metro Green Fences & Decks
Cannot say enough good about these folks. Sorry it took so long to write this review. They came out right away to take a look at my issue. Flexible with schedule. Did the job quite well. New fencing looks great. Didn't need to be home. Didn't leave a mess. Actually, it was relatively small job (less than 40 lineal feet + a gate) and they where happy to do it and did a great job. Next house (assuming in the area), need fencing, will be the first call.

    Reston Painting & Contracting Inc
My fence has still not been completed. I asked them to redo a gate due to it being sized too short. That gate is still not fixed and I have had to lean it and tie it down, plus put some loose boards beside of it to prevent the deer from coming into my backyard and eating all my plants. I only have one gate, which sticks when it rains, that I can go out and it has been that way for almost a year. They installed a 42" gate instead of a 48" gate. They need to redo the fence to make it more private and replace broken stepping stones that were broken during the construction of the fence. The workmen deviated from the original placement of the fencing and also the way the gates opened without consulting me. When I confronted them, they said I couldn't have my gates opening on the right side. This problem was caused by the posts being installed incorrectly. Also subtract from my bill a fourth gate that was not installed and a section of fence that was never built. I paid them the deposit, but have not completed payment on the fence due to it not being completed. I asked them to contact me by email due to the issues that I have had with them denying what was said and delaying completing my fence over and over. Currently, my fence is without a third functioning gate and the second gate sticks when I try to open it especially after a rain. They sent me a second bill on 12/14/17 for the remaining balance, but have not responded to my last email dated October 2, 2017 or the one I sent them last week on June 20, 2018. I was told that they would talk with the owner and that they would get back to me. I am ashamed of my fence due to the crooked way it was put together. My gates have wide openings between the boards and boards aren't cut straight on the gates or the fence--anywhere. I didn't ask them to make a rough sloppy fence. I contracted for professional work and didn't get it. They were not the cheapest bid that I got. I believe in paying for quality work. Also, upon closer inspection the workmen placed fewer boards on the neighbor's side and that is why I am not getting very much privacy. The men building the gate took home the left over wood. I was told by the second contractor that the best wood from the load would be used for my fence. I have never seen such knotting on boards and the knots are cracking and holes are appearing. The prime contractor was not on site when the fence was being built. The second subcontract was there briefing the day the fence was started, but other than cell phone contact was not physically there. I was told by the men building the fence that the wood that was used would warp because it was number 2 wood. Some of the boards are starting to warp. Mostly what is happening is that the boards have numerous knots. The knots are cracking and there are holes appearing in the fence boards. This whole situation has been very depressing. All I want is for my fence to be completed in a professional manner with quality material and not have to deal with salesmen who deny me ever asking for a more private fence.

Would not call this company again. Asked for an estimate, they came out, thought the job would be a problem so they never contacted me back with an estimate. They think they are too good for their own business and have so much business they don't bother to call you back.
