he quickly went under the house and looked around, he was on time, he was very professional, although job was not completed. He offered a credit towards doing the whole job, which is 4400. by the time i think about it the offer will expire, but do i get my money back for the offer i purchase for 199.00 because that is a lot for just a look around?

    Bay Crawlspace & Foundation Repair
Everything went perfect - just as Bay Crawlspace said it would. They arrived on-time, cleared out the crawlspace as needed and then worked continuously until the job was done. The workers explained each step that they were completing and asked if there was any other questions or concerns that I had. Professional from start to finish.

I though the attic cleanup consisted of feces removal which is the correct procedure before blowing insulation I was coerced into buying services not included in the Angie's list service description so my price went from 1800

    A-1 Inc Exterminators
I previously had the home inspected and called out a termite company prior to purchasing it in April of this year.  The home is a foreclosure.  In addition, one of the pipe's had burst over the winter while the house sat unoccupied, so we had to have it repaired to ensure that the water actually worked.  Needless to say, THREE different professionals and my husband spent quite a bit of time in the crawlspace.
With so many people going under the house, we found out that the prior owner replaced a lot of the wood due to the fact that the house did have termites at some point.  Essentially, they remedied all issues under the house, sans the addition of a vapor barrier.  Point being, everyone mentioned how lucky we were and how "good it looks under there."
During the home inspection, another termite company in Tidewater gave us a quote that included the vapor barrier and a regular bug/termite package for the next year.  That quote was approximately $800.
When I saw this deal for the vapor barrier only - $200, I thought that was fair.  Until it turned out to be a scam.
When the guy finished his inspection and started spouting off about how much debris and wires and crap were under the house, I just scoffed and asked how I could get a refund.  I contemplated not writing this review, but realized had I not known that he was lying, I might have gone along with it.
If you use this company and the work involves something you can not see or are unwilling to access it in order to see it (crawlspace), ask for pictures of the issues prior to handing over money or better yet, go with a more reputable provider!

    The Drying Co
Joe and his staff are professional, dependable and stand fully behind their work.  After verbal discussion of the project(s) they  describe in writing what they intend to do and the costs.  They regularly update us on the progress and this time they were able to minimize the original cost saving us several hundreds of dollars.

AMC911 Foundation & Waterproofing Repair Systems
The project was slow to start due to some miscommunication regarding price, but everything went well aside from that.  The workers arrived on time, were very courteous, and did a good job with the vapor barrier and the moisture analysis.  My pest control technician even commented on how well the work had been done.

    Advanced Engineering Construction
John I believe came out to my home to check my foundation as my crown molding was separating and one of my doors is not closing correctly. He checked under my home too and said everything was looking good. I fixed my door and ceiling cracks but my door is still off and now is a second door. John was very informative, nice and courteous overall. He did recommend an irrigation system but we decided not too. I called the city to come check and we are just going to get the ground leveled. Overall I am happy I called!

Peerless Carpet Care & Restoration Services
My outstanding insurance company recommended Peerless and I couldn't be more pleased with my service.  Jeffery  was my rep and he is the 'picture' of professionalism.  He was there the first day of call and he gave me his personal cell number. I used it and Jeffery was completely accessible.  He communicated with my insurance company and kept me informed.  Jeffery went to bat for my cause and it is because of him that my insurance company completely covered the drying portion of my loss.   Peerless is a winner.

    JES Foundation Repair
They came out, didn't walk around to show me anything or explain anything.  They only offered one solution which was a $55K piering of the entire house.  Other company's who wanted to pier the house offered more for less, explained everything and spent hours with me.  The foundation only has hairline cracks here and there.  I bought in a structural engineer and they showed the real problems, support beams were sagging and it had nothing to do with the foundation.  The only thing JES could say was well at least its not a $100K job.  oh and our house is 2 story, 2400 sq ft.

    B-Dry Waterproofing and Foundation Repair
The crew which performed the work in my basement was efficient and professional.  The work was well done and on schedule.  Everything appears to be working well so far,  but we have not had enough wet weather yet to be able to determine whether or not the waterproofing system actually works as claimed.
