    Harrisonburg Shoe Repair
"Sit down and let me tell you the story of how I dodged a bullet and how they lost a customer. In February I called to see if they had ever resoled Christian Louis Vuitton shoes and they assured me they had. I said I'd bring my shoes in in a few weeks and he went ahead and ordered the red Vibram soles. Two weeks later, on the first week of March I took them in. The replacement soles were there and after carefully discussing what would be done and *when* they charged me $46 and I left with the understanding that they'd be done "By Monday of next week". Monday of next week arrives and I come back, a little nervous since these shoes have great sentimental value to me (not to mention their actual price tag was more than $600). When I walk in they're "super apologetic" because they "needed a special type of glue" but that should "be in by Wednesday" so I'd need to come back next week. When I asked why they hadn't had the courtesy to call and tell me, he said that he had "called and left a message" and then read my number to me, asking if it was correct. I hadn't received either but I gave them the benefit of the doubt since he was brave enough to be so bold in his claims. I was pretty upset because I'd made it clear that I needed the shoes by the weekend of the 12th of March. The young guy apologized and I decided to take them so that I could still wear them and bring them back later the next week. I kept my shoes for a few days, returning them and the same guy promised me that he'd have them "by Monday". I told him please to call me if that didn't happen. I go in on the following Wednesday and they have a handwritten sign on the door saying that they're closed early due to some excuse. Fine. I call asking them to call me to tell me if I need to wait longer. No one has the decency to call back. I come back *a week later* thinking this is plenty of time. I get told that "next week". My patience was running so thin by this point but I didn't want them to do a poor job because I kirked out, so, I said ok and I'd be back the next week. I come back on Friday and they have another handwritten note saying they're closed for the rest of the week due to "an elbow injury". I was *LIVID* because it's been a month and not only had they *NEVER* called me, but they still had my shoes. That day I left a very detailed message saying I expected a phone call, left my number *three times* in the message and said I was very disappointed in their terrible service. No call. I walk in yesterday and the guy took ten minutes to acknowledge my presence while he "diligently worked" on a customer's shoes. He was working with no elbow brace, no sling, he didn't even have the decency to cut up a tube sock and make it look like a brace. This guy just lies. Then, he pretends to have trouble placing me. I just stood there and let him look unprofessional all on his own. He then tries to tell me he's "so sorry" but "they'll be ready by next week" HAHAHA so I just asked for my shoes and my money. He gave it to me with no problem because he knew he couldn't have handled them. I was refunded $46 and my shoes were intact. Thank goodness. I went to the other place in Harrisonburg and the cobbler there (who has 40 years of experience and the cleanest little shop) said he would have it done in five days. I asked about this mystery glue. He laughed and said he doubted there was "special glue". He said it would be $16 and I could pay when the job was finished. I'm waiting to see how that goes to write that review. When I walked out I decided I would tell anyone who'd listen, and I'm investing the $30 I "saved" in memberships to websites like Angie's List so I can further warn people that these guys at The Harrisonburg Shoe "Repair" are extremely unprofessional and as far as I'm concerned, unskilled."

I  am going to wear it every day!  They are very friendly people.  What I like about them is that they don't rip you off, and they use genuine stone.  They don't want  to have inferior products, or things that are synthetic.  They are very credible and their materials are excellent.

They took a round wedding ring and standard it to the setting. It was a perfect fit, the sizing was perfect. I did not have to wait it was done there on premiss. They gave good service and were easy to work with. I went to them later with a pin I found that was missing a couple pink cubic zirconium and they fixed everything instant. Their service is very quick and both times I did not have to wait.
