I selected Unlimited Protection because of their reputation, professionalism, and customer service. They are a top-notch company where the quality of service and attention to customer needs are exemplary!

    When I called to schedule my semi annual inspection, the technician arrived and performed the prepaid services. Imagine my surprise when two weeks later I am billed $160 by a 3d party - Bay Electric - for the contracted prepaid services. I called and was informed that Harris was out and Bay had assumed their business. As Bay was not a party to the contract they could bill freely for the previously included services and the now worthless contract holders presumably could sue an non-existent business. Harris never told their service customers that it was disappearing. I was eventually able to get the charge reversed by pointing out I was a lawyer and their assumption of Harris was binding. However there is no guarantee that other contract holders will not be duped as I was. Be very cautious when dealing with Bay Electric especially when you have a Harris generator service agreement.

    Outstanding! Back when , I did a survey on what system to buy and their product was exceptional. Saying that -- My system has been inplace for 15+ years. It is a work horse. I have had minimum trouble calls but they were there for me from walking me through a question to coming out to the house. I have recommended this company many times to my friends and all installed the system in their homes. This company is customer oriented and are there for you. I highly recommend their security and monitoring system.

    Monitronics is very quick to respond. One of the best features of my system is direct voice link to the operators. When there is trouble with the system (low battery or false alarm) they contact you so as not to waste the time of police or firefighters. We've had the system for more than 5 years with no problems.

    Based upon other reviews on Angie's List, plus a referral from a close friend, we selected Johns Brothers Security as the provider for our home. We talked to two other companies (one of the big name companies wouldn't even send a rep to our house - they wanted to do everything by phone. No thanks.), and we ended up choosing Johns Brothers over those other companies.
    One of the primary reasons we did this was due to the sales representative, David Taylor. David was punctual and professional when he arrived at our house, listened to our concerns, and offered us solutions that met our security and life safety needs. David has been in the industry for a long time and you could tell he knew his stuff.
    When the technician, Jeff, arrived at our house to install the system, he also did a great job in answering any questions we had, and offered us options on installation of the equipment that helped minimize both our aesthetic and security concerns. Jeff was careful and efficient with the installation. Our sale rep, David, even showed up during the installation to ensure that everything was running smoothly and to answer any questions we had.
    Even after the installation we had a billing question, and we got a quick call back from Johns Brothers and David as well. We've also been extremely pleased with the way that the system has performed. It's very intuitive and easy to use!
    I'd definitely recommend Johns Brothers to any that needs their services, and of course, David Taylor as well.

    Transaction was by phone for initial order and activation. Customer service was excellent in all instances. Equipment arrived before the due date in an organized and easily understood presentation. Equipment installation was performed by the customer with telephone assistance for set up and activation. Would highly recommend this company.

    The house that we bought that we're in now had an alarm system in it. It had not been activated. I'm happy. There are no problems at all. If anything they call too soon, like when you forget to turn off the alarm and open a window. They're very good, no problems at all. I have no complaints. I would recommend them. They are very responsive. The price is reasonable. The people are nice to deal with. I pay yearly because I get a discount. If you compare the price with some other services, it is very reasonable. I will definitely use them in the future. I have no complaints.

    I've had an alarm error of "System Low Battery" since Aug 29, 2011.  When I called ADT, they said it needed 48 hours to recharge after a power outage.  I returned on Sept 6 and called again.  The earliest they could send someone out was Sept 27.  The ADT rep also informed me that I could go get a battery and replace it myself if I couldn't wait until Sept 27.  My plan coverage includes battery replacement.  On Sept 14, the battery failed for both smoke detectors and the intrusion detection device in the den.  ADT scheduled a repairman to come out on Sept 17, but no one showed up.  I called ADT and they said someone in Scheduling closed my ticket but they didn't know and couldn't find out why.  They rescheduled my repair for Sept 22 between 8-12 AM, and again no none showed up.  I had to call three more times before I finally got a supervisor who promises to have a repairman here this afternoon.
