    When I entered the facility, I was greeted by the most friendliest and professional staff. (Jon, Joey,Kris, Jeff and Luis. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facility, the prompted attention and of course the excellent. service. My mom and I could not believe the kindness that exuded within these gentlemen. I would definitely go back there again.

    The State police called this company to tow my son out of a ditch after he slid off the road in bad weather. The tow distance was 16.5 miles. My son, who has high functioning autism, called me for help after this company was already called. At first they told me it would cost $400.00 and they would not tow it where I asked them to. They would only tow to their lot. I reacted badly to that price, because that is an outrageous price for a 16 mile tow. They walked away from my son without finishing our conversation, and they did not give my son a chance to get his medicines and cpap machine out of the car. They just took the car. My son was not in a good frame of mind and not acting himself. They left him alone on the side of the road with a head injury, and he had trouble telling me where he was. The police gave me directions by phone to help me find him and pick him up. After I found him, I called Brookneal Auto so we could come and get his medicines from the car. They would not allow us access to the car to get his medicines unless I brought them $450.00 in cash within the next hour. She raised the price from the original $400 to $450. Even though I explained that my son needs his cpap machine to sleep, and he has a heart condition and diabetes, and his medications are vital, the woman named Debbie did not care. I begged her to let us have his medication, and she said if his health is that bad he shouldn't be driving. She was very heartless. I wanted to talk to the insurance company the next day, and I wanted to settle up in the morning. I offered to pay by credit card but she would only accept cash. She made me go to an ATM at night for cash before she would send someone over to the building to let us access the car for medicines/cpap. I called the police for help, thinking there's no way it's legal for them to hold his medications hostage for a large sum of cash. The police took a long time to get back to me, and by the time they did, we had already paid and gotten his medications and medical equipment. (His life and health are more important). The State Police officer agreed that they should have given him his medications, and said he would report the information to his supervisor. The employee who collected our $450.00 cash and finally let us access the vehicle told me that we had until 5pm the next day to "decide what to do with the car". He encouraged me to bring him the title and they would scrap it for me, but they would not pay me anything for scrapping it. I decided to have it towed to Maaco instead, to see if it could be repaired. When I called Brookneal Auto to tell them it would be picked up by a different tow company, they changed the deadline to 4pm and said if I did not have it picked up by then, they would lock their gates and charge me $50 for storage. I see other reviews for this company that seem good, so maybe this woman Debbie was just in a bad mood and decided to take it out on me. But folks - she has been truly awful! If you decide to work with this company you are taking your chances. :(

    Not good. My daughter took her car dropped off at night. She told the lady what was going on and she was not relaying the messages to the man looking at the car. After two weeks of that I called myself and the lady put the man on the phone and I explained to him what was going on and he says to me he had no idea about what I was telling him. I know for a fact that it was told to someone because she was at my house when she called. The man told me they would look at the car and call me back. I never received a call so I called I was then told the man was at lunch this was 1130 am I never received a call back. My daughter then calls and she is told the man didn’t have time to call her. She called me and I told her to call back let them know we were coming to get the car. She did and nothing was said. We get there to get her car she goes in to get the keys comes out and said they didn’t say anything to her. This was unprofessional I have never in my life experience I professionalisms like this before. Nothing to say after having a car for a month.

    We had a loud repetitive noise under our vehicle while away on vacation 500 miles away from home up north (yeah, NY plates). Took it to Gregorys General Auto Repair to have it checked out. Gregory spent 1/2 hour thoroughly looking our vehicle over (short test drive and up on the lift). Although he couldn't put his finger on exactly what the problem was, he ruled out anything major and assured us that we could get home without worry. Cost for diagnosis - simply a handshake! Honestly being from NY in rural Virginia we were at the mercy of the repair shop. Gregory could have taken advantage of the situation charged us hundreds for whatever service/repairs he could think of; he didn't do that. From our experience, Gregory is about as fair and honest of an individual that you will find.

    Excellent!  George gave me an estimate and guaranteed his work for 3 years... no questions asked.  His price was about half what several other "reputable" garages wanted to charge.  I would definitely recommend them because of their honesty, and concern for the customer.

    I used this shop because of a recommendation from a friend and reading a couple of reviews on Angie's List.  They coordinated having my vehicle towed to their shop, communicated well, and the estimate was accurate.  I would definitely use them again.

    Found out I had this problem thru another company but they were saying $4000 & so I went & got a 2nd opinion thru AAMCo. Due to their warranty & professionalism I decided to go with AAMCO...The price being quite lower than intial quote made my decision easier as well.

    I have never had any problems with them. Considering it's a luxury car, I guess the price is fair. This particular visit their punctuality was fine. I have had a problem in the past with having to sit there and wait a long time.

    Their customer service is over the top. They call you by name, they go over exactly what they did when you go in to pick up the car. They're really good, they even vacuum.
