    Seth Oppenheim MD
I waited a really long time, them was compelled to watch patient education videos. Then I waited some more and was moved to an exam room where I waited 45 minutes. I was about to leave when the doctor finally came in. He did not look at my chart prior to seeing me and did not address the cataract. I brought it up and he said "you don't have a cataract." I corrected him and he did a minimal examination of my eye. When I left the room, he was talking to another doctor in the hall and did not move aside. I had to squeeze past him to get out. H is arrogant, boorish and unpleasant.

Promised glasses in a week. Apparently what they don't tell you is the lab they use has quality control problems and it can take up to three weeks and no guarantee that the specialized coatings you asked and paid for will be applied. Go elsewhere.

It was good. The only thing about them is that the waiting times are very long. That's the one thing I struggle with there. They just over book. The staff is friendly under the conditions they have to operate with so many patients. My biggest complaint is just that you just don't get in in a timely fashion because there are just so many people there. You have to wait an hour or so. That gets odd.

They are nice, friendly, competent, and professional. The waiting room is big, nice, and comfortable. It takes a while to get in to this particular doctor, it can take three weeks to a month to get in. He takes his time and explains what is going on. I haven't had any problems and I have been going to him for six or seven years.

I've used her for more than 10 years. She is thorough and on time. She explains to me so that I can understand. She is probably one of the most intelligent women that I have ever met. She is phenomenal. They were serious to me about eye problems and issues. She was always able to explain that it wasn't as bad as it looked. She referred me to a specialist one time because she thought I had some retina damage. It was all good and didn't turn out to be a bad thing. I talked to her about Lasik and she told me that it was not a good thing for me. I've only had to go to her twice for emergencies in all the time and they got me in the same day. My son went to her for a while.

It was quick and painless. Your significant other can watch the whole procedure on a TV in the next room. His staff was always friendly and reassuring throughout the whole process. The longest I ever waited was like 10 minutes in the waiting room.

I got a pretty thorough exam, but by the assistant, not the doctor. The doctor came in at the very end to check the pressure in my eyes. I still think I got an accurate prescription but it was odd not to see more of the doctor himself.
Buying the glasses right there was very easy, they even handled the payment for the doctor, but thier selection was limited. I don't know what would have been involved to get the paperwork and buy somewhere else.

The ophthalmologist was disappointing. The appointment felt rushed, and he accepted my own self-diagnosis of dry eyes without himself running any tests or asking any questions. I went to him to find out what was wrong, not to have him take my layman thoughts as fact. Although he did do a very thorough job of examining my eyes for any injury or areas of concern, the only solution presented was a prescription for the ungodly expensive drug Restasis, for which there is no generic. No discussion of other management techniques, problem signs to watch out for, or an opportunity for me to ask questions. I certainly didn't feel as if the two month delay to see someone paid off. I was no more educated than I had been before a Google search on dry eyes, and I had a prescription that was crazy expensive, takes months to even kick in, and might not even work at all. In short, the visit was unsatisfying. If I have to visit an eye doctor again, I would not choose him.

Staff was inefficient and rude. Doctor was abrupt when we finally saw him. They lost my paperwork that I had filled out a few days prior and turned in. After, I insisted that they double check to see if they had it, they went to the back and realized that they had made two files on me and it was in the one that they did not pull. The main reason that I give them the low grade is being on time and valuing their clients schedules and lives. When I arrived to have my children seen they stated that they were running 45 minutes behind and would I like to reschedule. Of course not! The next day for my appointment they did not say anything and after 40 minutes of waiting in the lobby to be called back I inquired and they were not aware of a delay. My appointment was at 10:40am. My children's were at 2:45pm and I had to take my daughter out of school early just to get there on time. On day 2, after waiting 40 minutes I told them that I had to leave because I had a 12:30 appt. and would be late now that they had made me wait so long. Too big of an office with too many clients and not enough help or organization. You even have to stand in a line and wait to check out and pay any charges. After I expressed my frustration with my wait on day 2, I had another patient approach me and say that they wait that long every time they visit the office (morning or afternoon). Bottom line, if you have a tight schedule and value your time then find another provider!

Took forever to get an appointment, and it was rescheduled by them two times (one they called me the day of the appointment to say they had made a mistake and the opthalmologist was not in the office today). But the doctor was knowledgeable once I was in to see her.
