    Called this business on behalf of a family member. Two people were at the home when the representative arrived. According to them, he spent roughly five minutes in the house. He said the heating element was bad, and he would be in touch when he had the parts. Also, according to the two present, he barely talked to them. After more than a week went by, and the dishwasher was still unusable, I assumed this business had abandoned our request for help. We called another appliance repair company. Turns out that it WAS NOT the heating element that was broken, but instead the electrical panel. Matt's Appliance Service took all of five minutes to misdiagnose a problem. A month later, I get a call from Matt's that our parts are in for the dishwasher. Where had they been before this? When I told them we had it fixed by another company, I heard "We've been trying to call you, on the two numbers we had for you." This was the first phone call I had gotten from them. I checked with the owner of the second number they had, and there was no record of Matt's calling. They apparently had no problem emailing me an invoice for a service visit yesterday. If they had my email address, why didn't they email me? I am disgusted that we are being charged $75 for a five minute visit, little discussion with those living there, apparently no diagnostic testing, and a wrong diagnosis, to boot. DO NOT use this business, if you want your appliance actually repaired. Very poor customer service.

    I called and spoke with several services in the area who were all several days out including Park View. I explained to them a problem I was going to run into logistically and Park View found a way to work me in quickly. They were extremely friendly, prompt and professional. The pricing was very reasonable for the level of service received.

    Called on Monday (11/2). Replied on Tuesday (11/3). Setup date for Wednesday (11/4). He came on Tuesday and ordered part.  Setup date to install for Friday (11/6). Called Thursday and offered to install Thursday afternoon (around 4:30 pm). We decided that Friday would be fine. He arrived promptly at 8:30 am. Cleaned coils in back of refrigerator and was finished by 9:30 am.

    Our dishwasher stopped working last Saturday night, so on Monday we called Park View based on other reviews here. We were the third call of the day, and the repairman was here for about 30 minutes and diagnosed the problem while calling Frigidaire twice to make sure he was giving us the correct information. The control panel needed to be replaced, and if that wasn't it, then it was the panel on the outside of the dishwasher. He explained that on most dishwashers, you can tell which one needs replacing, but unfortunately, our model wasn't as straight-forward. So he ordered the panel on Monday and was at our house this morning to replace it, and the dishwasher is working now. Very competent and professional.

    My dishwasher began leaking. The repairman came and diagnosed the problem as a broken connector. They did not have the part in stock, but had to order it. Three or four days later they returned and finished the job. The repairs were completed satisfactorily, and the dishwasher is working fine now.

    All persons we contacted, from those who answered to the phone to the one performing the service call were extremely professional.This is the third major appliance that they have serviced over the years including a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and now the dryer.I will definitely call them again.

    A & E SERVICES
    I went to Maytag site to get repairs on Maytag Neptune Washer. They set up appointment with A&E Factory Service and I have confirmed they (Maytag) will not provide any other alternative in DC area (I am in Fairfax VA). A&E had our home phone, and was to come on a Wed AM (soonest appointment available) and I had my grown daughter here at house. From previous instructions we understood A&E would call before service technician would come out and she was here specifically for that. Phone rang but daughter did not get it, and they left voicemail. She called the number left on the voicemail within a minute of receiving message. Was told that because she had not picked up that they had already cancelled the appointment and no recourse but to reschedule over a week later for next availability. I called after work Wed and their response to this was their standard line that they tried to contact us and could not reach anyone and therefore cancelled the service. They had no record of my daughters return call to them so basicly repeated their party line back to me. I asked to file a complaint with their customer....dept and got same story and no satisfaction. I checked Large Appliance Repairs on Angies List (not sure why I let Maytag Company steer me to begin with, they aren't doing anything for me) and found A&E with lousy record and others with great records. Trying to rebook with one of those with a great record now.
