    MATCHLESS BODY WORKS
    Matchless restored my car to "better than new" condition in all respects: mechanical, handling, and appearance. I now have 10,000 miles on it after the repairs, and in every way it is as good or better than it was before the collision. I particularly appreciate how they "stuck with it" despite the long, difficult and involved job it turned out to be, as on more than one occasion they discovered additional damage that the insurance adjustor had not found. They didn't ignore this, they just fixed it! The only downside was that the repairs took months rather than weeks, in part due to some personnel issues at Matchless that have now been resolved with new on-site management. Matchless immediately recognized that the delays were not my fault, and they picked up the cost of my rental car after my insurance benefits ran out. In another example of their dedication, commitment and professionalism, after delivering the car to me I found one additional problem that still needed to be fixed. Matchless took the car right back to fix the issue without the slightest complaint, and they once again provided me with a rental car for the time needed to make that last repair. Their sole focus from beginning to end was on my satisfaction, and I think it would be hard to find another body shop that would go as far to satisfy a customer as Matchless did for me. Between that and the high quality of their work, I would never consider going anywhere else.

    I was able to call in advance and they took all my information over the phone. They called me when the part came in, and we scheduled an appointment. They did the work in an hour, and was willing to work with me. They’re very good and very responsive. I worked with Danny, who was excellent. Everyone there is professional and attentive.

    They do a good job generally but they're overpriced. They also wouldn't order the part until I brought the car in and left the car overnight. Basically, I'd be without a car for a day in a half while they ordered the part, made sure it was correct, and installed it. They're not customer friendly in terms of convenience.

The repairs were made on time and to my complete satisfaction. I hope I never have to go back again, but if I ever need body work on my car, this is where I would go.

    I was very pleased with the experience. I had researched and found D&V for a different job years ago and kept them in mind for this work. The guilty party's insurance was covering the work and I told them I wanted D&V to do the work. Initially I had to coordinate with insurance and D&V but once work was approved and D&V started work they worked with the other insurance company directly to get additional costs approved and to get those additional payments.



    D&V was great to work with - they were pleasant, timely, professional, the work was quality. I am glad I had them do the work and I would recommend them and go to them again in the future.

    I think they're marvelous. They're very responsive, very lady-friendly. They don't talk down to you and they - in fact, with one problem I had with the car, I took it in to them because I never will take it to the dealer because I hate the dealer. But I took it in to them and the car was still just barely under warranty and they said, "Well, this is about a seven or eight hundred dollar job, but that's the bad news. The good news is that your car is still under warranty so go to the dealer. So I took it down to the dealer. After telling me that yes, I went in - because I said, no, how do I go in to the dealer and pretend I don't know what it costs, and the Curry's guy just said, "Well, go in and say to them exactly what you said to us. It's going chuggety, chuggety, chug, or whatever it was." Which I did. And they started waffling about it was going to be this much money and whatever and saying okay let's make an appointment and we'll get this taken care of, it will be seven or eight hundred dollars. And I said, "Oh, but I don't think so. I think this is covered under the warranty and it should be paid for, you know? It's not my problem." The service rep says, "Oh, your car isn't covered under this, it's the wrong year." What he didn't know was I had a copy of the technical services bullet in my purse that specifically said that this problem was known to occur in the cars between 2007 and 2011. And I said to him, "You know, I find that very odd because when I went to school, nine came between seven and eleven. Isn't that true anymore?" He didn't like that at all. And then of course, I made the appointment, got the car in, they kept it and didn't fix it. I'm driving it home and it's doing the exact same thing. But when I got home, I called and I said I want to speak to the service manager and they said, "Oh, he's busy." I said I want to speak to the service manager, I want to speak to him now so be nice. And so I finally got him on the phone and I explained to him that his rep had lied to me about - and I could have blundered if I didn't know otherwise, and I said, "You had the car, you didn't fix it, I will bring it back tomorrow and you will give me a loaner." "Oh, we don't give loaners" "Oh, yes you do." They gave me a loaner and the second time around, they did fix it and it had to do with brakes. I mean, we're not talking about noises here and I think I had to take it back to the dealer for something that was, you know, recalled and they were so - cool would be the best word. They just no more chirpy pleasant, they're just, "Yes, ma'am, here." I think that they've got a big red x on my name on their computer. You don't do that. I mean, how dumb did they think I was?
    Curry's always pick me up and they say, "Don't walk, don't walk!" They're so convenient and they're so pleasant. They're extremely user friendly. I never feel like they're selling me bill goods. I never feel like they're trying to get me to upgrade to something. If they suggest that I do something with the car, there's always a good, logical explanation and reason for it.

    Elden Collision Center's workmanship is superb.  Perfect color match every time.  The work is always below insurance rates.  Very quick turn around.  We had all three cars done within a week.  If you live around Sterling, Herndon, Reston, Great Falls, Loudon, or Fairfax area, I highly recommend Elden Collision Center.  Ask for Joseph.
