    The customer service representatives are always polite, professional and very ready to provide assistance as needed.  In this case, the representative followed up with the Appeals Department, gave me an estimated decision date, as well as a reference number for my appeal to provide to the hospital.  While the appeal itself was denied in this particular case, MHBP has, on the whole, been a fantastic health insurance provider, particularly in the area of maternity care.

    I highly recommend them. I was expecting the worst. The shingles had been put up around 18 years ago and they were nearing their life span even though we didn't have any leaks. I figured they would say that our roof was faulty. When they built the upstairs bedrooms, they divided it up into 4 attics. It wasn't just one attic. It was 4. They took the entire top off for everything. It was a rather large area. Travelers didn't even quibble about it. They had an engineer come out here and he looked at it. He told me that I had done everything that could be expected for a home owner. They were really puzzled how the mold had gotten in there universally in all 4 attics. They finally figured out that the snow had sat up there for so long that it had soaked the felt underneath and that's how it had happened. Right after that we had some warm days and that's what caused the mold to blossom. We had gone through the proper procedures of getting it looked at promptly. They didn't even quibble about it and they said it was no problem and they would get it done. Travelers is through my insurance company in Fredericksburg Virginia. There was something called a holdback. I had to pay 25 percent upfront and then after the whole thing was completed I got that back also. They paid 80 percent upfront and I paid $4000.00. As soon as everything was done and I was satisfied and I informed them, they sent me a check for $4000.00. I ended up paying nothing. We are going to keep using Travelers forever. What really shocked me is that my insurance rates didn't go up.

After an initial meeting, he provided a quote for disability insurance that I was considering.     2-10 Home Buyers Warranty
    I called to have a leak repaired. It is covered on my policy, however getting them to fix it is proving difficult. I spent HOURS on hold over 4 days and they still have not sent anyone out to fix the problem. I have talked with two departments and 9 people within this company. I have talked with another 7 people trying to get it dealt with outside of the company including the insurance regulation commission of Virginia. 2-10 Home Warranty has a very limited number of contractors who are "in network." Although I'm at a point where they are finally offering to pay for a contractor of my choice. None of the contractors I have called (about 6 different contractors) are willing to trust that this company will pay them. Franky, I can understand. Further, the water damage has now caused swelling on my hardwood floors and 2-10 has stated that they do not cover the damages, just the initial problem. If you have to use them, ask for a rep through the sellers Realtor to contact for problems.
