I take my car to Valley Volkswagen for all repairs and scheduled maintenance. The last scheduled maintenance was an 80K service for my Jetta TDI. I've always found the folks at Valley VW to be trustworthy, knowledgeable, and competent, and their service is great! Work is done on time, high quality, and their prices are better than other shops I've checked for routine maintenance. They also have a very comfortable waiting room, free wi-fi, shuttle service and loaner cars available. I only wish they had a shop in Harrisonburg.

    JD Byrider
Save yourself a HUGE amount of trouble and headache. Do NOT go to J.D. Byrider. They get their cars from dealer auctions for about $1,500.00 and you will pay over $10,000.00 for it. They are the perfect con artists. They shine the cars up and make them sound good, but YOU WILL DRIVE OFF THE LOT WITH A CRAP CAR! And once you sign the contract, you are stuck with that crap car. Your options are:
    1. Pay it off
    2. Sell it for what you have left to pay on it (Which will NEVER happen)
    3. Try to go to another dealer that will pay it off as a trade-in (Which will NEVER happen)
They prey on people that are down on their luck and need a car fast. They con you into believing you are getting a decent, reliable car and will be backed by exceptional customer service and care. When in reality, you are getting a piece of junk that will be serviced by mediocre service technicians, that will do mediocre work and will leave you with more problems, that will be costly and time consuming and once you're bound to that contract, they don't give a rats behind about you.
Save your money, go to an auction if you're looking for a inexpensive car. You will save a ton of money in the long run.

I needed a new(er) car for my 4 hour daily commute & my 94 Civic wouldnt have been able to make it (plus I needed to build my credit). We have known Wease for a while & have purchased a few vehicles from him (mostly clunkers bc we needed something fast). I know he has helped people build credit & that's exactly what I needed being fresh out of college with the only credit I had being loans I hadnt started to pay back yet. I test drove it 3 times total & no problems, ran beautifully, had my mechanic check it for leaks, odd sounds, etc. The day I sign the papers & I drive off with it, THREE HOURS LATER the check engine light comes on. After doing a check w/Autozone, turns out there may be some big problems or there may be some small issues (either way $$$ bc it's foreign). Going back to see what can be done because I will not stand for this, I cant afford to. I will not be purchasing again, that's for sure. Biggest mistake I've ever made.
