    If I could give a rating higher than an A, I would. Brad and his assistants Michael and Will were exceptionally professional, skilled and polite. The removal of the existing sink and disposal, the installation of the new sink, faucet, disposal, supply and drain piping, and the work on our leaking toilet tank all were expertly accomplished. We could not be happier with the results and will definitely be using Clover for plumbing services in the future.

    My sump pump was starting to fail. Shane was able to confirm the problem and replace the sump pump. From initial call to replacement was one day. Excellent service! After work was complete, everything was cleaned up. Overall, professional service and efficient billing/invoicing/etc. I highly recommend DB. This is the second time I have used DB and both times have been great.

    One doesn't appreciate the luxury of hot water coming out of your faucet until it stops. We had a failure of our 16 year old, 75 gallon gas powered hot water heater and quickly realized how unpleasant life without hot water can be. I made a number of calls to get quotes to replace the unit and A-Adkins provided a very competitive quote ($2700 all inclusive, with a new Rheem power vent model and haul away of the old heater) and were able to schedule the work for two days out. Micah (one of the owners) and Zach (a technician) were punctual, pleasant and professional, and the work and clean up were done flawlessly. As I also needed to make sure my air conditioning systems were ready for summer, I had them do spring maintenance service on both of my central air units. For approximately $200, they serviced both systems and added refrigerant to one of them. I was so pleased with the quality of A-Adkins services that I plan on using them for all my HVAC needs going forward.

    Great - we love the results! The Toms (Sr. and Jr.) gutted our kitchen. They removed wallpaper and painted; rerouted gas, electric, plumbing and vents and added additional lighting; removed old cabinets, sink, and granite counter tops and replaced with new, as well as creating a new pantry; removed hardwood flooring, including in dining room, and installed new hardwood. In addition to several small jobs, this was the second time we have used them for a major re-do, the first being a full remodel of the master bath. Their help in picking and acquiring the needed components as well as their advice on the aesthetic aspects of both projects have been invaluable and have made this a lot easier for us. We will be using them again in a few weeks to extend the kitchen flooring into our living room and study.

    Work was prepaid through Angie's List. Handyman Mark arrived exactly on time, but left after 3 1/2 hours instead of 4 hours as purchased. He did not have a business card, wore a Home Depot hat, and did not give his full name. He did not complete #1 or #5, and with #6, he put in 4 extra holes in our mailbox and left the flag in a permanent "up" position. Homeowners ended up ordering a new flag and repairing the extra holes later. In the powder room toilet, which was working, he removed a chain in the tank, saying, "You don't need this," then later denied it to Scott, the HCC manager. At the end, the handyman wanted homeowners to sign a blank sheet of paper, then sat in his truck doing something, and left after 3 1/2 hours. Would not recommend using "Mark", unless you pay AFTER everything has been properly completed. Request a receipt and list of what was completed before signing.

    Wes showed up on time the same morning of my original call to Crown. He diagnosed my sump pump problem within ten minutes and I'm embarrassed to say it was a tripped GFCI circuit that my garage and backyard outlet shares. I should have known the first step of troubleshooting...check power source. After I reset GFCI in garage Wes verified the pump was working by observing several cycles. Sump pump replacement has been on my to do list for 15 year life and that's this year, so I'll be replacing both interior and exterior pumps in a couple of months. I'm going with a battery backup unit for the exterior sump. The prices for replacements are a skosh over the top end of my budget, but I'm impressed with the company, so I'll pay for the peace of mind.

    UPDATE ON SERVICE SINCE COMPLAINT: I am writing this update on my original complaint to let everyone know of the response from the company. I received a phone call from Ms. Wall at F.H. Furr on Monday 7/10 to discuss the problems that had occurred in late June. She listened to the entire issue and understood my concerns. Once listening to the story, we had a very nice conversation and she explained that she would like to try to remedy the situation and would call me back. She did call me back at on the date and time that she stated that she would. The company offered to refund $150 to us in the interest of trying to make the situation right. They did acknowledge that they dropped the ball on our case and that they were not pleased with the way that we were treated. They were also going to talk to the technician to ensure that it did not happen again. Although I appreciate the refund of $150, what I am most appreciative of is that they acknowledged the mistakes that were made. They have apologized (genuinely in my belief) and have tried to remedy the situation. I did explain to them that I was not going to completely remove this review; however, I do think that it is more than fair for an update to the story to be posted. Although we had problems initially, I would have to give their resolution department an "A" for their work. For these reasons, I am increasing their grade from a "D" to a "B".

    Basement Masters Waterproofing
    These guys were amazing. I've never seen contractors work so hard. They hand dug a ten foot trench around the affected part of the foundation (machinery destroys any landscaping). They put material on the outside to waterproof the walls, they put in drainage tiles and a pump to get rid of any water pressure on the foundation. Inside, they repaired the cracks and they have a patented process for adding strength to walls using carbon fiber straps (one of the remedies recommended by the structural engineer). We may sell the house next year or we may stay but foundation issues can scare off buyers and I wanted to be able to show the structural engineer's report and then show what we did. I'm very confident that the source of problem has been corrected.

    Awesome! Dale came out for a consultation appointment. He did some testing and recommended a system the would work for us. We asked for a quote and within 24 hours, we had a quote and had set up an appointment for install. Everything went off without a hitch. Dale is very personable, and answers any question with knowledge and made us feel confident about the system and their company. Just tonight I saw water coming from the tube into the sink. I was concerned because I had never seen it do that. I called the 24 hour number, and within 5 minutes Dale called. He reassured me that it was the regular cycle of the system, but told me to take down his number and call back if I was still concerned. I really like that I can reach someone knowledgeable about my system even at 8:45 pm on a Sunday night, and they are pleasant to converse with! I think that Valley Drilling is a great company, and I highly recommend them!
