ALonestar Siding & WindowsThe crew was top of the line. They arrived every day on the dot and I never had to worry if they understood the mission. They came in at 8 but my dogs and I slept until 9 or 10. This crew knew all the details and were very skilled in doing the work. It was a case of complete trust. They.Cleaned up after themselves every day. They put everything back in place. They could not have been any better. When I wanted to remove an eyesore kerosene tank, they even loaded that on the recipient's truck for me. The resulting house is gorgeous!You can feel safe if they are doing the job that your house will be in good hands. Normally after contractors have invaded your life for 3 weeks you are glad to see them go. We were glad to see them finish our now beautiful house, but we were also sad to see them go. While they were here they were so helpful that If I had 100 houses that needed windows, doors, and siding they would get the job every time. They transformed our aging and uninteresting 90 year old farmhouse into a stunning residence that must be seen to be appreciated (drive by 40 E Weaver Av in Harrisonburg). They don't advertise themselves as exterior home designers but the decisions we made together (and Alan is very patient and thoughtful) resulted in an exterior that literally transformed our house into a home we are proud of. The work they did along with the materials and colors we chose together are very harmonious with the age of the house. Nothing looks added on. Their work is not cheap but they present excellent value: Our home is worth a lot more now than when they began their work. Highly recommended! AValley RoofingOur home had some very sagging and beat up gutters when we purchased it. Alan come out and gave me an honest estimate without trying to sell me extras or scare me into upgrades. The crew that replaced the gutters worked hard and were very considerate to not damage landscaping, didn't let nails laying around, and cleaned up thoroughly. One of my corner pieces sprung a leak with the first rain after installation and Alan sent someone out ASAP to replace the piece. I highly recommend Valley Roofing and will be using them again for any roofing/gutter needs or repairs.- Chad W.

AValley RoofingWithin several days notice, Alan Martin arrived at an agreed upon time to evaluate roofing related problems at my new home. Later that day he presented me with a detailed estimate and work proposal. I agreed to his proposal several days later, and work-3 days-commenced about two weeks later. A prior home inspection report had suggested the roofing related defects of the home were a crucial and likely expensive item that needed to be dealt with. Valley Roofing patiently explained their approach and the negatives including shingles immanently coming loose, and eventual water damage to the basement from inadequate drain spouts if corrective work weren't to be done. Also, suggested the positive of money saving gutter covers-less need for annual cleaning. With work now completed my home faces fewer risks, and it looks great. At least the roofing portion. ANELSON'S GUTTER & LAWN SERVICEHe was great, but he is no longer in the area. He bought a restaurant in North Carolina. I am trying to get him back to fix something. I am having a hard time because he is North Carolina now. I am not sure if he is trying to keep his business rolling up here. I had a lot of ice storms and he did a great job of putting up the gutters. They were wonderful. Then the ice storms sheared them in half. So, I have water running everywhere and I want him to come back to redo the work. He came out and gave me an estimate, which was great. I know it is hard for him as he is living in two places. When he did the original work, I spent about $1200. I am hoping that he can come out and redo the work for me soon.- margaret m.

AThey were great. Respond the next day after contacting them in Angies List and cane out within the week. Gave us a great price and set up the appointment right away. They got the gutters to match perfect and took all the old gutters away. They look perfect and we didn’t know how bad our gutters were until they put up the new ones and how nice our house looks now. I highly recommend them!!! They were fast, professional, and super nice.

AThe company representative was on time and very professional. In the end, he concluded that due to the unique configuration of our roof structure, the Gutter Helmet system could not be used properly for a portion of the project and declined to bid. I found this unique and refreshing and would be inclined to use Mr. Fix-It in Richmond, VA for any project that was within their scope.

AAlan, Sean, Ryan and the rest of their team did an excellent job with my room. Their attention to details and concern about quality and customer satisfaction were amazing. They worked with me very closely as we refined details throughout the course of the project. When they needed to use sub contractors, the caliber of their sub contractors was just as high as their own team members. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who was wanting to build a sun room (and based on the experience working with them, I have to believe that they should be highly recommended for the other services that they provide).

FHorrible Company!!! I hired Remodel USA to remodel my kitchen in December 2019. I was so excited about my new kitchen and the salesperson did a great job hooking me. Even the president of the company called and thanked me for choosing them. I thought I found the best company but unfortunately once they got my deposit I discovered that they are a nightmare. I called for months trying to figure out when they were going to start the work and the once they did show up they just tore everything up and left me with a huge mess that I now have to pay someone else to fix. Not one permit was pulled despite being told it was being done and that the city was asking for this or that to justify delay after delay. Then when confronted they tried to say that permits were not needed even though the city assured me that that was not correct. And confronting them was another issue all together. No one knows what is going on from the top on down. Poor communication and dishonest business practices are their staple. Don’t let these guys take advantage of another person.
