  • As usual, it went off without a hitch. And, very quickly. I called Mark on Wednesday and told him what I needed. He's said he could certainly do it.... and as quickly as the next day. I went to the warehouse club and purchased the unit. Then sent a text message and photo to J & M with a copy of my sales receipt. A couple of hours later, Mark's guys stopped by BJs, showed the receipt and loaded it onto their truck. Less than 30 minutes later, it was sitting in my basement. I can't say enough about Mark and his guys. We used them as a true mover when we moved from one home to another four years ago and they did a fantastic job. We've used them for other delivery jobs and they have been prompt and reasonable. I highly recommend them. Charlie Bever Glen Allen, VA

  • Having used many Geek Squad/FireDog-type store-based services, this company is by far--WAY FAR--the best repair experience of ANY kind that I have encountered.
    Quick diagnosis; quick part order; quick fix; honest price; good repairman; no issues.  The way service used to be....before we needed Angie's List.
    In fact, I am an avid Angie's List user and have limited success using their service providers.  However, there is NO QUESTION that this is one of the best companies to use on Angie's List...or outside Angie's LIst even--period.

  • He was exactly on time.
    Quickly evaluated my TV and informed me that the LCD on my 5 year old  42" Samsung LED LCD was bad. (Too bad new tech is not as durable as the old CR tubes)
    He could fix it, but it would not be worth the money.  
    He gave me advice about buying a new TV. Very pleasant and to the point.
    He seem knowledgeable.
    He was right, new TVs have come way down in price.

  • I had a cartridge refilled here a few months ago. I brought
    it back because it stopped working and the associate said air had gotten into
    the chamber and the ink was gummed up. So he gave me a replacement, no problem.
    Then I had the same problem a week later with that cartridge and he gave me
    another replacement a few weeks ago. I barely used the cartridge and it also
    stopped working. When I brought it back he said it was empty and couldn?t do
    anything about it. It was barely used at all and I believe the ink was leaking
    and not refilled properly to begin with. He never put the correct date sticker
    on the side and it showed as being filled months ago, even though I just got
    it. The whole time he was rude and kept saying I need the receipt, even though
    I only got a receipt with the original months ago.
    In summary, 3 cartridges were not filled properly, the
    contacts were gummed up, and he refused to give me a refund or refill on the third
    time, even though he did twice before without a receipt. I saved myself a lot
    of hassle by getting the official cartridge from Staples, which I know is
    filled right and works great every time, even though it?s a little bit more
    expensive.

  • Was as able to quickly diagnose issues and make recommendations.  Also took time to answer all my questions and concerns. Email of documentation for me to send to insurance adjuster was prompt.
    Once decision was made to repair TV it only two (2) business days to get order and receive the part.  Installation was scheduled and completed that same day.  Very happy to have my TV working properly again.

  • I was able to schedule an appt with technician which was convenient for my work schedule.  He arrived on time and went right to work.  He explained each of the areas that he would checking after I made him aware of the problem  -- and then after the intial inspection confirmed the solution for the problem.  He detailed the necessary repair and quoted the total cost.  (The $75 Service Fee did go toward the Repair.)

  • A verbal estimate of cost of repair and time frame to fix was provided. I did have to call them to ensure the repair would be completed when promised. They immediately completed the repair and was ready within an hour of my call. Very pleased with repair and would definitely would use them again.

  • Commonwealth Renovations was very responsive.  Once I purchased the deal, I was contacted right away and they ask for me to provide 3 dates that I could be available for them to come out and do the work.  A date was agreed upon very quickly.  The day before the contractor was due to come, I was called and informed that the contractor was ill and the work was delayed for just two days.  I really appreciated the call the night before rather than the morning of the appointment.  The contractor showed up right on time and ready to work.  He worked steady all day and was very professional and friendly. The quality of the work was very good.  This was my first experience with a contractor from Angies list and I was very pleased.

  • I contacted LDM Associates because someone hit my mailbox with their car. Lewis' repair was really nice. It looks better than before it was hit. I would use him for other things that need repair around the house in the future.

  • I called them because I bought a new VCR/ DVD unit.  I wanted someone to come out and set it up for me.  They said that they could not provide that service for me unless I signed a service agreement and  paid more for the service. I found them unhelpful.
